You need to optimize your site, no theme can do that for you.

See my long winded optimization thread for tips in the tutorials, DIY, best of forums section.

There is a complex process to do this, but if your host will be supporting php 7 + https + http/2 you no longer need to do a lot ofthat, as http/2 will package the entire page as a single element which solves the issue.

Normally you would move elements to footer, and put critical CSS in the head, among other things, or use some tricky plugins that might or might not work. (Speedbooster tries to do some of this…)

Perhaps not answer you were looking for, but having done this for a lot of site myself, looking at http/2 is the best solution to look into with your hosting provider for 2018 ‘best way’ to do that.

(you can try the free ‘scripts to footer’ plugin also … )

Hi, a user on this forum (Pedroarmindo1) helped me fix the basic problem. I figured out that Single_template_xx.php should be edited

We need to find this code in the file
<?php echo $td_mod_single->get_date(false);?>

and replace it with the following code

<?php echo the_date(false, ‘<span class=”td-post-date”>Publicado em: ‘,'</span>’); ?>
</div>
<div class=”info-line”>
<?php echo the_modified_date(false, ‘<span class=”td-post-date td-post-modified-date”>Atualizado em: ‘,'</span>’); ?>

But there is 1 more issue; if anyone could help here;
1 – Two dates are displaying in two lines. See here http://prntscr.com/gk9wd9
There should be only single date “Updated on: September 12, 2017” instead of
also displaying the ‘publish date’ and ‘updated date’

2 – Also how the date could be formatted. What CSS should be used.

Pedroarmindo1, Many thanks for your help, it really worked. I figured out that you edited the Single_template_2.php

For others, find this code in the file

<?php echo the_date(false, ‘<span class=”td-post-date”>Publicado em: ‘,'</span>’); ?>

Hi,

These words can be removed with a bit of CSS code, like below:

.td-social-but-text{
display:none;
}

You can translate these theme’s strings from the Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ptDCpnOdKT

Thanks for the message!

Hello Somosung,

Yes, it’s possible but please notice that our theme does not have any such an option for it, sorry! You should use such a custom CSS code in order to achieve as you wish. As a recommendation, you should try using the media queries and target the mobile layout with the desired instructions for your blocks -> https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_mediaquery.asp

Hope this helps!

Hello manoelvlm,

If you want to remove the gradient from the Big Grids, notice that you should try using a bit of CSS code to do this. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

.td-module-thumb a:last-child:before{
display:none!important
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2aoiGfgLQZT9

Thanks for the message!

Might have mentioned this detail before as the erotic magazine uses an altered version of the standard block 25.
On this layout you can add excerpts like so:
use this code:

<div class="td-excerpt">
<?php echo $this->get_excerpt(24); ?>
</div>

the number 24 represents the number of words the excerpt is going to show
Place the code like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/9ZVTcwoyZhT
Then add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box for positioning:

.td-erotic .td_module_mx17 .entry-title{
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
.td-erotic .td_module_mx17 .td-excerpt{
margin-bottom:10px;
}

Thanks.

Well you cannot have a big logo AND the header ad. There is no space for both. The space is limited. You can increase the logo a bit, but not by very much in it’s current position.

Try this code:
@media (min-width: 1019px){
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo img{
max-height: 120px;
}
}

Add the code in the theme panel-> custom css box.

Thanks.

Hello,

If you use a plugin like smush or an external tool to optimize images, then the quality loss can come from there. For the cropping, make sure you use a plugin to regenerate thumbs such as ‘force regenerate’
For the page title on the chrome tab, you will have to use SEO by Yoast as the theme cannot change the titles in the browser tabs. I’m not sure about the redirect issue though. It could be a plugin conflict with other plugins.
If a color is added to a block then the hover color also changes.
If you want to remove the hover color from all blocks, please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:

.td_block_inner .td_module_wrap:hover .entry-title a{
color:black!important;
}

Thank you!

Hi,

I want to know if it´s possible to have one Slide Gallery format type for desktop and another Slide Gallery format for mobile?

I have the Tagdiv Slide Gallery format for desktop which is ok, but I need the “Default” type on Mobile.

Can you send me the code and Php file where I can do this, or can i do it with CSS?

Thanx so much for your help?

Unfortunately you will still need css. As css is loaded for the entire site at once. It is not loading just the used elements. For the moment you will still need the entire theme css file. You built a page in a custom page builder, but what about headers footers, other parts of the site excluding the page itself. The layout will break most likely.
Thanks.

Hello,
You will have to provide more details to what exactly are you trying to change the color to. Regarding modules, the colors on article titles or excerpt text can only be changed through css. I can provide the code but I need more specific details so I can provide the proper one.
Thanks.

Hi Eeshan Bashir,

I have inspected your website on Google Insights and it seems that your website needs some work, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/TBgsiP9y

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/

One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/

Basically, these are the theme requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Regarding on Google Fonts, notice that if you will follow all the steps from our useful guide, you can move to the footer this render blocking.

Please keep in mind that at the moment, we cannot provide optimization services because this task involves time-consuming and we do not afford to do this, sorry! We only can provide support for basic theme settings.
If you are not aware of these steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!
