Has anyone managed to get this working on their website? I don’t think this is a problem with the theme as such, but I’d be grateful to hear from other Newspaper users as to how they got it to display.
As it stands I’m (unsuccessfully) using the Ad Inserter plugin which is added as a widget on the sidebar, but the raw JavaScript block in Visual Composer failed to display the Amazon widget either.

hi, i have a problem with my main menu,
if ist normal the submenu works !
if i scroll down and it change to the smaller menu the sub menu jumps to the right side, its not longe centered …

you dont understand me my friend, i know admin panel > commments page. i dont say that.
for example, i am a guest on my website. I read a post and i liked it. I am writing a comment and i am clicking send button and nothing happens. I must see a sentence/few words for example “thanks your comment” etc. nothing happens.. It isnt clear to comment send. I dont understand my comment is gone or not. Hope you do understand me..

You would need to allow people to register, then perhaps have a form on your site for them to provide you with info about themselves for making them an author; set the default “allow people to register” as subscriber; but then those folks you wish to have access, you manually change their user setting from subscriber to “author” or “contributor” depending on your needs.
See the “user roles” in the WordPress.org docs (codex). Or Google “WordPress Codex User Roles” … 🙂
Or, there are some complex plugins that allow “guest posting” and that sort of thing.

Unfortunately the theme and buddypress has no such option (guest blogging) and we have not solution for implementing it. You can maybe find a plugin with such a feature. Unfortunately we cannot make a recommendation as these plugins are not tested.

Unfortunately the code was changed since that version of the theme. I think you are reffering to this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/co-authors-guest-author-and-author-link/#post-14146. The theme had 2 major updates since then. The code was changed and that method does not apply anymore. Plus it was made for newspaper. Newsmag is a different theme.

a great resource to learn WordPress basic functions is the “codex” (docs” on the WordPress.org website.
Basically when you post as yourself, you are the author.
However, you need to setup a “user” for each author on your site under the “users” section of the main WP admin panel.
Then when you create a post, you can choose that user/author from the authors selector on the post page (where you create the article/post).

Setting authors is part of WP, and not the theme.

If you’re allowing “guest posts” — there are various plugins which allow this. This allows an “author” to be assigned without that person having an “account.” But have not used any of those to recommend. This would likely need customization for how to manage the author box bottom of each post.

Currently I’m experiencing some difficulties with the facebook post share function, I’ve tried several plugins and the issue is still the same.
There are “certains” description that shows up when sharing the post, which never happened before I migrate to this theme.
Example :
“Mali hotel attack: ‘No more hostages’ after special forces raid – Internetsukasuka.com” (Title) –> the title part is being shown correctly
In the description “(Categories)NewsNational, Mali hotel attack: ‘No more hostages’ after special forces raid 20 November 2015 Share at facebook Tweet at twitter The Radisson Blu Hotel was stormed by special forces after gunmen entered it and seized 170 people, many of them foreign guests.”
The line after the tweet at twitter is the opening line of the post.
Are there anyways to remove “NewsNational, Mali hotel attack: ‘No more hostages’ after special forces raid 20 November 2015 Share at facebook Tweet at twitter” this part?
