I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as expected. This kind of issues may be temporary…and might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the interference between untested plugins. Try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear all caches and test again. Also check in browser console if there are some errors.

1), 2) I have tested on my side and this kind of Visual Composer element, Big Grid Slide, seems to work as expected on mobile devices. Please try to check it on our demo version, here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/ Please ensure that issue do not come from any untested plugins wich can cause some js.errors in our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and instal only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Please make sure that you’re using the last theme version, V 2.3.5, which support custom post types and that filter works fine: http://screencast.com/t/KTQxkiwmj – http://screencast.com/t/TySiHALTYW I am not sure what plugin you’re using to add categories to pages and how this plugin will work with our theme. You can try only with basic theme configuration, the theme + Visual Composer, set in block settings the custom post type as page, and the display filter as random and at every refresh should display a new page in that block.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for blog mode but if you want to achieve as you want, it is necessary to alter the code. You should use do_shortcode method and add the code in index.php core file. First of all, you have to create, for example, a block with your desired configuration and then you have to copy/paste the code of this feature from Visual Composer to index.php. Please follow the steps below and try to implement this method into your backend.

What’s the better option if I need a block with a different layout? I see you can either use the td-api plugin or a child theme. I’m not totally clear that the child theme approach lets me add a new block or only override an existing block.
Also, is there a guide somewhere in the docs that shows an example of the layout of each block? It’s kind of hit and miss with the tiny icons in the composer, and no way to see how big the thumbs and such are.
Solved: Visual Composer wasn’t installed.
Try increasing the default memory in your php.ini file/hosting, AND in your wp-config.php file. I have mine set to 256MB but the default is a paltry 40MB! That won’t work with both Visual Composer *and* bbPress.
When I add Visual Composer items to my Newspaper website page, they do not display on clicking ‘view page’. Can you let me know why this could be – and what settings I need to check?

Hi, I have a problem with displaying my network post into my main site. Right now, I’m using multisite setup.
I want to set my website such as this one. Take a look to the bottom “berita bintang” & “ruang politi”. It displays post from their network.

Your sidebar does not work with the code above as it’s not a default sidebar from the sidebars section of WP. It is created using row settings in visual composer.

I am not sure how do you want to display this iframe on your site but a basic example would be like this:
-first you can add a specific class for the iframe so you can target it with css:

-use this custom css in theme panel > custom code > custom css to set a size for your iframe, you can modify this values as you want:

That is why i assumed you modified the theme to have it like this. If you have not modified anything that means that it could be a plugin compatibility issue.
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files. Then check the error again.
