I have installed the demo. Does not work properly like this

I am still puzzled when you say all demos are created with tagDiv composer. Why do I get a warning saying this page was created with something else? Seems very strange to me. And why do the page have vc-tags?
I dont demand a backend editor. I just want to know how this works.

The tagDiv composer doesn’t have a backend version, it is a front end composer only. In the backend of the page there will be shortcodes – http://prntscr.com/n9gdu5 this is normal. Those shortcodes are the page content.
WPBakery does have a backend editor. If you want to create pages with it, it is provided in the theme package. Note that there may be problems if you edit pages created in one page builder, with the other.
The theme demos are all created with the tagDiv composer. If you have more questions let us know.

I confirmed that I am not using a demo version of the theme; thank you for your screenshot. I noticed in that same section it gives a message that says, “Please install and activate the tagDiv Composer plugin – Our plugin is required for this theme to work best.” That would not have anything to do with successfully updating my theme correct? I can’t imagine that it would, but want to be thorough and ask.
I don’t necessarily need an automatic update or notice.
But what I desperately want is an EASY way to do this, that doesn’t create these same issues that I mentioned in this thread from 12/26/18:
“But upon new theme installation, certain homepage content was missing and I’d like to know why/how to avoid in the future:
– Site identity switched to blog from static front page
– Title tag and meta description removed
– Content blocks deleted
– Footer deleted”
Of the multiple ways to update the theme that you sent the link to, what is the preferred method?
Why does this have to be manual every time? Why doesn’t this theme update like every other theme I have encountered or worked with?

I am wanting to change the color of the hyperlinks found in the Quick Links section of my footer. Unfortunately when I select the icon box, click the style tab and then alter either of the description colors it doesn’t change the text color or the hyperlink color.
Am I doing something wrong? I am wanting to change the hyperlink color to #81c132

Please not that our demos are build with tagDiv Composer, also some of them like Fast news, iGossip, Gaming need tagDiv Cloud Library , in order to make them to work ( to import them ) you’ll need to have tagDiv Composer activate, also if the demo use cloud templates you need to have tagDiv Cloud library activate too;

I use Newspaper version 9.6 on my blog.
Wordpress Media Settings are:
Tumbnail size: 0 x 0
Medium size: 345 x 999
Large size: 696 x 999
I save all my images to 1280 pixels in full size.
I’m adding an image for my article that I’ve edited with the classic editor and I’m keeping it for full size impressions. I’m setting up a Single Post Template 34 template for this article. Although I set the full size (1280px), it appears to be 696 pixels on my page and it doesn’t fit exactly on the page. However, the images on the Single Post Template 34 demo page seem to be exactly what I want. The woman with the umbrella on the demo page looks fit. I want it to look like this.
I couldn’t find out where I was doing wrong or missing.
Can you help me?

I was looking at the default top menu for the Fashion demo and the default menus don’t correspond to the menu names in the Appearance–>Menus screen. For example, the Fashion demo has a Fashion Today mega menu with sub-categories. I can’t find the Fashion Today mega menu in the menu structure screen. See attached PDF screenshots.

How can I tell if I have installed a “demo” version as you mentioned in this thread?
Also, under “Updates,” it says this: “Themes Your themes are all up to date.”
But I know I am at least 1 version behind, per emails from Themeforest.
Why does this theme not behave like a regular theme?
I am new to this theme and I installed the CityNews demo to get started. This was 3-4 weeks ago but I haven’t had time to work with it until now.

I know this is going to sound dumb but i just changed my demo from default to gadget. I have everything set up however, every new load or page change when browsing the site it had this slide out coming from the right side. Anyway to disable that?
