I checked what you said and the problem still the same.

Here is an answer I got from AMP author Plug in :

It looks like the PHP CSS Parser is tripping over one of the stylesheets your theme is including.

However, it is somewhat difficult to identify which stylesheet specifically is the problem.

Your theme is including a very large amount of CSS. Even after tree shaking there is almost 500KB of CSS, while the maximum amount of CSS allowed in AMP is 50KB. So 90% of the CSS needs to be eliminated to be AMP-compatible.

hi, I just renewed the support because I’m wasting a lot of time for changes. I’m not a technician.
I use header style 9 | top bar style 1 | Footer style 8
I have a big list of changes and issue to solve …. ehehe so I start with this.

This is my css – I put in so You can check any issue

.td-a-rec-id-sidebar > div{
margin-bottom: 5px!important;
}

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 24px;
}
.td-all-devices{
margin-bottom:5px!important;
}
.td-ad-background-link {
cursor: pointer; cursor: hand;
}
.td-social-google, .td-social-pinterest, .td-social-facebook, .td-social-twitter{
display:none!important;
}

.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none!important;
}

.category .td-page-title{
display:none!important;
}

/*.sf-menu{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display: table;
}*/

.entry-title, .td-module-title {
text-align: left;
}

.td-module-meta-info {
text-align: left !important;
}

.td-excerpt {
text-align: left !important;
}

.home .td-header-rec-wrap {
display:none;
}

table {
border-collapse: collapse;
border-spacing: 0;
width: 100%;

}

th, td {
text-align: left;
padding: 9px;
}

tr:nth-child(even) {
background-color: #f2f2f2
}
.intestazione {
color: white;
background: black;
}

.page-id-12658 .td-header-wrap, .page-id-12658 .td-footer-wrapper, .page-id-12658 .td-sub-footer-container {
display:none !important;
}

I would like to know if it’s possible display different version ads (for desktop and for mobile).

I try with this code
<div class=”td-all-mobile” style=”padding:0px”> I have a revolution slider inside </div>
<div class=”td-all-desktop” style=”padding:0px”> I have a revolution slider inside </div>
but don’t work.

I’ll wait for your answers. Probably You need more info…?

Thank a lot for your help.

Hi,

The better solution will be to make a new menu withe less elements and you can make some menus with sub-menus like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5hknLmBh -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/ if you use custom css all you can do is to make the menu smaller and reduce the space between elements, but this will make the menu less visible.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

You can use some custom css to for the width of your website, but this will change/break your website design/layout -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tYmUjZte
.td-container, .tdc-row, .tdc-row-composer {
width: 640px!important;
}

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Unfortunately, that functionality is not valid for Newsmag, sorry! If you want to hide the header and the footer for your landing page, you need to use a bit of CSS code for that. You can provide your website with the exact URL where you want to have that landing page so I can provide a more accurate response.

Thank you!

Hi,

Seems that grey bar is a padding set on the body of the website http://prntscr.com/n79qd3

I believe that top ad is adding it, so that when the page is loaded it pushes down the content – http://prntscr.com/n79r09 it should remove the padding when it’s closed however, but it does not – http://prntscr.com/n79rca

Without that padding it will appear over the mobile header – http://prntscr.com/n79rsb
so the menu, logo and search will not be seen unless the website visitor closes it. I could give you a code to remove that padding – http://prntscr.com/n79uer

body {
padding: 0!important;
}

Enter it in the theme panel -> mobile theme -> custom CSS code section.

Thanks

Hello,

I think I didn’t explain the issue well.

I did not make changes in Newspapers style.css, I made changes in my old themes style.css years ago. I then override the old theme with Newspaper.

In my old themes style.css I changed e.g. the font of h1, h2 and p and the text color to #001447.

Today, after overriding the old theme with Newspaper this style changes still show up. I also deleted the old theme via FTP.

I also tried your advice of resetting the theme setting. Didn’t help unfortunately. I then changed the theme to another one and fully deleted Newspaper. I then uploaded Newspaper again, because you wrote that this will override old settings. Unfortunately it didn’t.

How can I reverse the changes that were done a few years ago? Is there a way at all? E.g. I don’t want my text color to be #001447 (darkblue) anymore. But I can’t change it via Theme Panel and I also don’t see a solution to change it via style.css, cause there is no code that shows the old changes (like text color beeing #001447).

Thanks for the update tip, but at the moment I’m not sure if I can use Newspaper with this issue or I have to switch to the old theme and style again.

Hi,

I think that you are referring to this sub-menu -> https://www.screencast.com/t/oFk1fe4iERF , please try this custom css

left: 15px;
}

Feel free to change the left: 15px until you achieve what you need.

Hi,

If they are pages you can edit the page and remove the ads.

If the ads are in widget sidebars in posts and pages, maybe create sidebars without ads and set them.

If the ads are in the post content (top, inline or bottom ad spots) the theme does not have settings for specific posts. All it has are general settings to hide them per device
https://www.screencast.com/t/g6L9YSkB

Hiding them with CSS is permitted by Google when using media queries
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6307124?hl=en
Setting a display:none without media queries is forbidden by Google
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1354736?hl=en

What you can do is to set a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library with out ads and make a copy of this template and set ads in it for the post were you want to have ads ( the ads in single post template can be set using tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dYEh4nIv you can set as many ads you want using the ad box -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IiAlsDAT -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7ua8g3oti).

Maybe use a plugin such as Adrotate to better manage the ads in the website. There are many theme users that recommend this plugin. I believe it has settings for what you have to do per specific posts.
Some more about it here if you should consider it
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/

Thank you!
