The problem in the mobile version comes from the visual composer row settings. I have tested this myself and found that a full height row and other settings will cause this effect on the mobile version. These visual composer row options were not adjusted to work with the theme 100%. We usually recommend the default values set on the VC row. In your case you can use the default values on the row and just select the stretch row no padding value.(you can try different variations to see different results)

Please make sure you have enough posts to display first. It shows 13 posts at this moment. Make sure you have more. If you do have more posts to display, you can try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check again to rule out a plugin conflict.

I cannot suggest you to use a page instead of a category and also it is not good to have duplication on your site(the same name even it is category, page or post). The theme doesn’t have such an option to use Visual Composer for category template, so if you want to use a custom page(like you have now) you will need to use a redirect plugin.

Please try one more thing. To disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and purge CDN files if you use it. Unfortunately you cannot set a category page as a homepage, but you can replicate one in visual composer.

Are you maybe using the jetpack plugin? The photon feature causes errors with our images. If you use it please disable this feature.
If this does not work, please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check the smartlist again.

You can try to disable all other plugins and just leave visual composer active and see if it generates the error. It could be a plugin conflict.
You can also try to reinstall visual composer (use the version that comes with the theme).

For pages i set the code to change the textbox link. If you do not use a visual composer textbox it will not work.
