Hi, I am implementing the Newspaper Thenme and after going through the Widget section which ought to display the blocks in the Siderbar, footer 1 – 3, the entire place shows blank.
Do assist me out on how to get through this. I tried creating a page for the footer too, but the footer templates in the Cloud Library was also blank.
I deactivate all plugins except tagDiv’s, and I’m not using a child theme, clear the cache but still, I can’t install JUST footer templates..

Hey, I am unable to setup my Newspaper theme properly. I am not getting all the options in Theme Panel even after activation of the theme. Under Post Settings of Theme Panel, many options are missing like Featured Images and under Footer Settings, not getting any templates.
Suggest some solutions to fix this.
Disabled all plugins and reinstalled footer from could templates
I can now edit the footer in the front page.
My mistake was the plugins and trying to edit it from the cloud templates > footer and not just from the front page.

Hello,
we have issues with the footer in custom post template.
We configure a footer template in cloud templates section and set up in theme options. That footer is shown in all sections of site but not in our custom post template. We have added footer.php in child theme and the footer is broken.

I have newspaper + cloud templates and footer has 3 columns and under that row with logo, text and social.
The bottom one i did change from the newspaper-panel settings,
but the upper one that lists aricles different ways I cannot edit.

And like it says in the newspaper theme panel footer settings that i should edit footer columns content with widgets, bit they are empty in the widget section even if still i see the footer now in the live site almost with right content and titles..

I think that you have set the footer style 1 -> https://i.imgur.com/UeNnoIW.png this is a pre-design footer style, predefined content, you can not edit it -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ therefore you’ll need to change the footer if you want to have control over the footer content.

The problems seems to be the YouTube playlist from the demos, all demos that have a video playlist -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_racing/ will provide that error, to fix the problem you need to make sure that your Newspaper version is at least 10.3 and the YouTube api key is set in theme panel as in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/

Hi,
I was trying to enter a shortcode in to the Pro footer template using the column text element. When I go to edit the text, the text editor will not open. I simply get a blank dialog box with the circle spinning in the middle.
Then when I try to save, I get another spinning box and the page will not save.
Then when I try to edit the template with TD Composer, that option is not available. When I click edit I get the standard WP text editor and all of the TD Composer shortcodes…
How in the heck am I supposed to make new templates to get rid of the legacy code when the editor doesn’t work.
Yes, I have disabled ALL plugins except tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter.
That did nothing to help the problem.
Yes it is working now but I ‘m not able to change settings for footer sections.
In widgets there is nothing in footer widgets. it is just empty.
according to following documentation I should have widgets in footer1, footer2, footer3 blocks. https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
But unfortunately all 3 blocks are empty. and if I add any widget into that it is showing them below current content. May I know how can I change setting for current content?

By setting a background color or image, you can box your website -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/ for standard style and demos, make sure that you do not have set in theme panel some street on elements -> https://i.imgur.com/neZEfbP.png also if you are using a footer page for cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, you need to edit these using tagDiv Composer click on the row and set it as default -> https://i.imgur.com/wAqDa9i.png

I’m working with l’historie layout that have many spaces with templates in cloud library for to edit, without problems. But now I need to do a little change in footer and TD Composer shows me an error which I can do nothing. The error is:
“Error at rows: 3(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
I only can close TD Composer because is not real to do CTRL+Z.
What can I do?

@pmartines we recommend you using a footer template from the cloud library. That is the recommended method after removing the standard pack plugin. Please note that all the cloud templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer.

I’m trying to switch over to cloud templates to be able to deactivate the Standard Pack Plugin and gain speed. However, I’m having a lot of problems. Especially with translating my footer.
I’ve tried to follow the steps here:

But I can’t seem to add the tds_footer_page string for translation. When I click apply it doesn’t show up under String Translation and when I checked ‘translate texts in admin screens’ again the tds_footer_page had disappeared. I tried adding the tds_footer instead but it won’t show up under String Translations either.
Can you please help me?
I can also mention that my ‘max input vars’ is already changed to 10000 and that I meet all requirements.
My Cloud Footer Template is also the chosen footer cloud library template in the Theme panel.

It will be easier to create 2 header/footer templates, so you can use for example different logos if needed, and different menus etc directly in the template. You can for example duplicate the template and customize it for each language – https://prnt.sc/p86qss
