Hi,

1) i noticed that in your demo and in different categories you have different color titles:
for example:
in this page you have black title https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-denton-corker-marshall-the-mysterious-black-box-is-biennale-pavilion/

in this one, instead, you have white title https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-after-effects-guru-tracking-and-stabilizing-footage/

and it is perfect!

In the website im tryng to setting if i change post title color form theme-panel|theme colors|post title color it affects all posts, so if i insert white color it works for video template, but it doesnt work for the “post style 6” template (see https://d.pr/FREE/Sc9bW0) because the white title is on white background…

How to have different colours as in your demo?

2) how to have different colour background in the video template? (style 11 and 12?)
only via custom css?

thank you

Hi,

Wauw what a nice theme. Wish i used it before.

After some test and redesign from example page. Did complete move to new design using one of the demos.

I have a “challenge” with the revolution slider. Where it worked on my test blog, it just don´t show on my live blog.

I am not sure if revolution Slider use the “old” images just automaticly. The images are in the old post but not showing or working with the Slider. Must i make for each old post a new “slider” ?

Thanks

Notice that we have IOS Slider which allows you to slide your posts and which look like this -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/slider/
Regarding on the second request, notice that our theme does not have any such an option for this, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

I believe that is happening because of the demo, this contains custom design and automatically loads the demo style at first, then the other settings from theme panel are applied.
A solution would be to modify the menu borders (top menu and main menu) directly in the demo stylesheet, change them to your current color there
https://www.screencast.com/t/yNRc6jMqei1S
These flashes are noticeable if it takes a longer period of time to load the website.
For the top menu and main menu backgrounds, please try and enter this code directly in the theme stylesheet

.td-header-style-1 .td-header-top-menu-full {
background-color: #f9f9f9;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full {
background-color: #303030;
}

This will load the backgrounds together with the rest of the style, reducing or removing the flash.
You could improve the website loading speed, to try and prevent such issues. Even installing a caching plugin may reduce or completely remove the problem

Hi,

Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider for assistance, or maybe they can make them for you entirely.
Also check the permissions on the uploads folder
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
After everything is set correctly please deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and try to install the demo again. Let us know if there is still a problem.

Thanks

Hi,

That design is created only for demo purposes, it is made only from HTML and some CSS to style it. Like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/QNMgIvpuHL
https://www.screencast.com/t/qJAMeQa6
It would be considered impractical to use this if you are going to create multiple recipe posts. Better try a recipe plugin, it would be easier maybe.
Anyway this is the HTML used in the demo posts, if it would be useful to you

<div class="td-recipe-time">
<div class="td-recipe-info">Prepare time: 20 min</div>
<div class="td-recipe-info">Cook: 2 hr 30 min</div>
<div class="td-recipe-info">Ready in: 2 hr 50 min</div>
<div class="clearfix"></div>
</div>

And the CSS that must be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS section

.td-recipe-time {
width: 100%;
border: 1px solid #ededed;
padding: 11px 16px;
margin-bottom: 26px;
}
.td-recipe-time .td-recipe-info {
float: left;
width: 33.3333%;
}
@media (max-width: 1018px) {
.td-recipe-time .td-recipe-info {
width: 100%;
}}

Thanks

Hi,

Then you could use post template style 3, that displays the featured image similar to what you are describing
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-if-you-only-knew-how-much-your-relative-churn-rate-matters/

Thanks

Hi,

That is a design choice for that particular demo. You could remove it with a code like this for example, in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
https://www.screencast.com/t/NhYXDqgnYwg

.td-sound-radar .td-header-style-1 .td-header-menu-wrap:before {
display: none;
}

Or remove it directly for the demo stylesheet
https://www.screencast.com/t/VuTmWZkq1
You could customize it if you wish, I will help you if you could provide details about hwo you wish it to be.

Thanks

Hello there,

I’m creating this topic because I have a strange problem for which I’ve not found a solution yet.
If you try to navigate my website https://www.ascoltieracconti.com/ you will see that the theme loads the original colors for Newspaper Demo (green and white) even if I changed the colors into Theme’s Settings with the ones you can see once the page is loaded (red, black and white).

How is it possible? I tried to reset the color preferences but nothing happens. It is annoying to see the original colors loading while I and my visitors wait for the real ones to be loaded.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance,

Mauro Abbatescianna.

The newspaper theme has a lot of homepage content. I want to remove some of the pre-loaded sections that came when I did a demo install.

I can’t seem to figure out how to do this. I assume it would be with the drag and drop features of tag div, but I can’t get tag div to show up when I am on the homepage. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I made the front page of the Newspaper theme (with the ‘Tech News’ demo) full-width using the tagDiv composer, but the ‘Front Page’ heading won’t align fully to the left, so it looks out of place. How can I fix that?

It can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/5zeu5

Hello,

How do I get the box into the post from your food blog demo, where the time for the reciept and so on is standing in, it is on top of the post.

Thank you

On a page which as 5 words, there is over 4000 line of code.
For example, see here:view-source:https://www.softwarefindr.com/awards/

A similar page on your demo site with more text as 900 line of code. See here: view-source:https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_gadgets/2017/03/07/td-post-your-tumblr-blog-could-soon-start-to-make-you-money/

Is there a way to disable the inline styling generated by the theme or reduce the amount of code on the page?

I am referring to these types of code:

Eg; <– Style compiled by theme –> >> Split it out to another file…
<– JS generated by theme –> >> Split it out to another file… etc.

Hello,
i’m using newspaper theme and travel demo (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_travel/)

I’d like to be able to change the background image at top automatically, (i.e. once a week, or random from a set of images).

I can do php, but i’m having difficulties finding where i have to modify the theme files for implementing this. Can you point me in the right direction? Then i can do php myself

Many thanks

Hi,

You will have to import the politics demo, and configure the slider
https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
There are multiple revolution slider demos provided in the theme package.

Thanks

Hi,
Sorry but there is no simple way to achieve that. You will need a multi-site with separate installs of wp and the theme on each one and have different demos installed on each one.

Thanks.

Hello Nabil Nachi,

Please notice that page content from our demo presentation is custom made. So, if you want to achieve something like that, you can try copy/paste that code from here -> https://pastebin.com/2RCe4N7C in your editor and check the results. Another alternative for you would be to customize your Woocommerce page using some useful shortcodes from here -> https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

There will have to be a header, to display the website logo and navigation menu. The header cannot be disabled.
The logo can be changed in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The demo you have installed uses header style 11, this header style does not have a limit for the logo size. You can use any image size as logo.
You will have to create your own menu, based on your own categories for posts. Here is more information about creating the menu, and also the mega-menu option
https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
The revolution slider can be configured to display posts from the categories you want
https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
So after setting the header and revolution slider as needed, you can go ahead and choose which block type, grid or full grid you want on the homepage. You can view them all as I mentioned in the live demo (Features menu).
First please check this tagDiv composer tutorial
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Blocks have many configuration settings, this is a guide where each is explained
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Modules that form blocks and grids will display the post title, additional post meta, and excerpt. The meta information can be disabled if you wish
https://www.screencast.com/t/DF872Ac2sR
Excerpt length can be controlled as well – https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
When the module is clicked you will be directed to the post page, that is the intended functionality.
The baby blog demo consists of the revolution slider on top, then a latest articles section with a sidebar. The latest articles section is automatically added when the required page template is selected. More about it here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Posts will have to be created and published. Edit published posts and modify them if you wish. The tagDiv composer cannot be used to edit posts, it is a page editor.

Please correct me if I misunderstood something, and let us know if you need further help.

Thanks
