You already have that one selected, but you added content to it in the footer widgets: http://screencast.com/t/pdo2EkLdt
The predefined content that comes with the footer styles cannot be removed from the theme panel.

You can also create a page in visual composer something like the one on our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-blog/. And add it in your menu. You can then chose which block element to display: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ and set a particular category to the block: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

In order to do this you have to set your homepage to ‘your latest posts’: http://screencast.com/t/60dfnITGbuXM
Or you can create your own blog page using visual composer like this one: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-blog/ – and set it either as a homepage or as a menu item.

I am trying to add footer to my page(http://www.anandambi.com/myblog/46-2) however when I customize the footer I get dotted lines in between the posts which doesn’t look good also I am not sure which [tagDiv] Block should I be using in order to make the footer look as it is shown in the Demo.Could you please provide me instructions to set up the footer as showed in the demo

Likely best way to see what modules are in the theme is to setup a blank “page” and then launch Visual Composer and look at all the modules — you can load content from any category you want like /articles/ — as we do on one of our websites which is a magazine and has no “news” — e.g., book/movie reviews, fiction, health articles, etc.
Pages are not posts — “pages” are typically referential like “about us” or “privacy” — and “Posts” can be anything from news to articles or fiction or whatever — so you can build layouts in VC to load content by topic from any category — build one section with fiction, build one section with lifestyle, build one section with music reviews — that’s all up to you.
Easy to play with, even build multiple different home page versions and test them by turning one on/off and asking staff to evaluate, etc.
See the theme docs for examples of different modules and “blocks” — and how you might use different ones in your layout; look at the example sites from users; look at the theme demos — all of that can be great idea starters for your layouts!

I’m not really sure what you mean. If you use Visual Composer you can add blocks to display articles from specific category/ies. So you can have different sections on the page, like you can see on our demo – http://screencast.com/t/yhFxt86TzRJ – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
If this is not what you mean please provide more details about what you want to achieve using VC pagebuilder.

Please make sure you use Seo by Yoast plugin for og: metadata as the theme doesn’t control this, just enable it – http://screencast.com/t/FVv4hp9HoEW We use it also on our demo. Check your page source to see if the open graphs are added properly and use fb debugger (fetch new scrape) to check your articles.

I started new blog and installed Newspaper theme.
I started to install one of your predefined themes. I installed them with demo content but the page renders with errors in all of them.
Note: i did not adjust anything, i uploaded demos to the white blank site.

I am looking to change the color of Category like as on the tagdiv demo, which changes according to the category used. I just purchased. Installed the tech demo. Opened my Android phone with 5.0.1 Android. Opened my site and I get junk. If I click the button to show the full site it works. Check it out. VRUX.co If it looks OK, go to the bottom and choose show mobile site and you’ll see it’s broken. Very disappointed that you didn’t bother to test this. Please fix it.
You can simply go to ads panel and delete the text you put into the posts ad box; then save; you can also switch them to “off.” If using the demo, you need to do the same as part of removing all the demo content.

It came to my attention that the script is trying to establish a connection to a remote host which is getting blocked and is causing the issue.
Your hosting account has an outgoing connections manager which as a security measure is by default blocking the connections made from your domains to external hosts. The blocked and allowed connections can be managed from Advanced -> Outgoing Connections menu.
In this case to resolve the issue you will need to manually allow the specific outgoing connection that the script is trying to establish in Advanced -> Outgoing Connections menu. For more accurate information which is the host and IP address that need to be allowed please contact the script vendors.

You don’t get all the images from the “demos” — as they are licensed images. Meaning you don’t get 100 free stock photos with theme; you get the demo “layouts” and CSS, and need to use your own images. The demo is to help you setup a look/feel for your site, not give you a ton of free content and photos.
So, this is normal practice with themes bought from ThemeForest — as the demo images were licensed to TagDiv and not to you.
If that was not the query you meant, and I mis-understood, please pardon my input. I don’t work here but have been using TagDiv themes for 2 years now, and run into various such things in my own travels. 🙂

Unfortunately the sidebar color can only be changed with custom css:

By default the avatar image is centered on mobile devices, you can check that on our demo: http://screencast.com/t/X07ZAq8nUHI Try to clear all caches, deactivate the plugins, except Visual Composer and test this again, also make sure that you’re using the current theme’s version available on themeforest which is V2.2.
Let me now how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect it closer.

The demo footer section cannot be removed from widgets. In order to remove it you have to change the core theme files. But you can use a different footer style- http://screencast.com/t/u3OpsjXn89B – and add content to it from the footer widget boxes: http://screencast.com/t/dapZHIe42.

I can’t figure out how to get to the first footer section in the demo content (the area at the bottom that has a black background and consists of the sections “Editor Picks” “Popular Posts” and “Popular Category”. I don’t see it in the widgets or the Theme panel or on the home page editor.
