To display the width and height on header style 7, 8 and 10 please replace the code from this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header/logo-text.php with the one from here -> https://pastebin.com/FDjJD3Lb
After that when you use one of those headers the height and width for logo should be set.

Unfortunately, the tagline on Newsmag can be set only on Header style 10 and this will be display only if you use a text logo and not an image logo -> https://i.imgur.com/vDGLRHu.png
The only way to set the tagline on header default it is to edit the theme files, for this, you need to go on wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header and there you need to get the code from header style 10 and set it in header style 1 -> https://i.imgur.com/TBt4C8j.png -> https://i.imgur.com/6BtJQjt.png or you can replace only this part https://i.imgur.com/m12RKQY.png to keep the layout, after that you need to set a lower font size for text logo -> https://i.imgur.com/tTZB5dS.png the results will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/2IVLTlx.png -> https://i.imgur.com/HAHsaGw.png -> https://i.imgur.com/MFleoRq.jpg

Hi 2zi0, there were some changes in boxed option. Before in newspaper v11.1 https://i.imgur.com/AYgmehm.png was made a fix to box the entire website, but most of users reported that the want to have control over there header and footer, therefore in Newspaper v11.2 that fix was removed. But do not worry, that still can be done using tagDiv Composer.
You need to edit the homepage and go down to footer section, then select one element from footer to can select the footer zone -> https://i.imgur.com/3qkC7AO.png then clear the gradient and it will display the background color ->https://i.imgur.com/s0p5ORn.png -> after that all you need to do is to set all rows on default -> https://i.imgur.com/gp3hpzt.png then check in css tab, some of row have set margins -> https://i.imgur.com/Kj0ynfR.png

If you have the mobile responsive you need to select the viewport on phone and change the logo, if you have a mobile page you need to convert the header or if you have the mobile theme plugin activate, then you need to set the logo in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Header like in this video => https://www.screencast.com/t/mo8XGUl1cD

Hi turma99, if I understand correctly, you have an image that you want to be set as top bar for your amp version. Now the easiest way it is to set it in one of the ads files like Vlad suggested or in this places https://i.imgur.com/zYxTAsO.png this is the only solution to set the code in theme settings, if this is not what you want, then you need to set it in theme files (please notice that when the theme will be updated those changes from theme files will be removed). The file path it is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php

So far, I have had the absolute worst experience with using this theme. It feels like i am always putting out one fire or the other on my website. I updated my website yesterday and all of a sudden, the name of the theme is showing up when i access the site on my mobile. As if that is not enough, I try to solve that problem only to find out that all the changes i make to the mobile headers, seem to work on my laptop, but do not work on my phone even after clearing cache severally.
The template is so not user friendly, we barely have time to focus on content creation when we are constantly worrying about something that has just randomly changed all by itself on the website.

Hi TheZugzwangBlog, on Newsmag the height and width was added of normal logo, but not for full width logo (header style 7, 8 and 10), so for the moment in case that you se one of the full width header styles, then the height and width is not set. If you want I can check to see if I can not provide the right steps to add them in the theme files.

Hi Judith, I see that right now you are using the header style 1 -> https://i.imgur.com/xRkrkjl.png if you want a full width logo like this -> https://i.imgur.com/p9sWpQ4.jpg then make sure that you use one of the full size header styles (7, 8, 10)-> https://i.imgur.com/iyXdaMw.png (style 10) -> https://i.imgur.com/bSd7hj5.png (style 7) and the logo image is set on full size -> https://i.imgur.com/3zfPK8b.jpg just make sure that the logo size is the same with the one of the website.

I have a background image set on the row which has my header logo. I have optimized it several times, and its size is only 39kb. I have WP rocket which improved the page speed a little bit. But the background image always is the longest to load. Is there any suggestion to make it faster?

Hello when someone has smaller monitor and the header menu goes with “more” the submenus disappear.

Here is the full menu, as you can see there is the submenu and when hover over it shows the extra things.
But here when we have smaller monitor and the “more” appears submenu of “movies & series” doesn’t appear.
Generally, this happens due to server-level cache or Cache plugin configuration.
Solution 1: Try generating a separate cache for Desktop and Mobile users.
Solution 2: You can add the following code to the .htaccess file
# Begin Quick fix

<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header append Vary User-Agent env=!dont-vary
</IfModule>
</IfModule>

This will add User-Agent header to your site and serve cache accordingly.

I have a website https://www.sportswearable.net and instead of a sub-domain, I have a shop set up on https://www.sportswearable.net/OurShop based on WooCommerce.
The challenge that I am facing is that when I turn on the newspaper Mobile theme, I get an option to select the header and footer menu, however, I don’t want a static menu across the whole site. For pages on shops, I want a different menu whereas for news posts, I want a different menu.
How do I achieve this?

I’m using the Gossip theme.
I want to remove the ‘sign in’ icon from the mobile menu.
I’ve already tried to fix this via Theme Panel > Header > sign in/join and set to disable.
It doesn’t work, the sign in icon is still visible.
Can you please tell me how to fix this either via settings or with custom code.
