Thank you very much Lucian.
I have installed the “Search Everything” plugin which works pretty fine. The only disfunction I see is that when I search an author name, search module in the header returns “Pas de résultats” (means “no results”) automatically before I click search and get the proper results displayed in a page. Would there be a way to display nothing in this module when there’s no results? Or make the result preview also rely on “Search Everything” plugin?
Another question relative to the Search function. The results are always displayed on a page with the mention “If you’re not happy with the results, please do another search”. Where can I change/translate this sentence please?
Thanks a lot again!
Sam
Hi
The theme breaks up when using the ads on the header area.
Here are the 2 URL with the exact same problem on load up
http://walesexpress.com/
http://www.marketingvideodiy.com/
Please advise.
Thanks,
Jose.
Hi,
You can edit the header file the the search for the header style you have: http://screencast.com/t/QrpM1sb7xg You can then use the shortcode function to add your content directly into header file.
You can find more info abut how you can add content using the do_shortcode function here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-questions/#post-29762
Please note that this is nopt easy and the block haven;t been desinged to work on header and if you don’t have basic html/css/php knowledge and don’t know how to do it we suggest you hire a developer to do it for you as unfortunately we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Hope this helps!
Thanks

Hi,
I’m not sure I understand, this issue appears even when you have the header set on style 4 or just when you use style 1 with the logo and the ad side by side.
Please let me know and also provide you site’s URL with an example of the issue you have so I can check.
Thanks
What files needs to be edited to allow Block 16 to appear in the header? I like its appearance on the Frontpage of my site, but ultimately I want it to appear on every single page (ie. header page).
I was thinking of possibly making a new widget that would be coded to appear in the header, but I’m not 100% certain on which files the edit.
Another possibility is editing one of the post “styles” – like maybe taking post style 3 template and go in and change the class names to something like “fashion header h1” or whatever, then only use the fashion CSS for the one template.
Dunno. My head hurts now. 😉
I don’t think you can do that as each “stack” loads a custom set of CSS files. In theory, you could copy the CSS from one stack for the categories and replace that in the other stack … but there’s no way from the theme admin you can choose one “stack” for category-x and a different stack layout for category-y.
Of course you can build up a custom style sheet of some kind to do that, but horribly complex.
If the clases are different it might work; but if class names are the same across stacks … you’d be reloading the CSS for “header style 4” on one page, then again next page in different category, and the browser caching would likely end up loading wrong CSS for each section.
Meaning if
page 1 = header 1 = font x, size x, padding x
page 2 = header 1 = font y, size y, color y
Problem is header 1 as a class would be confusing across multiple pages where the class name is the sane but the CSS is different.
Kind of a cool idea, though.
I’m sure “official support” will have a better answer; I am just giving some feedback based on my own experience using the tagdiv themes the past 12 months. (And I could be wrong!) 🙂

okay, for anybody else needing to do this for post style “4”
this seems to work
.td-post-template-4 .entry-title {text-shadow: 2px 2px 4px black}
(CORRECTION)
WHOOOOOPS!
this adds the shadow to all the related story titles, too …. (doh!)
CORRECT CODE:
.td-post-template-4 header h1 {text-shadow: 2px 2px 4px black}

Hi,
Currently using Header style 1 and noticed an issue when the header displays with certain resolutions. No issue when it displays on my 16:9 monitor but when displayed with a projector in 4:3 it doubles the height (from 86px to 171px). The issue is visually fixed when I zoom out in the browser from default view
Screenshot of the header displaying correctly (ideally):
http://www.screencast.com/t/XmIATxPY
Screenshot of the header displaying incorrectly on projecter:
http://www.screencast.com/t/35CuscGhxw
Thanks
Anybody know how to do this on post style 4 also ?
For some reason I’m not able to sort these couple of styles out properly when looking at the source code. For style 4, there is no .template4-header div, for example.
Hi,
Depending on the header style used you could edit the template and replace the default code with the url specified above – http://screencast.com/t/phiN3g7nJ
Thank you, Emil G.
Hi,
Please use it like this: http://screencast.com/t/44xxgkdgo4u
.template6-header .entry-title {
text-shadow: 7px 7px 7px red;
}
Hope this helps, just change then values and color as you like.
Thanks

Hi,
You could do it but you will have to add them hard coded as unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option for that.
Here are the theme’s header files located: http://screencast.com/t/kyTBlUnRoo ..edit the one you use and you can use the do_shortcode() function to add your widgets using shortcodes and build them via Visual Composer, here is an example of how you can build and implement a shortcode into a template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-custom-widget-below-post/#post-30389
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Please sue this custom css for this:
.td-transition-content-and-menu td-content-wrap {
cursor: pointer;
}
.td-header-container, .td-container, .td-footer-container {
cursor: default;
}
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
You can set the header style 4 from panel then hide the top menu and and disable the social icons, like this: http://screencast.com/t/FBRQVIQh4
You will get the desired result, like this: http://screencast.com/t/1zmUXLda
Thanks
Hi tagdiv folk,
trying to add a small drop shadow to the h1 title for the style 6, to get the text to pop off the background big photo a little for legibility; I did this previously on Newspaper, and didn’t save the CSS to do same thing with Newsmag, and can’t quite get syntax right.
Trying to do something like
.template6-header .h1 .entry-title {text-shadow: 2px 2px 4px black}
And I am obviously brain dead on getting that right.
Sorry to bother 🙂
Hi Few issues could use some help on:
Ad Sizes
– No option for setting Ad box in the header to 970×250, any ideas for a fix on this?
Sidebars
– When we set the sidebars to left aligned, sidebar content appears above normal content on mobile devices, destroying UX, Ultimately we’d like to disable sidebars showing at all on mobile.
Plugin
– We use a plugin called Olevmedia Shortcodes for our accordions, it clashes with the theme. IE the shortcodes appear but you can’t open any of the accordions, any ideas? normally we’d change to another accordion plugin, but we have a lot of content using this already, big job to change.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/olevmedia-shortcodes/
Help much apreciated, Cheers.
David
I think you need to remove the @media queries from the style.css … since this is a “responsive” theme, it’s designed to work on desktop, tablet, and phone. Removing the @media queries would basically stop the other sizes from loading. You’d likely want to then also trim out the menu elements designed for mobile devices from the header file(s).
Not “easy” but you could do it if you wish to “hack” the theme for that.
For our use, we’re hoping they don’t add full width options, but that’s just me
Why? How would a full-width option affect you at all? Even if you didn’t personally want this feature, how would the option of having it impede you in the slightest?
I’m genuinely curious.
This doesn’t seem like a rational standpoint whatsoever.
And who’s “our?” Are you speaking for all Newsmag customers? I’d be interested in how you justify this claim. After all, it’s plausible that fans of Newspaper would want Newsmag due to it’s improved features (floating sidebar, header options, etc….). So did all (or most) Newsmag customers purchase the theme strictly because they didn’t want full-width options?
I’m confused. Please clarify.

Hey Support,
So I managed to get the themes footer and sub-footer full width. It looks excellent on desktop, laptop, and mobile.
Unfortunately, I can seem to increase the main homepage content. I’ve been messing around with the CSS and nothing’s working.
I hate how narrow the content is relative to the footers/full-width nav & header. It looks goofy. Too much white space. Some of the most eloquent themes these days are full width, so I was shocked that the theme only allowed that tacky looking “narrow” format.
Anyway you guys could throw some CSS my way so I can expand the main content out a little bit? Make it look a bit fuller so it’s not encased by white space? (I realize this extra space disappears on phones but my tablet/laptop still displays it)
Here’s what I’m talking about:

Thanks!
-Brian
Hi,
Is it possible to place a widgets in the header? Next to the logo, instead of an advertising banner.
Yes, you need to optimize your server and site to get a decent score. The theme is optimized, but it can’t fix your web server or edit your site files for you.
Read through the GTMetrix info to see what you need to fix.
Read through the speed help info to see what you need to implement.
Do you have gzip/deflate enabled on your server?
Do you have expiration headers set properly from htaccess or similar?
Do you have optimized images and thumbnails?
Hi,
You can see here how to add an css class to the sidebar on each template which you can use after top set up you sticky sidebars: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/control-of-widget-headerslines-on-sidebar/
Hope this helps!
Thanks
