Hello,
The footer templates do not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend. Please check this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The footer template can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF
We talked about it in this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-edit-footer-template-default-pro-by-tagdiv-composer/
You can use the Global footer template or you can set an individual template on each single post templates from cloud templates. => https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-a-footer-with-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
https://www.xalkidikipolitiki.gr/new/
In the cloud templated section on the footer template there is no option to edit it with tag div builder on contrast with the other templates where i can see the option edit with tag div composer. Why is this happening?
Also the articles and posts inherit the footer template that i choose right?
Hi,
1. I think is a misunderstood too, if you want those widgets to be in footer section only from Homepage you can simply use the method above replay(use two footer templates, one only on the three footer widgets as global, and the current one assigned only for the homepage).
Or if you to have the same footer template for the rest website and the content is in the footer you can drag and drop (drag the widgets that you want on the home page, from footer zone in the content zone) the elements on your homepage with tagDiv Composer.
2. If you want to remove the divider select the row on the empty space => https://www.screencast.com/t/QICJZGeYCV -> https://www.screencast.com/t/icKNF0Us7C
If you want to increase the height you can do like here => https://www.screencast.com/t/U87lAXiKKfF
4. According to Google Structured Data Testing Tool those are only warnings => https://i.imgur.com/hdL5p4b.png -> https://i.imgur.com/kLjBFr0.png and the results on Google search seems to be ok => https://i.imgur.com/f9Ju2o7.png
I will notify our developers to provide the value for those fields to fix the problem with offers and review warnings.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’ve been working on trying to update my website, but am having a few problems that I can’t seem to figure out.
-
Import
The first problem is when I try to import a cloud template for a page from the Cloud Library, I get an immediate error that “one of the images failed to upload” and the template never installs from there. It just sticks there.
-
Template
When I’m working with the template, for example Influencer, I am unable to understand how to make all the changes to the header, footer and sidebar automatic. I have a sidebar on my home page, but can’t get that to come across on the pages (non-blog pages). Is it possible or am I just fighting a losing cause?
Post Pagination
How do you turn off the automatic pagination on single article pages? When you scroll down to the bottom of an article it automatically loads the next article below. How do I turn this off?
Thanks!
KM
Hi,
The “Global template” is the default setting. A mobile page requires a mobile header and footer template. At the moment there are only the blank mobile header and footer templates available for import https://prnt.sc/y4hchy -> https://prnt.sc/y4hhl1
Same for the footer.
So you can either import the blank header and footer templates and build them in the composer. Or convert a desktop header/footer template in a mobile template like this for example -> https://prnt.sc/y4i680 and customize it further. Same for the footer.
Please give it a try.
Thank you!
Apologies if this has been brought up recently, but I’ve just gone to update 10.3.9.1 on WordPress and it says theme update failed – has anyone had this issue?

Hi mikabo,
We have some documentation about standard templates from our theme, this can be find here -> https://i.imgur.com/ji8ajXC.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/api-footer-template-introduction/ unfortunately this documentation is not covering cloud templates, those are custom post types made by our developers to can be use with our theme builder and create new elements and style from basic elements. The new elements are store in database. All files that are use for wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library for example the elements from each cloud template, author, category, single … are set here -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes
Thank you for your understating!
I have chosen Voice Report and I installed the pre built site.
I found the header and the footer, but I cannot find the pages templates.
Can you tell me where they are?
Tks
Marina
Hi,
If I understood correctly, you add the contact form in the footer page.
If you don’t want to have the contact form from all pages/posts you need to import a footer template and set it on the pages/posts where you don’t want the contact form.
You can import a footer edit with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/KexxEcLF in Manager (Website Manager) -> Footer =>
https://www.screencast.com/t/okJlry1AzY
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
If you don’t use Mobile theme, then you can create a header/footer for the mobile page, or convert the header/footer from desktop like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/dDe4WoCd ; then after convert you can modify them with TagDiv Composer.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
I find that sometimes it looks like the footer starts to load — I see it start to load but then I see the square tagdiv loading symbol and it loads another post, then I can just scroll through from post to post.
I’m using the cloud templates for footer and post body. However, I recently changed to a new footer, but saw this behavior before.
Then, the same thing just happened but the footer loaded twice instead of not at all.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Hi,
In Newspaper v10.3.3 was add a better support for WPML plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/vAjt3aG.png now you can set the header, footer, category and single template on each language in them panel, for this you need to use the translate for cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Y99kgbB.png in this way on each language you’ll have only the templates made for that language, for example https://i.imgur.com/UJbzFFp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/TWZLxQZ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CjsSkAC.png
You can duplicate a cloud template like this -> https://i.imgur.com/BLYyLc4.png after that you can edit it with tagDiv Composer.
The second method is the classic one using the strings translate, this is more harder -> you need to use the this option -> https://i.imgur.com/59kl17v.png in order to use the string translate, for example for the header -> https://prnt.sc/rumozl and in WPML String -> https://prnt.sc/rumqn5 then you need to set the id of the header you want to be set for that language -> https://i.imgur.com/ghCu54I.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UAgVTC6.png -> https://prnt.sc/rumrbd
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
I have removed the template, removed, reinstalled, and reactivated all TagDiv plugings, and reapplied the site template. Same result – footers do not save as editable TagDive templates.
Import any footer from any template and it does not save as an editable TagDiv template.
Create a new page, apply a footer, save the page, and the header and page save correctly but the footer does not.
Hello,
I think you selected the view option and there the tagDiv Composer does not appear. The footer templates do not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend. Please check this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Hello,
To adjust the row width you can do that with tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud templates.
For this, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF.
If you have a standard header and footer you can stretch them from Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> force full width => https://www.screencast.com/t/3rtHCPYNnZlu
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
This is a clean install of WP 5.6 with Newspaper 10.3.9.1
Black Version PRO without sample content has been installed.
From Cloud Templates > All Templates I created a Duplicate of Footer – Black PRO. Doing so broke the template – made it so Edit with TagDiv Composer is not an option on the original or copy. Put both the original and copy in Trash.
Imported just the Black PRO footer. As soon as it opens in TagDiv Composer, the composer auto saves and makes it so I cannot rename the template. I can modify the template until I exit. When I exit it takes me to Pages, not Templates. If I go back to Templates the footer is there, but Edit with TagDiv Composer is not an option.
I have repeated the above without editing the template after it is imported (still auto-saves, still won’t let me rename, still exits to Pages, still cannot edit after).
I have disabled the plugin, cleared browser cache, re-enabled the plugin, and tried again. Same result.
I can Duplicate the Header with no problems. I had also did a trial run with this theme before doing a clean install and did not have this issue.
Suggestions?
Hello Bettina,
yes, header and footer templates are selected in website manager and all required plugins are installed and up to date, but still can’t get it to work properly.
Thanks,
Marko
Hello!
Please check in Website Manager the selected templates for header and footer to be the one you want on your website.
Also, check if you have all tagdiv plugins installed which you had before update.(especially TagDiv Composer plugin).
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!

Hello,
The header, footer and page content can be done with tagDiv Composer .
The theme doesn’t have the option for the right and left sides ads. This can be done with plugins, but I can’t recommend which one, because we haven’t tested any of them or you can do this with custom work => https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/.
The theme has only this for ads => https://i.imgur.com/IBxx4Bt.png https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebar-ads/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/ ,on Cloud Templates and pages you can use the ad box element from tagDiv Composer => https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/

Hi, after update from 10.3.6.1 to any newer version I get strange problem. I suppose it’s problem with loading templates in header and footer and I can’t do anything to fix it. I tried to recreate them, reinstall theme and plugins but nothing helps. Can you help?

I imported templates from Cloud but strangely the footer templates cannot be edited with TagDiv Composer.
Other templates are all editable with TagDiv Composer.
I tried importing again, but all template type footer are not editable with TagDiv Composer.
