If you open tagDiv Composer you will be able to save the element as is ( already configured ) by right clicking on it and Save Element button . If you save it you will find it at the bottom in tagDiv Composer here: https://www.screencast.com/t/euKZmmR4QUmb

Even if your theme is not activated, your website should not be blocked. When the theme is not active you just can’t do certain things using theme panel or tagDiv Composer. But the website will run normally. I would like to investigate this issue further, Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:

Of course, using cloud templates there would be no need for widgets basically, and there will be more settings, in the composer. But if using cloud templates is not possible, let me know if I can help achieve what you want with the widgets one way or another. Maybe also provide a link to the website so I can see them.

@ToHoBe So what are the remaining problems now? I believe you mentioned an issue in another topic, with the cloud templates. Do they work now? This is somewhat confusing.

The cloud footer template do not have the edit with composer option https://i.imgur.com/N8L7U1C.png
They can be edited from where they appear. So for example if you have a footer template set globally https://i.imgur.com/qHWbO1m.png then by editing the homepage for example, you can edit the footer https://i.imgur.com/vKps2Ms.png -> https://i.imgur.com/8EhVt77.png

So basically the footer templates are the exception, they are the only ones that cannot be edited directly with the composer. They can be edited from a page or another template where they are displayed.

@ToHoBe So from what you mention, the cloud templates that the demo imported can be edited with the composer and they work, but the ones that you import cannot. Quite an unusual issue. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look at this, provide in the email a link to the respective website, admin login, also cPanel may be needed.

@Alastair Dixon What issue are you having exactly? Is it the issue described initially in the topic? I believe it would also be best to send us an email, so we can see the problem happening or understand what is happening exactly on the website. Then we will try to help sort it out.

That depends.

If you are referring to pages, they will indeed contain composer specific code, like his for example https://i.imgur.com/bwETPDz.png
In case the theme and the composer will not be used anymore on the website at some point, the pages will have to be recreated with the builder or method used at that time. We have no tool or plugin that can convert the shortcodes the composer uses, to a different builder or type of content. The page will simply have to be recreated.

If you are referring to posts, their content will be the same regardless of the theme used. The post content is not build with the composer so it does not contain code from it. The theme provides the post templates, and does not add anything in the post content, except ads when used.

A custom font can be loaded in the theme panel https://i.imgur.com/k4l88Tw.png The font must have the woff format. Up to 5 custom fonts can be loaded in the theme.
After you load them, they will appear in the font selection options everywhere in the theme and in the composer.

So for example, here I am loading and using a custom font

1. Does not work for which socials exactly? For some of the socials there are special requirements, in the theme panel https://i.imgur.com/tnIstYq.png Without these the social counter will not work for them. Let me know.

2. I believe there are plugins that will allow users to log in with socials. But the default WordPress login will have to be used then most likely, or a custom login from the plugin perhaps, not the theme login modal.
Try some plugins and make some tests to see how they work, for example https://www.wpfloor.com/free-wordpress-social-login-plugins/
Maybe something like this will be added in the theme at some point, I can’t say for sure however. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

3. That is correct. The latest articles section is added by the page template, not by the composer. Please check here https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-page-templates/ The settings for that section are in the backend of the page, not in the composer. What exactly would you like to do with it?

By default this is not possible. What you can do, create a page using tagDiv Composer, set it to have no footer or header: https://www.screencast.com/t/IvhaXJ7NrLzO

In that page, add a Flex block preferably. And set the filters in it: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zn2pza7Z

Then this page can be added in your Mega-Menu in Appearance- Menus.
