Hi,
I am using the default newspaper demo/template and when I click to read one of my main articles (posts), I get all the posts, one after another on the page that opens.
Is there an easy way to set it so that you only get the one article to open (plus whatever adverts etc)?
Ideally I would like users to click on the article they want to read and only see that, so loading speeds are quick. Is there a template I need to edit to remove the other ‘linked’ articles from showing?

Please make sure that you install the same Demo after update. Installing another demo can produce category changes.

I’ve purchased Newspaper template recently and since then I’m struggling with mobile preview vs Desktop.
I have set my page at joyfulduo.com . It is simple image. For mobile I have set different image.
Anytime I am opening page via phone the entire template changes.
Example:
I open the page on desktop I can see template A.
I open the page on mobile I can see template B.
I open the page again on Desktop I can see template B.
To see template A again I need to edit my default page all over.
I am using Travel Memories Pro Demo.
Please can anyone tell how I can fix this so I can see same page on both devices and template would not change?

I think there is some serious issue with your theme and composer. No changes reflects after making one. After facing issue with header of newspaper pro demo which I was trying to edit I went to theme panel and selected header style from there but still no change instead of the header style which I selected from theme panel it is showing me the same demo header.
Please help!!!!

Please note that in a page there can be multiple rows so make sure to check all of them for background color. Also if we’re talking about post pages you will have to edit only one template and that will apply on all of your posts. All the demo pages available in the theme have been fully built using the tagDiv Composer.

Which Cloud library template corresponds to the default single post used by default when the Newspaper theme is used with the demo “Gadget” including demo content?
I want to insert custom code just below the main content before the social media icons, so I can display a couple of custom fields. This was achieved in the “twentytwenty” theme by modifying content.php in template-parts folder.
Is there a way to inject custom code just below main content without using a child-theme in version 10.1?

thx for the response. I understand what you wrote (and tested it). But that’s an incredibly complicated way to define the global background color. I have to create several templates and I need to edit them all separately?
And moreover: when I define the bg color of the main row in the tagdiv composer, there is still white space above and below that row (between the header and the content) Can I define the bg colour of the main content area for all pages and templates in one single place? How is this accomplished with the demo sites?

If you want to use the Romanian News Demo you will have to keep standard pack. Without standard pack the Romanian news demo will not work.
– The Standard pack: A pack that has the functionality of ” keeping alive ” the layout that have been until 9.8. Without standard pack you will have to move on the PRO layouts. The pro layouts DO offer greater speed.

I created a new website and imported Romania news demo, before importing the romania demo I had activated the standard pack plugin and now I have completely customized the demo to my own design. Now, I am confused whether I should keep standard pack as it was supposed to be activated when you are updating from Newspaper 9 to 10. Is it ok to deactivate it or keep it?
And other thing is, I uploaded my own custom fonts, disabled google fonts and set-uped all the fonts to my custom fonts. Now the problem is whenever I open my site homepage or post then for the beginning 10-15 seconds the default fonts are loaded and then 10-15 seconds later my fonts shows up. How can I completely disable default fonts from loading?

What demo did you used or what exactly is the issue here. Also please make sure that you are not facing a plugin conflict: Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

If you have deactivated the standard pack plugin you will be able to install only the Pro Demos. You will see the normal demos but you won’t be able to install them.
Demo is a full layout, if you install a demo you will see in your cloud library that the demo automatically imports the footer, header, author, etc templates. you can delete those and create your own or you can modify them.
As a MUST I would say you need to have Header, Footer, Demo or Homepage and a single post template.

I can upload a file with my logo, but after saving the changes, the logo on the home page is not changed 🙁 Why ? How can I fix it?

1. If you want to disable the standard pack you will have to convert to Cloud Library templates and PRO demos.
2. When using Cloud Template header the sticky header must be edited with tagDiv Composer Header Manager and you can set it up from here. If it is empty you will have to add content in it in order to display: https://www.screencast.com/t/Bzi8kbneOKQc

Please, when we want install on clean WordPress clean Newspaper 10.x,
so we not installed and actived StandartPack,
which CloudTemplates we must install – if we want have DefaultPRO ?
We import DefaultPRO but without additional data (because we not want have from start in our ftp and database trash with demo images etc)
but imported Demo DefaultPRO not import CloudTemplates and page Footer,Homepage.
So we need help from someone from Newspaper Team, we need know information which CloudTemplates we must install. Thank you for help.
I’m customizing the theme from scratch without using a demo import.
I would like to define an dark gray background color all over the background. But if I define the background colour in the theme panel (Genearl theme colors), it changes only the outer area, not the inner area, and the theme changes to boxed layout. How to solve this?
Additional question regarding the demo themes: where and how are the background colours defined in the demo? (e.g. the “Black version”). It’s pretty confusing there: if I don’t define a background colour, the colour is dark gray.

If you want to edit the layout of the demos and aesthetics you will need to use the tagDiv Composer. If the content was created using WP Bakery you should be able to edit it with wp bakery.

They are installed because they came in a package with the demo. The most needed I would say that are the Single Post ( That is for posts ), category if you want, Header and footer… The others you can remove but you can also leave them since they will not affect your speed or anything.

how do I change the size of the logo in the header? It’s for some reason set to 300 by 20 which is way to small.
Also how do I delete rows and edit the things in the widget area? The things in the widget area are not in the widget menu. I am using Politics imported demo.
