Hello Everyone..!!
This is my blog https://sparebusiness.com/
I installed newspaper 11 themes on my website. I have created multiple categories, they are displayed over header, but I on homepage, there are showing default categories of this themes which need changes.
please see the screenshot http://prntscr.com/26eu039
This is not my category. I need to place my own category on these place.
Please tell me the solution, how can I place my category on over there?
Hi all,
I’ve activated the Newspaper Mobile theme plugin on our site https://madinthenetherlands.org/
I deactivated it on the homepage and it is not active on the static pages either. Which is how I want it. The only problem becomes that the mobile header active on the homepage and pages does not include the mobile menu or search functionality that the blog pages have.
My goal then, is to have the mobile header with menu which appears on the blog pages to appear on the homepage and pages, without having to activate the mobile theme on those pages.
Hope this makes sense.
How can I accomplish this?
Thanks so much for your help,
Karin
Hello,
Thanks for your explanations, the problem for the menu and search bar is fixed with CSS code.
For the favicon, I did all these steps:
– To add the favicon, in Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo and Favicon
– Customize icon -> Site identity -> Site icon -> Change image -> publish
– Clear the cache
The favicon appears everywhere (Desktop and Android) but not on iPhone, I still have the WordPress favicon in this case…
Do you have an idea ?
Hi, I’m using Newspaper on this website: https://www.watermagazine.co.uk/
Works great apart from when you scal ethe page down for Tablet etc. The header ends up with loads of padding below the top advert and logo. I’ve tried removing padding from the Rows, Inner Rows and Elements in this header section however there is still loads of white space. Do you know where I go to remove this? Thanks
hi
Anamaria
That’s not the question.
Please check the question again.

The header ad should move to the left.
Hi,
You can try to use a header template and adjust it with the tagDiv Composer.
Also, you can check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/create-a-new-header/
Thank you!
Hello @theurbanist!
If you want to use a mobile page, then you need to assign it to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Please make sure the page is not built with the TagDiv Composer. In this case, the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
You can resize the view of the elements because the settings are responsive which means the values will be applied on that viewport only: –> tablet version: https://www.screencast.com/t/YUVUcyrgh –> mobile version: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. Please note that you need to check every page to make sure they are responsive and look great on every viewport.
Also, you can have different header on every page by assigning a different header to the pages. Or only one by selecting a global header.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
The above issue is resolved with technical support.
Now, I have deactivated two plugins “All in One SEO” and “tagDiv Mobile Theme”, And Also with the Active only “AMP” plugin, the mobile view is not working properly.
please review a video link: https://www.screenpresso.com/=jBCqe
– AMP plugin does not work properly with tagDiv page builder.
Here is some issue list:
1) marquee tag in above header.
2) Header and footer not set properly.
3) Image not load.
So can you please guide me on how can I fix these issues?
Notes: Now I have deactivated the “AMP” plugin.
Thank
Hello Patrick,
To change the background color for the mobile header, please edit, select the viewport on phone and change the background color on the row => https://i.imgur.com/9j1EjbG.png
Thank you!
Hello,
footer works thank you.
But I changed the header style from 4 to 3 because of ad allingment to right on the page. Can I add the printscreen somewhere for you to see the trouble?
I can not let the style 4 on the page now.

Hello Michal,
1. Seems you have the header style 3 -> https://i.imgur.com/0379e6K.png, so please check it, or you can import a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can adjust it with tagDiv Composer.
2. You need to change the color of the sub footer or for the text, but also, I recommend you to use a footer template -> https://i.imgur.com/oqlBk52.png
To change the color for style footer from theme panel, you need to go in Theme Colors -> Footer ->Subfooter -> https://i.imgur.com/liq1UgA.png
Thank you!
So I did additional testing today. If I have the tagDiv Mobile Theme and Official AMP for WP activated, it stops the header/menu from presenting. I’ve turned them off as a result but this seems to be counter to what the videos suggest to do. So I’m confused why that is affecting things.
Additionally, I’ve created mobile pages for most our pages. I can get the header/menu to work for the standard mobile layout (e.g., iPhone). But when I go to do the tablet/sideways mobile version in a mobile page, the system is killing the normal version. I can’t set both without killing the other. I’m totally perplexed about what’s happening.
On top of this, pages that that are standard and done through the TD Composer have a slightly different header/menu. I’ve just confused how to make this all uniform like it was before in mobile.
Hello,
I would like to hide the “hamburger” / menu bar and also the search bar on mobile, I’m using the Ink Parlor prebuilt website (with the original header) but I didn’t find any settings in the Theme Panel for hiding this, do you have a solution or the CSS code to type ?
Second point, about favicon, in the Theme panel, I uploaded the favicon in 16×16 and also all sizes asked for iOS Bookmarklet but on iPhone, the favicon doesn’t appear, do you have a solution ? https://imgur.com/a/fUA6ibs
Thanks,
Hi,
I am trying to match the mobile header background with my logo background which is full black.
I tried to get the background color also full black, but can seem to find where I can change the settings of the mobile header background?
Thank you,
Patrick
I’m having all sorts of problems with the Newspaper theme. I was trying to adjust a mobile page version of my homepage. I was attempting to work on the mobile header to see if there were other options. In the process, I must have tapped something in the Manager window that overwrote my whole regular mobile menu/header. I kept trying to revert. Then I deleted the AMP and mobile plugins to see if that fixed thing and then tried to reinstall them to see if that fixed anything. But then I got an error that won’t let me reinstall AMP. So I’m totally lost on how to restore everything. Now all of my mobile pages are broken.
This was the original situation: https://ibb.co/Y34RBt5
This is what happened to the mobile pages before I tried to delete and reinstall mobile and AMP: https://ibb.co/zrZB3XF
And now this is what my mobile website looks like: https://ibb.co/tMc9XZm
Please help me get back to the original version.
Hi, I have two topics on my site elogistika.info.

2) I have Footer style 5, I turn on the sub-footer, fill in copyright text and turn on the symbol but it does not show on the page.

Hi
Check out the following question URL.
https://verywellinfor.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/2022-01-15-200.jpg
I want to move the header ad position as pictured.
Can you tell me how?
thank you.
I recently bought the newspaper theme and added it to wordpress hoping it would make the web building experience relatively easy, nothing about this process is easy or logical for that matter. I am experienced with computers, though have minimal coding knowledge. I tried to search for tutorials online, though everything I come across appears distinctly different than what I am looking at, including the editing programs that tagdiv offer.
I have successfully added a header and footer, though basic as they are. I can’t figure out for the life of me how to edit the body of the website without deleting everything that’s already there, which seems to defeat the point of buying a theme.
Are you able to point me to a tutorial, or how to guide that is going to enable me to get a reasonably looking, easy to operate blog up and going?
Hi I have managed to get the login box to appear in a modal popup by enabling show Sign in/join in theme panel / Header.
The problem is I now get a login box showing in my top bar.
Is there anyway I can leave the Sign in/Join option ticked in Theme Panel (to keep mobile modal login working) but hide the top bar login section on desktop views.
Thanks.
Hello,
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-disable-the-header-menu-main/ and the video that I made.
Thank you!
Hello,
So, you have now a header template from Theme Panel, and you had a header template before, right?
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/j8q38If.png, assign the header template, purge the cache and see if the problem persists.
Also, please let me know what plugins you have activated.
Thank you!
Hello,
Do you use a child theme? Did you make changes to the theme files, for example for the footer?
Also, please try to remove the logo if you have set it in Theme Panel -> Header/Footer and add it again.
We can take a look at this and investigate why is not working for you. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– wp-admin URL cPanel and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hi,
That is the path/place where you need to access if you want to edit the theme files used for the mobile menu. Unfortunately, I do not know How can I provide a more precis location.
For example in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header there is a file td-login-modal.php -> https://i.imgur.com/czkOkl9.png
I hope that this will help!
Hi Anamaria, Thank you! I switched it to no template in the theme setting, that’s the way to solve this issue, however, by using “no template” in the theme setting, I cannot customize the header with tagdiv composer. For example. I cannot make the header a transparent header. When I using “no template” option in the theme panel, I try to edit the home page, the header part will show “this is not a tagdiv template header”. Thus, I cannot edit it. It’s quite a confliction. Do you get what I mean? Hope, you could help me figure out a way to solve this issue
