I know how to update the theme. The problem is that some elements or plugins of Newspaper 8.7 are not present on Newspaper 10.
For instance the footer settings are completely changed. In version 10 there are some cloud settings or something… Because of that my current footer destroyed.
My homepage that I built years ago after update also look terrible, seems like shortcodes that I used no longer works on new theme…
Is there a safe way to do update?
Please assist.

I tried this, but the theme was customized a little bit, it’s now my style, unfortunately, in the dashboard, there comes the new problem:
1.when I click the Cloud Templates(is this the tagDiv composer?),it show like this=>https://imgur.com/a/KtWtADY#9lOaGon,when I choose the=>Attachment Template – Default PRO, it shows=>https://i.imgur.com/uKKtC5a.png, I still can’t see the banner on the homepage where it is=>https://i.imgur.com/NwPPynK.png, I’m trying so say is that in the tutorial, you are editing on the homepage, but I only can edit the=>Cloud Templates, how can I edit on my homepage? Where get I see the tagDiv Composer?
2.I also like to change the block title(Sorry,I don’t know you call it.)=>here:https://i.imgur.com/oKnVc7t.png and the content it shows, cause they are the same right now.

You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it, add elements and personal information there too.

The templates of Classic Blog Pro can be edited with TagDiv Composer plugin (documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/). When you edit the homepage you can build the design same as in Classic Blog. You can delete elements which you don’t want on the page and insert there the element called “widget sidebar”, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/

Hi Team, I have implemented Google admanager codes for my website which were working fine on older version of Newspaper theme. But when I am implementing the same adcodes on new version, the homepage is bricking after the insertion of adcodes. Means my sidebar is shifting to left and TD composer blocks are getting bigger.

If you check the title of each article, they use an h3 tag, like <h3>article title</h3>. I would like to change them into <h2>article title</h2> in order to structure the page better.

My website using default mobile theme redirect google desktop results to mobile theme, which is very big bug and I need to fix it as soon as I can.

I’m the developer for the site neworleansmom.com, redstickmom.com, and thelafayettemom.com, and there are issues on the homepage with the latest articles not refreshing/updating. The team will see variously different articles as the “latest” with varying dates/times. Today i’ve installed the last update of Newspaper Theme Version: 10.4
After the complete installation of the theme, the YOAST SEO Plugin doesn’t work properly.
So, for the homepage i have a title insterted for the <title> tag and in the source code it shows the old <title> tag that was inserted.
Note that i didn’t made any updates for the YOAST SEO plugin.
Can you please check if there are any conflincts in the last update?

I am able to edit homepage with tagdiv composer but not with post page.
After upgrading to version 10.4, my homepage lost all of its original settings and I had to completely revamp the look of the homepage. During the repair process, I encountered a very annoying error, which was a Vietnamese font error when writing HTML code

on my homepage, I have a block for temporary content.
I created a category for this kind of post content. And I add a block filtering only this category.
But when there is no post attached, the block title is displayed without any content below.
How can I make display this block (title and posts) when not empty only?

When I write a post and use any image inside it, it shows perfectly okay every time I click on the post. But when this post gets listed on the home page the inside image is not showing as post image homepage along with the title of that article.

The H tags are usually divided on the homepage and category pages between the single H1 and multiple H3 tags for each post title. How can I get H2s instead of H3s on those titles?

Normally, when you click on author name, you should be redirect to author page.
For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin, if they are author links will be redirected to the homepage. Check if that is the case: http://prntscr.com/mbwwuk after that clear all cache, purge CDN(if you are using) and check the results.

I have fixed the issue on desktop. Also mobile homepage works to… only problem is i try to edit mobile page with tagdiv composer and when i set header template “global” it doesnt affect on mobile. when i check pages,posts on mobile its pre-edit version. my site: neneden.co

If you activated the mobile theme plugin, then your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH ) also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple).
If you want to have the responsive version you can disable the mobile theme plugin on that homepage from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
