I have installed the awesome “newspaper theme” and the “gadgets pro” demo without content on my blog excelmee.com.

Everything is fine so far except creating new pages!

I have created an “About Me” page (not using the TagDiv composer) by clicking Pages > Add New WordPress menu.

When I preview I could see that the alignment of the page title is not perfect. It’s behind the title and logo.

I haven’t published the page. So unable to share the URL, here is a screenshot of the preview.

How to solve the issue? Once solved the issue, I can proceed to create other pages like Privacy Policy…

Please try to understand my concept and then guide me with few basic questions.

My concept:

I want to create a blog that would have 4 different categories.
1) Health
2) Happiness
3) Success
4) Knowledge.

Now, I want a home page just like you have show in the “Blog fitness” demo. I want that all the new posts or articles are shown on the home page exactly the way in the demo. However, I have some extra needs as well.

My extra requirements.

1) I want that each of my category should have it’s own blog page. (I mean that “Health category” should have it’s own page with heading on it. And all the post that I make in health category should be automatically posted in this page. And they should also appear on the home page.) In simple words, if a viewer wish to see only health related articles or post then he should have the option to do that.

It’s kind of a filter. If a view clicks on the Health category from the Header menu then he should be directed to page where only “Health category articles or posts” are present.

How to do this?

Should I create 4 different pages? Or I should create only 4 different categories? Please guide me on this.

For reference you can refer “www.livestrong.com” They have the same setup.

2) Is it possible to increase the size of the logo? I want that my logo to be of a little larger in header as well as in the footer section.

3) There is a “About us” column in the footer. Is it possible to link that to a dedicated page? Along with a short description that is already present?

Please help me with these three suggestion only.

Hello!

Using the beauty pro demo theme.

Created 5 sub category/menu’s under the main/parent one.

However, website only displaying 3 sub categories on the page.

Also tried the custom code CSS solution as :

#td-outer-wrap { overflow: visible !important; }

Still is not displaying all sub categories.

Please resolve.

I’m heavily confused by the usefulness of the demos.

I’d like to use the “Critic” format, with only slight tweaks.

So I tried renaming some categories – but that didn’t seem to work. Then I found a thread that said don’t change the content. If you can’t change the content, then how can a demo be used to seed your new site?

In order to match the “Critic” layout/style, am I going to have to uninstall the demo, then re-create it, from scratch, block-by-block, widget-by-widget?

I installed the demo called “Fitness blog”

Now from that I wish to edit the main menu and have my own categories. I didn’t find any option to add new categories to my menu and also to edit the already exiting categories. Please tell me how to do that? As I don’t want the exiting ones.

I need help with the following points. I am a beginner and this is my first theme that I adjust.

1) Change links under each post
At the end of each article-post are links shown to more articles. Those links refer only to articles of the same category as the article above.

I would like to show links of a different category und each article.

Reason:
I have one general category (“Prüfungstipps”) with topics that are interesting to all visitors und more categories (“Schule”, “Ausbildung”, “Studium”, “Fortbildung”) where visitors are mainly interested in one single article. All other articles in the same category are for the most visitors not relevant. Therefore I would like to link to the post from the general category under each article.

2) Comments under each post

I would like to have the comment-box under each article and do not know how to implement
this. On the homepage I would like to remove the comment-box and have only comment boxes under each (or at least several) posts.

I enabled in the WordPress-settings each post for comments – do I need to insert a special wordpress-block in addition?

The comment-box on the homepage can be activated or deactivated only by changing the box in the template settings under “DISABLE COMMENTS ON PAGES”.

3) Star rating
On your template

is a star rating shown, what I like.

I would like to use it one my site, which is based on the Royal-Pub-Theme.

Do you have an instruction for me, how I can use this star rating?

4) Mobile version
The footer of your template (Royal Pub) is show on the computer screen in the right order, that means I would like to have the newsletter box in the lower right corner as shown here: https://prnt.sc/u3x4sb

I would like (only in the mobile version) to change the order of those two boxes. The newsletter box should be before the lighter box, which contains “Prüfungsfragen.de” and further formal links like the imprint.

Is there a way to change the order only in the mobile version?

I bought the theme last week,I uploaded the theme and have been having issues with it and now after trying all the possible means, and I want to install a demo, the theme stopped working and I couldn’t install the theme, it doesn’t show up

In your documentation you state that you can use the demo immediately and modify it, but to make a copy of the page. How do you make a copy of the page, and also do I need to delete the original page when I publish my website? I just want to use a particular demo and change the content and publish my site.

Hi, I’ve today bought and activated Newspaper on the WordPress site I am developing and it does not seem to be complete. There are no demos, update and activation of the plugins has failed. I am left with a site that now just has my sample posts in a long line with no layout at all and the extensive information I had on various widgets seems to have disappeared. There is minimal functionality evident. I made the change and activated Newspaper understanding it had more flexibility, options and good support, but so far, nothing has worked properly. The only tabs are for Welcome, plugins (which are listed as outdated/ inactive) and support.

What is going wrong please?

I have installed template GOSSIP and I have issue with website displayed on my mobile.
When I view any post I have missed left margin (everything is left aligned).
There is no issue on the demo website provided by you.

tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo after you click ok on this dialog.

Steps to troubleshoot:
– Check the permissions on your upload folder
– Please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php
