Edit: When I deactivate Mobile theme plugin, everything works as it should be on mobile, but I lose the customisation I made on mobile like header and colors…
After managing to get Google Ads to display, I have a problem with the 728×90 ads not resizing but stretching into the sidebar area to the left of post body. I tried with Absence size on auto and smaller but this has no effect.
It may be worth noting that the header tag I copy/pasted references 728, 90 and the body tag references: style=’width: 728px; height: 90px.
The search box is not working. When we click on the search icon, it doesn’t show anything. URL is showing doamin.com/# at the corner on chrome. I tried making a new header. I also created topics on WordPress Forums with a Newspaper X theme search box problem to find the plugin conflict.
Live search box only working if the user (ME) is logged in. Or it doesn’t work. On category pages, it sometimes appears sometimes not. Your support is toooooooo slow, that previous email conversation discontinued about the same topic. We don’t want any new bug, setting loss with every update of the theme. Please HELP US.
I just found out that you can change the widget style through themepanel – block settings – global block header template and then select the block header template you want which will be applied globally on the site. You only don’t have control over the color but at least the style can match 🙂

I cant figure out how to change the header on my posts. I have created 2 custom header temapltes. I use one on my hoempage and the other one on all other pages. I can figure out how to set the second header template for my post pages. Any clues?

The updates always break my site. I have started doing the testing in a staging area. This is what happens with this update:
-sample 1: it strips all the pictures out of my posts on the channel pages. it also adds a very small banner header in black at the top of the browser. This should not be there.
-sample 2: I have comments and visit counts turned off. Why is the eye and the comment box now on in each post across my site?
-sample 2: it drops a box “vxt contributor” in at the bottom of every post. It points back to the homepage.
Live site is vexteo.com, but this is in my staging site, which you won’t be able to see without the pw. You have this as we’ve had issues before.
Please advise on what the issues are. Thank you.
thanks for your help. But it’s just not taking. I can’t get a boxed layout. We sometimes have a wallpaper ad as well and I’m concerned that the ad will be blocked by the fullwidth header.
I have done what you’ve stated in the text above, but it still not adjusting to a boxed layout.

There are so many problems with every update.
1. Our search box is not working. Tried creating the new header, deleting cache plugins.
2. Every update comes with different bugs. We have to put our time fixing it instead of creating content.
3. Mixed content Problem! This is more f up. We are getting mixed content warnings due to HTTP urls. Even though we use SSL and set everything to HTTPS, something from theme, may be, using HTTP which is giving this mixed content warning.
4. Strange pagination. I saw similar comments one themeforest page and now I guarantee its something related to Theme. The google search shows site links with strange pages like “2”, “10” search result. This “10” is domain.com/PAGE2 on site. It is neither created by us nor it should be there. Its like BLANK homepage. You have to fix it asap.
Please Give us some peace of mind. because with every theme update, there is new task for us to fix something.

Yes you can, you need to set a background image or color and set this option in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/DYEbqz1.png after that you need to edit the cloud header using tagDiv Composer click on menu and click on header menu in tagDiv Composer, in css tab set margin right and left auto and set the width that you want to have -> https://prnt.sc/t2nuxt

For this you’ll need to use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer, you can use the search option to find the separator element -> https://i.imgur.com/TZSOggV.png

how to remove header and footer from a single page
I’m having issue with the mobile header for pages. I’ve been changing the settings to make the height smaller but it won’t save on actual page. It loads a weird css that I can’t find where it’s coming from. We don’t have this issue on our pre-production site.
I placed a custom ad just underneath my header menu on LagosTimes.com and set various sizes for desktop, tablet, portrait. etc. All views work except for the responsible mobile theme horizontal view which does not show the advert. See. http://www.lagostimes.com
