Hey there,
This is for the very first time, I’m using the Newspaper theme. I’ve never faced Google analytics connection issues with my other sites. I’ve inserted the Gtag code properly in the Header.php section under <Head> ( pls, see here:https://prnt.sc/116hafs) on my site https://validstories.com/. I don’t see the code in the homepage source page also (see here: https://prnt.sc/116hfpu) Now the problem is Google Analytics is not connecting with my site. so, I’m not getting any traffic reports. What the issue?

Hello,

I think you referring to edit the footer with tagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned (from Cloud Library) and edit that page with tagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with tagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it.
If it is not what you mean, then please provide me with an example or maybe a screenshot with exactly what you need to achieve.

Thank you!

Indeed I found a fix on some forum, but not sure if it is ideal..

So, I’d really like to know what was your fix for it (as your mobile homepage does not have it, and thus something must have been done to it). Or was it a fluke?

Hello,

To change the colors you need to check when editing the homepage that a Raw CSS is set at the bottom of the image info box, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/84nKOl1qCy you need to select that row and open it => https://www.screencast.com/t/URTsvj1ps6 and here you can change the background color => https://www.screencast.com/t/ZDkstk6wT7k -> https://www.screencast.com/t/giDkD5qu43w and the color of the title you can change in the Image info box in the tab called “Style” => https://www.screencast.com/t/bdKzdBHFBm

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Thank you, but inserting that into the Custom CSS area made all my pages and homepage go completely blank white.

When I refreshed, you could see the page for a second, but then it would go to a blank white page.

After I took the code out, it went back to normal.

I am importing full demo “CORONAVIRUS MEDICINE PRO” and When I am going to delete some row from homepage which is unnecessary for me then getting error message “changeData Error: Element model id is not in $refEl data! Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”. So please provide me solution to complete my task.

Hello!

1. Edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer, access Website Manager click on Header -> Mobile Menu(you should be able to see your mobile version in Composer now), click on the header row and change the background color from the CSS tab of the row’s settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/DsMHjybIwX

2.1 Background image : https://www.screencast.com/t/x3Xrln2b88x

2.2 Check this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/1YmnrJ9PB3eO

Hope that helps you!

I have done that. Adcodes are working within the articles (Top, middle and bottom), but same ads not working on the sidebar. The ads are not showing up which I placed in the widgets area as well as the right columns I have used on the homepage as the sidebar.

Hello !

You can use this CSS Code that will work only for the homepage as wanted.

.page-id-72783,.tdb-breadcrumbs{
display:none;
}

The codes must be inserted in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/G4qVwC6G

Hello Sean!

It seems you use a responsive version of your desktop and not the Mobile Theme plugin.
For this mobile version there is no cookies there.
A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, then you need to deactivate Mobile Theme plugin, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
Check and let me know if you have a mobile page assigned to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

Thank you!

Hello!

It seems to be a stretch row there. Please edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer, click on that line and delete it(you should see a recycle basket there or try to drag & drop the row into the bottom of the page in the red area).

Thank you!

I am trying to get the breadcrumbs off of my main homepage, but when you add the breadcrumbs module, it becomes sitewide without any seeming way to limit it.

I tried an earlier suggestion from Jan 2021, but that didn’t work, and I’m assuming with the sweeping changes in the update, there might be a different approach now.

Any help/suggestions would be great.

Also, I have Yoast SEO breadcrumbs enabled (would that be causing an issue?)

Thank you,

Curt

How do you change the color of the title box in an Image Info Box? I can only figure out how to change the text color and background color of the entire element. This image shows our in-progress homepage, we’re trying to change the color behind “Investors” and the other 3 titles: Homepage in progress

Hello!

Please check in Website Manager which template is assigned for your mobile version: https://www.screencast.com/t/CuLw1PERB
If you created a mobile page, then also you need to assign it. Please check our guide from here to understand how exactly you can assign a mobile page to your homepage:
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.

Thank you!

Hello!

I checked your website and it seems you solved some issues.

For this error you can check our guide from here at point 5: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Also, try to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Please also check the page for special characters and remove them if they exists.

In order to edit the footer or header, you just need to access the homepage for example, edit with TagDiv Composer and you can customize there how you want from the element’s settings.

Thank you!

I tried this, but the theme was customized a little bit, it’s now my style, unfortunately, in the dashboard, there comes the new problem:
1.when I click the Cloud Templates(is this the tagDiv composer?), it shows like this=>https://imgur.com/a/KtWtADY#9lOaGon,when I choose the=>Attachment Template – Default PRO, it shows=>https://i.imgur.com/uKKtC5a.png, I still can’t see the banner on the homepage where it is=>https://i.imgur.com/NwPPynK.png, I’m trying to say is that in the tutorial, you are editing on the homepage, but I only can edit the=>Cloud Templates, how can I edit on my homepage? Where get I see the tagDiv Composer?
2.I also like to change the block title(Sorry, I don’t know what you call it.)=>here:https://i.imgur.com/oKnVc7t.png and the content it shows, cause they are the same right now.
Thank you so much for your kind help.
I’m eager to receive your feedback.
Thanks again.

Hi team – got an issue with Mobile Theme. We have it installed and working perfectly for Homepage, Categories and Posts. However we are having issues on Pages.

We have some pages like this one: https://www.deeperblue.com/beginners-guide-scuba-diving/ that on desktop work perfectly. When we have mobile theme installed it just shows a page with a header, title and footer with no content. We tried creating a mobile version of the page in TD Composer and crafted one specifically as a mobile template – but that doesn’t show properly: https://www.deeperblue.com/the-beginners-guide-to-scuba-diving-mobile/

How do we get the right content to display on mobile with Mobile Theme installed?

Thanks,

Stephan

When I open the website, the mobile Chrome browser opens the desktop version logo, and clicking on it opens an image, not the homepage. Everything is normal in mobile Opera browser.

I have imported the template but when I load the site from mobile it still loads from the default mobile theme instead from the imported template. At “Mobile page” says “Homepage Mobile – Lifestyle PRO” yet it loads the default. What am I missing?
