Hi there, I’m trying to create a custom header and I have copied the header.php from parent theme to child theme. I have made my modifications, but nothong changed in the front end. I have also tried to edit the header.php pf parent theme and neither there the header isa changed.
How can I develop on this child theme? Thanks

If you want to have more control over the header, you can use a header from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer to make it to look how you want.

From what I can see you have set a cloud header -> http://prntscr.com/pvb8ts if is so then you need to edit that header template with tagDiv Composer -> http://prntscr.com/pvb2yl and remove the header login -> http://prntscr.com/pvb3ky and change the menu -> http://prntscr.com/pvb9zz
The setting from theme panel will applying only on the standard style -> http://prntscr.com/pvb471 will to overwrite the settings from cloud templates.

we updated the theme and activated the Standard Pack to make the current look OK.
To use the new code optimize PRO version, I want to create a new template.
So I created a new page with nothing on it and first choose one of the PRO template header.
But it show me immediatly the current header and not a new one I choose.
And impossible to change.
When I go in Cloud Templates and try to edit a fresh PRO menu, I had these errors messages:
The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!
Error at rows: 2(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
I want to create a fresh new PRO template, activate it on the site and desacticate the Standard PAck plugin after.
What I have to do to achieve that?

When using Cloud Template header the sticky header must be edited with tagDiv Composer Header Manager and you can set it up from here. If it is empty you will have to add content in it in order to display: https://www.screencast.com/t/Bzi8kbneOKQc

If you want to switch off standard pack you will have to disable it and re-design your pages / footers and headers using the new blocks available on Newspaper 10.

If you are using a default header you can add your logos in Theme Panel -Header – Logo & Favicon but if you’re using Cloud Library Header Template you will have to edit the header with TagDiv Composer and add the logos.

Hello – something recently changed with my header background which (I assume?) had to do with me giving permission to Google AdSense to place ads in logical places. Ads were showing up directly below my logo, which I didn’t want so I disabled this. However, there is now a large space under the logo that wasn’t there before. I made sure that Attachment display settings were set to Full Size. See this screenshot for reference – https://www.screencast.com/t/IaiGJc9qP. I’d just like to remove that space so that the header background stays behind the logo as is, and there’s no space between the bottom of the logo and the main menu. Thank you.
I solved the issue by starting with the Blank Header Template.
I updated to Newspaper X. Now I prepare my Webpage to be able to remove the Standard Plugin. In order to do that I had to switch to a TagDivCloud Header. I tryied several things but I am unable to get the header width scaling correctly. My Webpage width is limited to 1200px and a Background image is shown. The TagDiv Cloud Headers are all full width by default. Could you please assist me in get the Header width correctly? I will sent you an Email with the admin login data.
Hey, i’m trying to remove the top header menu from the desktop version ONLY (and keep using it on mobile) but it just won’t go, i’ve tried every css i found online with no success, please help!!

Hello, I upgraded to version 10. I imported the demo and I want to build the site on the demo. I’m starting to change the contents. However, there are Logo – Retina – Favicon Logos in NewsPaper – Theme Panel – Header section. I uploaded my logo (272 x 90px) (544 x 180px) I also uploaded my Retina logo. But I can’t see the logos. Likewise we have the logo from the ready on it. How do I change these logos? Help me! Please.

Just completed our Second attempt at updating to latest Theme Version received yesterday. Both times the end result was a disaster, requiring a roll-back to the last version. Not only did we deactivate all Plugins per your advice above and flushed all caches,etc. but we followed your advice here: “The best way to update the Newspaper Theme is to delete the current Newspaper Theme version and TagDiv Plugins and after that, you can install the new version. All the information (layouts, posts, etc) are set up in your database.
– Headers and Footers distorted
– Pages & Single Posts distorted,
– Etc. Etc.
This is the second time we’ve experienced this following a Theme update, forcing us to wait until another Theme update “fix” is released, as we’re confident that the problem is no on our end.
How should we proceed?

“To make the transition from 9.8 to Newspaper 10 with Cloud templates, you need to ensure you gradually and smoothly remove the dependencies. Please read this, don’t scan. Failing in removing dependencies prior to deactivating the Standard Pack will break your website.
If your website uses any of the templates present there, you must replace it with its equivalent from the tagDiv Cloud Library.
We’ve made it easy for you and recreated them. Every template from the theme panel already exists in the tagDiv Cloud Library. It should be easy to find the one that’s closer to your brand and import it on your website. Customize it using tagDiv Composer and assign it to replace the existing one.
You must find and replace templates until you’ve completed the process. Then simply deactivate the Standard Pack, and you are ready for speed and performance.”
Doesn’t that mean I can now go into the Home page in ‘Pages’ and my other pages in Cloud Templates and swap the current header, blocks etc with I guess ones from the Cloud Library? Like I said above, you guys really need a guide on how to do this properly. It’s a little confusing.

Hi, I am currently using Newspaper Version 9.8 and I am facing problems verifying Adsense. I have put Adsense verification code on the ‘header.php’ but the Adsense didn’t detect it. Moreover, I tried putting code on the Header Ads sections on the Theme Panel but it didn’t work as well. I have tried every possible way but still, it isn’t detecting the code. Is there any solution for this?
We changed the site’s demo to Default PRO yesterday, updated the theme panel to make things look like they were, etc., and then briefly deactivated the Standard Pack to see what it would look like. Below, you can see some screenshots of the Home page, an article page, and category page.
