From what I can see you do not have a static front page that you can create in Visual composer, and place the Revolution slider on that page. You must create a page with the elements you want and set it as homepage

Hello,
I am attempting to remove the comments from the homepage of my blog and went on theme panel to deactivate the comment count but still there appears a comment box at the bottom of my page. I tried editing the page as well but there is no comment widget added so I’m not sure through which method I am supposed to deactivate it. Please let me know how, thank you!

The blocks are created to display posts. When you click on a featured image for example in the Big grid, you will be taken to the post page. There is no option to open a lightbox gallery from within the post content, when clicking on the Big grid. You will have to think of a different way to display a gallery on the homepage using the available page building elements.

In that case you could do it like this, using some css. First enter a code that will hide all the post author names on all the blocks in the homepage, the enable it on just that particular block

In your case should be like this, the code will apply only for the homepage, if you want it to apply everywhere just remove the home class from the code. You must enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css section.

the full grid on home page is different than the SAME full grid type in the category
the aspect ratio is different and there are gaps at both left and right edges of the home page grid
here is a comparison I made in photoshop…
this example is a full grid 4. when you use a full grid 3 in both homepage and category, the differences are even more noticable…

I started my website a couple weeks ago (www.raquetc.com) and I was wondering if it’s possible to *not* show a post in the big slider right after the page menu. Sometimes we publish an article that we want to have in the homepage but not in the slider…
First we thought we just had to ignore the “Featured” category, but then we found out that even if we don’t click it, they’ll stay in the slide (browser version) — and that they’re only out of the mobile slider.
Can you please help me? 🙂

how can I remove the category, comment count and author from the post on the homepage?
I’m trying to add this feature to the Big Grid on the homepage. This means I need to do

where get_the_time('U') needs to be replaced with the post DateTime for each post. Right now this string comes from
<?php echo $this->get_date();?>
But this returns <span class="td-post-date"><time class="entry-date updated td-module-date" datetime="2016-03-01T00:04:01+00:00" >March 1, 2016</time></span> instead of just a date.
Is there a straightforward way to grab the date from $this->get_date(); so it can be used inside the <?php echo human_time_diff( get_the_time('U'), current_time('timestamp') ) . ' ago'; ?> function?

I have inspected your images and I saw that you are referring to the homepage and post page, right? So, on the homepage, you simply add your Ad Box where exactly you want to have the ad and on the post page, if you want that your Ad to appear at the very top of you page, you should edit the theme core files and inject there a shortcode of your desired ad, using the do_shotrcode method. For example, if you are using the post template style 1 you should edit the loop-single-1.php core file like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qf0ylvghB

Ok thanks for the reply the issue is resolved. Here comes another one. I cannot change the SHARING buttons such as Facebook Twitter and YouTube. This is part of the demo version which WordPress designed for me. I have been able to change all things on the Homepage except these social networks button.
