Hello HoYeong Song,
I have added this to my header.php and the meta seems to be rendered here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/R0fJbRRXxl
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello mirko,
Please try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block;
}
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block !important;
text-align:center
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-weather-top-widget, .td-social-icon-wrap{
display:none;
}
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7aToRUOY2
Thanks.
Maybe you did not use the full image size and used a thumbnail instead
– https://www.screencast.com/t/graHsimAEo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/E0hQhKRetA
That would explain the low resolution results.
I see that you are trying to display a background image in the header, why not use the theme panel setting
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4oQnDoEngrzj
Also there are settings to stretch the header elements if needed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DHPJgT3Y2
Right now there is still code active – https://www.screencast.com/t/vespululs
Are you sure the Live CSS panel is empty because the code seems to be coming from there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XyRfaHUSAJ
Thanks
hello tagdiv. I have a question for edit header.php.
I added this code in header.php but isn’t work.
this is naver.com webmaster code for verification like google verification code.
<head>
<title><?php wp_title(‘|’, true, ‘right’); ?></title>
<meta charset=”<?php bloginfo( ‘charset’ );?>” />
<meta name=”naver-site-verification” content=”eaf0c9e49ad348b3e9260670b15fd8a70c964d70″/>
<meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0″>
<link rel=”pingback” href=”<?php bloginfo( ‘pingback_url’ ); ?>” />
<?php
wp_head(); /** we hook up in wp_booster @see td_wp_booster_functions::hook_wp_head */
?>
</head>
I’m not good at english 🙁 thank you!
Hi Simion,
Ok so I am still having difficulties. I don’t know what is happening here at all. I have tried to remove all possible CSS associated with the header as per last post –
I have deleted all possible CSS associated with this (I think) but it must be hiding somewhere. I checked 3 places 1. Live CSS, 2. Theme Panel Custom CSS, 3. Customizer CSS. When I use the google inspector tool it the CSS class is included in a file called (index):
This is what I am currently looking at https://snag.gy/8M16Oc.jpg
Everything was working ok expect for the background image CSS that wouldn’t go away (and still won’t)
This is the website – https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/
Anywhere else I should be looking?
Thanks
Shane
Hi,
The tagDiv composer and social counter will try to update automatically, there were improvements made in this matter. But still sometimes that process fails
– https://www.screencast.com/t/S5GY30rwom
The multi-purpose plugin was introduced in version 8.5
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mlkROV12BMu
When installed it used to add multi-purpose elements to the tagDiv composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wTF8xnOHYay
More options for row layouts – https://www.screencast.com/t/wTF8xnOHYay
More settings in the theme panel, like multi-purpose header styles and others
– https://www.screencast.com/t/rq0Ggj8WhSB8
The plugin (despite being provided in the 8.7.5 package due to an oversight) is no longer required and will not be provided anymore. It has been merged with the tagDiv composer. So now the tagDiv composer includes all the multi-purpose features.
This is a video where an about me page example is created, using multi-purpose elements
– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&index=5&list=PL6CsDkMaejhr2ExZCO73U11SSVKB9r_NE&t=25s
You can see multi-purpose demos created mostly with multi-purpose elements here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
Thanks
Hi Simion,
I have one last issue. There is an overlap with the header and where I have set the CSS as the background image. You will see exactly what I mean once u resize the browser and watch the header.
I have deleted all possible CSS associated with this (I think) but it must be hiding somewhere. I checked 3 places 1. Live CSS, 2. Theme Panel Custom CSS, 3. Customizer CSS
Anywhere else I should be looking?
This is the website – resize and you will see what I mean – https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/
Thanks

Hi,
i tried to add this
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block;
}
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block !important;
text-align:center
}
}
to show top menu in mobile, but with that code i have all the top header infos..(weather etc)
i need instead only the menu items
how to do that pls?
thank you
Hi,
But there would be no need to do something like that. For example header styles 9, 10 or 11 you can upload any logo size you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The image used will be resized automatically when viewing the website on different devices. This is a demo which uses header style 10 and a big logo image
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_cars/
You can see how the logo resizes, on an iPad device for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AvsiJGcL
Thanks
Hi,
The width row settings were introduced a while back, in an older theme version
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HlOpVgGl
Also the 10 full width big grids – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
And also the header and footer width settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Jws8bFx3HC1
What exactly are you trying to do and it is not working? I will try to help you.
That mobile issue may be caused by the browser used. Try the website on mobile Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera. These would be the main browsers supported by the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
1. You can set a header menu background in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jjVUjpgb8k7
2. Also for the top bar – https://www.screencast.com/t/mdTxhwAhzuz4
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
So you want the ticker below the header, like the cryptonews demo design. That can be easily done.
Place the row normally in the page, at the top. Then using the CSS tab set a negative margin to it (-48 would be right)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KQ2Hkclo47V
That is how the cryptonews does this as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vXWZBMr1
Hi,
I am trying to create a responsive header (logo banner).
I have created multiple dimensions of the image namely – 768 x 266 (for iPad dimensions)- https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Header-Background-with-Logo-768-x-276.jpg
And
1024 x 266 (as a second breakpoint)- https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Header-Background-with-Logo-1024-x-276.jpg
This is the CSS I used on both those image breakpoints. I hope you can understand what I am doing and I will provide my logins if you need to investigate further.
What I am trying to do is make the header as seamless (as possible) by using both those images.
CSS ——————————————————————————————————————–
@media only screen and (min-device-width: 768px) and (max-device-width: 1024px) {
.td-banner-wrap-full.td-logo-wrap-full.td-logo-mobile-loaded.td-container-wrap {
background-image: url(“https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/1024-cover-logo-the-childhood-life.png”) !important;
min-height: 276px !important;
min-width: 1024px !important;
background-size: cover;
background-position: 50% 80%;
}
}
@media only screen and (min-device-width: 768px) and (max-device-width: 769px) {
.td-banner-wrap-full.td-logo-wrap-full.td-logo-mobile-loaded.td-container-wrap {
background-image: url(“https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Header-Background-with-Logo-768-x-276.jpg”) !important;
min-height: 276px !important;
min-width: 768px !important;
}
}
Thanks
Shane
Hi
I need to add the Adsense code to the <head> area. I have already created a child theme. What is the best way of doing this – should I move header.php over to the child theme folder?
Thanks.
There are 2 area where I would like to change background color, but have not figured out how.
1. I am using header style 10, and would like to change the color underneath the menu.
2. I have turned on Top Bar style #3, how can I change the background color of that?
Thanks
Hi Simon,
yes, I am using “Page Builder” by Site Origins, but its still strange because I am using this builder on other websites too and there I can see the bullet lists without any issues :/
Can you please check now? I added the text as a bullet list, specifically the one under the header “ČOMU SA VENUJEME”
http://lepsiezakony.sk/o-nas/
thank you!

Hi,
I am trying to keep the mobile header using the Crafty Ideas demo install. I have made some CSS customization in the Theme Panel > Custom CSS section and using the Live CSS tool on the admin toolbar.
My header now appears black in iPad portrait dimensions like this – https://snag.gy/TiZJRN.jpg
But I want it looking like this – https://snag.gy/TwFNak.jpg
Thanks

Hi,
There are multiple header styles to choose from
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
Choose the one you like, if you want to modify something about the header please provide a link to your website. I can provide you with a code to center the menu items but it may not work for you. It is easier to inspect your website before.
Thanks
Hello bformhals,
If you want to change the hover color for the header menu you should change here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0gJl6oj8g If is not what you mean please tell me what exactly you want to achieve?
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Meta’s can be entered in the theme header file if you would like to try that, between the head tags
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6o06m6du
I vaguely remember other users who lost the likes after changing the website URL, they were unsuccessful. Maybe you can follow that guide and achieve it. Or maybe something like this
– https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/how-to-recover-facebook-likes-after-moving-to-httpsssl/
Thanks
Hi,
It seems that only the header is displayed, the rest is empty. Please check the theme requirements here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Re-install the latest version of the theme (8.7.5) by FTP, it is the most reliable method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Update the theme plugins manually if needed, the composer should update automatically but sometimes it fails
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N2UOiiKkdBDA
Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
You could edit the header template used, these are the files
– https://www.screencast.com/t/R3pd02n6rxm9
Try inserting your button code there and see how it looks. You may need to create additional design for it, for positioning maybe.
Or maybe create a custom link in the top menu, with an icon
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CjmmYSTkwlYs
– https://www.screencast.com/t/i1QKnfJG
Or maybe use a multi-purpose header style which can display buttons, and add the icon with CSS
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yE6Hk7e6sVO
Thanks
Hi,
The theme header templates are located here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EP2obR0bEAA
The multipurpose header styles are located in the multipurpose plugin (now part of the tagDiv composer)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lI5WRtyjID6
That website also seems to be using two header logos, that is not possible in out theme.
In those files you can make changes in terms of structure. You will also most likely need to create additional design for the modified header. Note that these header styles are predefined, so creating a replica of a different website header may not be easy to do.
Thanks
Hello teknolojisk,
You should try using the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-header-border:before {
background-color: red;
}
Thanks.
