OK, I will try this, but I’m pretty sure it was not showing featured before i meddled with it. just like it is not showing now on demo site…
I try to active all demo pages, and only wordpress index is showing.
What i can do?
Has the undermentioned issue taken cared off in the recent update released.
1) Trying to install Newspaper Default Demo ‘Only Settings & No Content’ however it installing demo with full content. Tried other demos as well however same thing is happening.

I’ve been trying to import some of the demos without the sample content – but it doesn’t work! The switch to “include content” does nothing. The sample content is always installed no matter which setting is chosen.
I think something is wrong!

The demo comes with predefined dummy content that you can replace (not edit) with you own content
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ when you should decide to uninstall or change the demo all the dummy content will be removed, leaving the website as it was previously.

Then you can assign these categories and posts to the elements in the page structure

As for the category description editor, that is added by the seo yoast plugin, not the theme.

I have installed the Medicine demo that comes with red background color for the header menu, but I do not have this problem. In your case there seems to be a delay for the background color to apply. You can try to optimize the website by installing this recommended cache plugin with the setting provided in this guide

It would be best if these modifications are made directly in the demo stylesheet – https://www.screencast.com/t/FDtYuhSYGg instead of creating overwriting code that is proving to be not so easy, this would also remove the need to use a considerable amount of code to achieve just a color change, needed for each of the tabs. Please try and make the modifications to the category tag and the tab color and this will be a better solution. Please let me know if you need further help.

I have exactly same style setup, and I think that earlier it was not appearing, only after I changed the name…
there must be a way to fix it.
First off, I’m a big fan of tagdiv and own both your products.
For one of my sites, I plan to use the World Politics/News demo. If you have any quick suggestions or links that might quicken my search in terms of how to change the demo content to my own, that would be appreciated. It’s not covered in the Documentation from my perusal.
Secondly, and the main reason I’m writing, the header and logo for this demo are not sticky on scroll or window resizing. Even though I like everything else about the World Politics demo, I don’t like the disappearing logo and main nav. Instead, I prefer how it’s done in the “Fashion News Demo.”
Is there a non-destructive way to change the logo and main nav action on the World Politics demo to mirror that of the Fashion News Demo? I’ve already set the man nav below the logo, it’s just that it’s not sticky on page scroll or on window resizing.

I’m working with ‘Politics Demo’Header style 11, and I’m creating the navigation.
For it I’m using the categories and subcategories to order the Menu. The problem that I have is this:
– It doesn’t matter if I create the categories in the order that I need, those automatically are ordered alphabetically and is changing the nav that I need.
Where can I fix this in the Theme Panel?
I getting this error:
tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo after you click ok on this dialog.
Steps to troubleshoot:
– Check the permissions on your upload folder
– Please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php

I can´t remove article block under videoblock on my home page. I have imported the full news magasin demo, and using it as my template. The article widget has been deleted, but the block is still showing on the site.

I just installed and activated the newspaper theme via wordpress admin panel on hostgator wordpress host.
I’m not sure whats going on, looks like the theme is properly installed but the homepage loads the regular default hostgator page?
Homepage: healthmeetscience.com – as you can see this loads the default theme on homepage?
But for example, http://healthmeetscience.com/2017/04/04/health-star-ratings-kellogg-reveals-the-cereal/ one of the demo pages is loading so I don’t understand what’s going on? I followed the install instructions exactly.

Hi,
The theme automatically creates the thumbnail sizes required for the different modules and blocks from the featured images. Each module has a defined image size that will be displayed if it is enabled in theme panel.
If you have existing content you must use the regenerate thumbnail tool in order to recreate the thumbnails required for these modules. Please try the regenerating tool provided above and the requirements mentioned in that guide. And remove any modifications you say were made. Also clear any caching installed after the regeneration process is complete.
If you tried this method and with no results, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it.

This pagination issue is a well known WordPress issue. This happens because of WordPress not the theme. Please switch to a wp default theme and the pagination will still be present. The theme has no influence over this unfortuantely. Even on our theme demo, you can simply type in any number after the “page” in the url and there will not be a 404 error.
This url is still valid:
https://www.startingthingsup.com/category/inspirations/kickstarter-daily/gadgets/page/9223372036854775807/
It is the way wordpress handles it’s content and permalinks.

Hello,
The travel demo image was added as a full width row and a background image set to that row. The the block beneath was customized with css to position over the image. Basically if you want to replicate the travel demo, you will have to install the travel demo as there is no simple way of replicating it on another demo. Each style has a unique custom design that is created specifically for that particular demo. It can ve replicated on another demo if you have the proper css skills though.

To achieve something as to display the mobile menu in this situation it would require probably major changes to the theme files and media queries and a lot of hard work changing the design of the theme. This feature applies in certain situations based on the screen size, and there are a lot of automatic functions that are involved in the process.
