You can test amp pages by adding /amp in the URL of a post page, this way you can see if there are any problems. There should not be any issues. The AMP template is not related to default single templates. This is a demo post with AMP enabled

That is the setting used in creating the demos you mention. Also the header and footer sections can be stretched (demo uses this option as well)

First of all, please try to make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data. Please notice that each of our demos, basically, is a skin of our theme. Your content should have to be visible for each demo. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way and check the results.

Then the theme panel colors will apply.

This happens because at the time of the gadgets demo creation, there was no theme panel option to set active and hover colors. This is why the color is set in the stylesheet directly. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

That could be done with CSS. It would depend however for which block type you want to do this. The demo which has this customization uses a code like this to style the module thumb for module 2

That black color is coming from the demo. It is predefined in the demo stylesheet

A solution would be to remove that color from the mentioned location. Then the theme panel set color will apply

Or you could modify it to a desired color in the same location. Or use a code to override it (custom code can be entered in Theme panel-Custom CSS)

There is no need to adjust anything in the theme in this matter. It already has the required parameters implemented.

Try enabling the post date to show on post pages, monitor if there are any changes. That may take a while.

That code will work as well, it will override the demo customization. You could use that to position the logo on the left instead of modifying the demo stylesheet.

Theme files can be modified either in Appearance->Editor or by using FTP
