Task – to replace the banner image jpeg on the Home Page

Select Inner Row and on CSS “remove image” – image removed

Upload new image from Media Library – identical size and format, just a different design
Will not upload – no error message, just nothing.

This is an intermittent thing – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Also happens with other elements on the Home page – sometimes they load after 5/6 attempts – sometimes first time, others not at all – tried with Google Chrome, Edge, Safari – tried from different pc – same result, very frustrating.

Please advise what can be wrong

Hi,

You can use other plugins too, unfortunately for the moment we can provide the settings only for that one.
Please try the options from these topics:
For example you can try the cache plugin indicate on here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/minify-javascript-and-css-3/

Hey sir, i jist wanted to ask one more thing. Can we align social icons on the left side of the posts in Mobile Theme.

Just like this website has done: https://ibb.co/QbH1hS6

Is there any CSS code for this. I’m using Mobile Theme Plugin for Mobile Theme

Hey Vlad,

Thankfully, I’ve managed to sort out my First Query. The Front Page is now in accordance with the rest of my pages.

However, the video component is still not showing up right on the mobile version. Here is a link to one of our video articles to check it out:

https://mouthingoffmagazine.com/mouthing-off-artists-spotlight-irene-shoshanne-carlucci/

While I’ve got you here though, there are a few more things I have noticed, that I’m having a difficulty solving.

1) In our contacts page I have placed my volunteering staff’s dedicated email addresses using the social media/mail icon. However, upon clicking the icon (which has the appropriate email attatched to it) it just comes up with a 404 error rather than opening up my mail to send an email.

Here is a link to see what I am talking about: https://mouthingoffmagazine.com/contact/

2) I have created a sidebar that I have placed for our articles. While I have changed the header style of the headers to match our theme, I have been unable to find an option to change the colour of the header to match the headers on our front/home page. (See First Link (Video) to see this sidebar)

3) I have recently minified our CSS, Javascript, HTML, etc. Using the W3 Total Cache. However, since then I have recieved AMP ‘validated URL’s’ erorr’s with the statement ‘Invalid markup removed’ occuring & my Error Index keeps having Invalid inline script errors, however, these always have the markup status of removed.

None of this seems to be causing any issues to the actual site and it appears to be in perfect working order. However, as someone who is quite new to all of this, I’m a little uneasy as whether this is just a small, insignifcant issue that sometimes occurs after minifying or whether this will cause greater issues down the line.

Apologies for all the questions & thank you for all of your help!

Hi probangla, maybe I do not expressed myself correctly, I will try again.
The website that you provide as example is a custom made, is not using a theme element, it is custom code, I do not think that you want to do that.
For this I tried to provide and example for how to achieve something similar with our theme, using the elements that our theme is providing, but please note that this need to be made by you, theme support does not mean to make the website fore you (build pages and so on), these is to provide guidance on how to do it.
Here is an element like you want -> https://i.imgur.com/xTN7exb.jpg all you need to do is to change the image, text and set the link.
Here is the page source code -> https://pastebin.com/YcwtMp0V just copy and paste it in a new empty page -> in code editor -> https://i.imgur.com/Ngwsjay.png after that publish the page and open it in tagDiv Composer to add your images and links -> here you have a row with css that was apply to get the layout https://i.imgur.com/Q0dxFdM.png -> https://i.imgur.com/iDESYaN.png also you can use copy and paste to duplicate the element.
Hope this will help you!

Hi guys,

Even if I made the settings you recommended ( https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ ), I am interested to get a better score ( https://tools.pingdom.com/#5d2d6670a4400000 https://tools.pingdom.com/#5d2e677c93000000 )

The hosting is very good and has a great performance (tested on other themes).

1. Settings done according to your instructions
WP Super Cache – setup done
Expire Headers – added in .htaccess but pingdom reported they are not added.
Lazy load from Template settings: enabled

CDN: do not need it because my traffic is represented by Romanian users, located in Romania (https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/)

2. Expired headers added but reported as not added
There are 8 static components without a far-future expiration date.

Is it recommended to host them locally and add expired headers for them?

3. The gtmetrix tool (waterfall) shows me that there are some .css / .js file requests that takes a lot of time to load: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.doctorbro.ro/GBYVzcB1 ( http://prntscr.com/um9djf )

How can I minify the css files? How can I combine javascript files (enable minify javascript files) or delay javascript execution. WP Rocket has these options but unfortunately, I am using the plugin you recommended.

We are trying to use td_api_single_template::delete() api to delete bunch of unnecessary templates from the site. But it’s not doing anything.

Can you please help us with that?

Thanks

Hi, I wanted to change the way the posts are ordered on one of our category pages.
Right now they look like:
1 2
3 4
5 6
but I want them to be from top down:
1 4
2 5
3 6
Is there some kind of css or php that I can change to make this possible?

I tried everything, I search in custom CSS, in theme customization settings, in an editor, in Cpanel but found few lines code nowhere in the website.

unwanted code is still showing in source code for post pages.

<div style=”display: inline-block”>
<span class=”td-adspot-title”>- Advertisement –
</span>
</div>

above is present in source for all existing but I am not able to remove it, please help.

I found a fix, I added the following custom CSS in the theme panel.

.td-vertical-text {
writing-mode: vertical-rl;
}

Hi,

Using the Beauty Pro Single Post template, I find it difficult, if not impossible, to selelct the rows and elements in the top row, when looking in mobile view.
When looking at the page https://seashore.nl/nieuw/klantgegevens-en-de-wet-2/ in mobile view, you’ll notice that the Single Post Categories element and the Page Title element slide over each other. That should be edited in the css, but I can’t select the elements there this way, and hence, can’t edit the css.

I made a second template based on the Beauty Pro Single Post template without Single Post Categories element, so I can always use that. But still, it would be nice if I could display the categories above the title.

What would you suggest tow ork around this problem?

Regards, Martin.

Hello TagDiv team,

I was using the Art Magazine as a base template for my blog(http://vork.co/) with the vertical text on the home page but after I updated it to the 10.6 it seems like it doesn’t work anymore. There is still “td-vertical-text” in the Extra Class box but maybe I have to do something about the CSS with the theme panel? Please advice!

Thank you for your support!

Warm regards,
Vorakorn

Hi,

If you like, you can try this custom css -> https://i.imgur.com/qugOalK.png
.td-post-content blockquote ol {
text-align: left;
padding: 0 50px;
margin-left: 0;
border-left: 5px solid lightsteelblue;
background-color: #f8f8fa;
border-radius: 0px 15px 15px 0px;
padding: 20px 30px;
font-family: Actor;
font-size: 20px;
font-style: normal;
text-transform: none;
color: #1e73be;
}

Or if you want it simple like this -> https://i.imgur.com/83fGKdY.png use this code

.td-post-content blockquote ol {
font-family: Actor;
font-size: 20px;
font-style: normal;
text-transform: none;
color: #1e73be;
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.

Hope it will help you!

Hi,

Yes, you can do this from post template, if you are using standard post style, then you can use a post style without featured image or you can use a custom css.
If you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer and using the right click to remove the featured image. If you want to remove the featured image only for some posts, you need top have two single post templates, one set as global in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/Pog4qQr.png and the order one you can set it individual per article that you do not want to have the featured image -> https://i.imgur.com/DHUkKH8.png

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

This can be done with a custom css like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/eJFeocz.png
table > *{
text-align: center;
}
table tr th {
background: orange;
color: white;
text-align: center;
}
table tr td:last-child {
background: green;
color: yellow;
}
table tr:nth-child(even) {
background-color: #dddddd;
}
table tr td:nth-child(1), table tr td:nth-child(2) {
background: green;
color: white;
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.
Also it will be batter if you add an extra class on the table to can tiger the code only on the tables you want.

Hope this will help you!

Hi, I’m fine, thank you!
Unfortunately there is no option for this, but you can achieve it with a a little work and a custom css like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/s2gbYSS.png
.single ol {
list-style: none;
counter-reset: li;
}
.single li::before {
content: counter(li);
color: red;
display: inline-block;
width: 1em;
margin-left: -1em;
}
.single li {
counter-increment: li;
}
.single ol li::before {
content: counter(li);
color: red;
display: inline-block;
width: 1em;
margin-left: -1.5em;
margin-right: 0.5em;
text-align: right;
direction: rtl;
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.
Also all you need to do is to replace the red color with the one you like.

Hope this will help!
