A workaround there could be to hide the header and footer from Manager-> header/footer, select ‘No header or No footer’ https://i.imgur.com/g9TzgLR.png but enable them after you finish editing the page.

I upgraded from newspaper 10 to 12. Tagdiv shortcodes stopped working for a while, though I sorted that out. However, I’ve lost my header (including menu) and can’t get it back. Going into the manager tab does not work. Nor does the cloud library for that matter.

There are a few ways to add the Gtranslate where you want.
Please check if the plugin provides a shortcode, if is do provide, then set it with tagDiv Composer in a column text or text with title where you want to display it.
Another solution will be to set the element n a sidebar widget, then in tagDiv Composer to use the sidebar widget element -> https://i.imgur.com/xBIZAKO.png
Also, using a cloud header will allow you to set with tagDiv Composer the elements on header.

For the cache plugin you need to use FTP/file manager to go to that location and remove/delete the mentioned files.

What I see is happening is: The same menu is used for the desktop version and the mobile page. This is due to setting mobile theme to only activate on AMP. – Setting in Theme Panel.
This being so, I can work with that but the sub category menu items does not all display.
The question then is, is there a config setting in PHP that can alter the amount of sub categories displayed in the mobile menu? Or is there a way with the cloud header manager to create a different header for mobile and desktop to call on different menus?
I would like the same mobile header to be displayed for FP, Loop and single pages.

I see that on the first link you have set a cloud header template. Did you edit the responsive version with tagDiv Composer-> https://i.imgur.com/zHGss7r.png also if you are using a mobile page template -> https://i.imgur.com/Aqx1ImM.png

I believe that you used cloud header and footer, but right not it looks like you have set to no header footer.
Do you still have the cloud header and footer templates in cloud library -> https://i.imgur.com/0lDz0Xd.png? If yes, then please check there if those are set as global. Also, you can edit the homepage and check in manager if the header is set on no header -> https://i.imgur.com/nUwCTi1.png (check the footer too).

Also, please let me know if you receive a message error when you try to import the template.
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. If you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see if the problem goes away.
