Hello @kaeferatwork !

You should add a new page named Blog and customzize it with the TagDiv Composer.
We have some settings for the rows and different stretch sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/bsbB5P97A -> https://prnt.sc/icoqdTR9_DMS4

Hi,

Check in the TagDiv Composer and disable the H1. For example, H1 from logo(header, footer, mobile, sticky): https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/6-h1-tags-on-front-page-bing-have-deindexed-my-site/

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria, I was in the process of creating an Admin account for you to use, and found that the problem on the site has gone!

Somehow – I don’t know how or why – the issue is resolved, presumably some caching was going on ’til now…

I deleted and re-installed the Composer plugin a few times yesterday, as well as deleting and refreshing the site and browser caches several times, but only today it is fixed.

Weird, for sure, but I’ll take it! So no need to look at my site – but thank you very much for the quick response in any case.

Kind regards, Martin

Hello!

I think there is a glitch from Composer because I’ve tested it with the latest update of the theme, and I couldn’t see the issue.
Clear all the cache and check the results.

Thank you!

Ok actually I didn’t install any plugin, so mobile pages are build with tagDiv Composer, but I didn’t understand where can I set font-size for them? Because in theme panel there is font-size, but I see the size is fine on desktop but different on mobile.

Hi,
Normally the 524 should not be a problem caused by the tagDiv Composer, but in any case you should use a good host and not a shared one (especially if the site is one with many posts and has a lot of traffic).
Now what I can suggest related to the theme is to make sure that you have the last version 12.6.2 and the last WordPress version 6.4.1 also a compatible php version like 8.1 or 8.2
If there are still some problems, we can take a look, for this will need a temporary access to the site and this can be done via email at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!

Hello,

The post page can’t be edited with tagdiv Composer. You can create a page where you can add the posts loop.
A workaround solution is to change the page template here and set it to latest articles -> https://i.imgur.com/FadwSmC.png

Thank you!

Hi,

Please let me know what mobile version you use.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hi,

You can hide one element on desktop and unhide it on mobile, for example -> https://imgur.com/GKIKvgt. Every element in the TagDiv Composer has a setting to make it invisible. This setting can be seen in the CSS tab of every element: [Display: HIDDEN]. You can also hide the entire row.

Thank you!

Hello,

If you made a layout and you want to use it on other pages from that website, you can copy with right-clcik https://tagdiv.com/right-click-menu-tagdiv-composer/ it or you can save the row that contains that layout and add it on the other pages -> https://i.imgur.com/cPY3fCd.png -> https://i.imgur.com/zZvtWxP.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/W69aoKj.png

Thank you!

I added a footer using tagdiv-composer which works really well on desktop. I am using an inner row which has a four column layout, and setting the first column to a width of 50%, while leaving the width setting for the other three columns blank. Here’s a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/u5yig53.png

The problem is that on mobile the first column does not autosize and is confined to a narrow band (see it here https://i.imgur.com/XbTxQ1i.png). I have spent two days playing with the various settings to fix this without success. Please help!

Hi Anamaria,

I have a ACF field on posts that have social links related to each page. In this example I am trying to display them on the page, which works fine but I can access the Composer due to the error. I have to comment out the do_shortcode() line change the template then re-enable it.

I have provided a limited version of the code so you can recreate the problem. The shortcode is added via composer to the page template as a ‘Single External Shortcode’ from composer.

Thank you

Thank you. That works for the block, as shown below:

https://prnt.sc/18gxOaSstcFx

But it also shows (part of) the image on the subcategory template:

https://prnt.sc/zc0a2kWn6tAL

How can this be avoided? When I open Tagdiv composer, it doesn’t show up.

Thanks

I’m facing an issue where inline images in my WordPress posts are spilling over the boundaries of the post container. Despite attempts to fix this, I’m still encountering the problem. In the TD Composer, when I adjust settings under ‘single post content’ for both ‘content width’ and ‘center aligned images’ and set ‘extend direction’ to ‘left & right’, the images seem to fit within the container. However, this fix doesn’t hold when viewing the post outside of TD Composer. The images continue to overflow. This issue persists on both desktop and mobile platforms.

Hello,

I know what it seems this is doing can be done using the page builder. But I need to create a custom shortcode as I am dynamically getting the content.

I need to create a custom shortcode using the existing shortcodes from the Newspaper theme. But when I add the content and call do_shortcode() I get the error in the Composer/cloud template builder.

Errors at columns elements: 15(models) : 16(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

Below is a minimum example of the code:

function custom_shortcode() {

$output = do_shortcode('[tdm_block_socials social_rel="nofollow" tds_social="tds_social3" facebook="https://www.facebook.com/TagDiv/"]');

return $output;
}
add_shortcode('te_social_links', 'custom_shortcode');

How can I update this so I do not get the error and can work with Composer. Additionally where can I also find hooks for the other shortcodes so I can dynamically add the values.

Thank you

Dear support team,
same issue ongoing on my side. The update broken the website and it seems that the issue is caused by the composer and/or the cloud template plugin. Activating standard pack did not fix. Deactivating the newspaper theme makes the site working. I reached out server assistance and this is the response:

“From the analysis we made and my subsequent investigations, the issue is caused by the tagDiv Composer plugin.
I checked your PHP error log and the issue started immediately after this error was logged from tagdiv.
[14-Nov-2023 13:54:48 UTC] PHP Warning: file_get_contents(/var/web/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/https://cloud.tagdiv.com/td_plugins/td-composer/3833ae26cf1f9d406448012ce1734aa1/td-composer.zip): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/web/site/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6805
Our recommendation will be to reach out to the theme/plugin developers support team with this as they are in the best position to assist you.

Can you please help me to understand how to fix?
Thank you,
regards
Pietro

Hi, after upgrading WP and Newspaper theme on VeloVeritas.co.uk, I get this line twice on my homepage and on some other pages…

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /homepages/30/d35404754/htdocs/VeloVeritas/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 4909

Deleting and reinstalling & activating the Composer plugin doesn’t resolve the problem.
Please can you let me know what I need to do to correct things?
Many thanks, Martin

Yes, I know that, but composer is disabled on Page Posts, and I don’t know how to enable it. :(. https://ibb.co/RhK8JkV

Hello!

I recommend using this element from the tagdiv Composer: https://prnt.sc/94_ZOBOMe7Su
Also, you can use this option as well: https://prnt.sc/7Zxm1z7YelXL

Please note that our IT, mentioned that TD Composer uses almost all of the resources of the server and this causing the Error 524.

Hi Bennita

Do I understand correctly that TagDiv has withdrawn support for the legacy theme. That we should use custom development to regain the scroll feature on the menu? I have to ask – I must answer to bosses higher up. ~ Too many subcategories (for size setting) – without the scrollbar it becomes a useless function as you cannot see the articles thumbs.

I have also tried to add a page as a menu, as seen here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/menus-newsmag/ – for some reason the page does not show up – what type of page can be added? – the instructions was a little limited (can composer be used?). Is this something you can assist with?

Thanks.

Bettina

Hello @mediax!

The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue for that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme.
You can set the size of the mega menu container in the tagdiv Composer: https://prnt.sc/NJSp57HoXTs3, so you won’t need any scroll bars.
You can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/ and they will create a solution for you.

Thank you!
