Hi everyone! New to the Newspaper theme and I LOVE it! It’s so much more customizable than Avada! Why everyone loves Avada astounds me. It was so difficult to customize.
Anyhow, I’ve been trying to install my slider via Slider Revolution for awhile now, and I’ve followed the instructions on here https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/ to no avail. My slider appears black.

I imported the travel slider and followed the instructions to select a category as the source.
Please help? Your help will be much appreciated! 🙂
I would like to know how to set the homepage slider completly visible on cellphones.
The thing i would like to get is:
in my website : http://infowod.com/ ,on cellphones, the main grip slider get with scroll the second part, but…
in the newspaper demo : http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-newspaper/ , with the same slider grip , everthing is visible without scroll.
who can I do it?

I want to add an element, let’s say a “row” element. I want that row to display random quotes I pull from the database.

Hello, i am getting familiar with the theme!
I installed Say What? Theme demo for my website.
Please i have one question:
How can I change my actual fb page at social counter.
I just installed the theme, I set up the home page by studying the code generated
by the demo install on a localhost, I prefer working with the shortcodes rather than Visual
composer.
I got a couple of questions:
1.I used the tag [td_block_slide] to generate the slide on the home page, how do i make
the slide to auto-slide and to display pictures from let’s say 6 latest posts.
2.What is the visual composer short codes for Latest Posts widget, Categories widget,and Text widget.
3.How do I make the default side bar appear on the home page.
4.How do I populate the Editor Picks widgets in the footer with selected posts.
On the home page/ Travel Demo, under Post Loop Settings, I have assigned the following categories
1,106,108,109,101
That works fine, however, my client wants that order to ALWAYS be the same. Currently, it changes according to which category has the most recent post.
Is there a way to keep the order of categories IDS
1,106,108,109,101
always in that order, no matter which may have had the most recent post? FYI, category 1, features my client, thus he wants it on top.
Any help would be appreciated.

You should add the Block 24 layout from your Visual Composer. Please notice that each demo has own style if you want to have, for example, on the Say What demo the style from Car Blog demo, notice that you should do it manually. Also, you can use the inspector browser, check the style from your desired demo and then you should implement it yourself. As you can see here, each demo has own custom CSS code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/l4xYTpxI
If you want to make some additional customization to our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because wee cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

You should n ot use big grid element to show one post. Here are a couple of potential blocks that will show 1 post in an elegant manner:

As you can see there are plenty of blocks to choose from. Big grids do not work well with fewer posts as it;s a static grid.

Hello,
In order to use the default login of the theme you will have to remove all of the customization added to the theme and to the main menu and simply activate the top bar. There cannot be any login without the site top bar.
As for the css loading in sequences, this is the way that css works. If there are too many rewrites to the original css, it will load slower. If you want to avoid this, you will have to uninstall the demo style, use the default and simply change colors in the thee panel because in your cese the theme grabs the default colors that are rewriten by the demo and are rewritten again by your own customization. You must try to reduce the rewrites to the css as much as possible.

I downloaded Newspaper 7 and installed it. I have installed the sportnews Demo on my website and am working further on that.
Now I wanted to download the mobile theme so the mobile experience becomes better, but I can’t follow the stops because I can’t find the following location ”Newspaper-tf\plugins\td-mobile-plugin.zip”.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any block which displays in full-width only 2 columns, sorry! All of our blocks can be found here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ and from there you can change which you want.
So, if you want to display more levels in our theme which involve some additional customizations and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

You have got this error because the demo requires the slider from our demo preview. You should import Revolution Slider on demos if you want that this error to disappear. Unfortunately style.css is the one file that will always need replacing. Even in the child theme. There is no update proof solution for this. The easier solution would be not to use too many css rewrites. Meaning not to use any demo, and change colors from the theme panel without the re-write from the demo. You can also increase your page loading speed to minimize this effect, but changing style.css directly is the only way of having No cascade effect. This is the way css works.

I’m trying to ONLY get the “Don’t Miss” section here as shown here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ to display one category (my news category). Currently, it’s displaying everything, such as world, when I not not chosen the category “World” when I create a post.
Any ideas on how I can get this figured out?

The header box is simply a transparent box that will show the background image through it. If you want to see the image, you have to assign a background like so: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/template-style-8/
