First off, thank you for this amazing theme.
On my homepage I have the Homepage post block inserted through visual composer and it looks amazing.
I was wondering if its possible to have a read more button appear below the subtitle on the homepage? I was able to manually add the button by adding it to the subtitle input on the post but the problem is it shows the read more button on the post page.
I’d like to be able to have a read more button below the post subtitle on the homepage only for the featured post that uses the homepage post widget.

I have installed the Newspaper demo on my local computer but the homapage body is empty. no footer, only top menu, main and logo is showing
Please how do correct this?
I’ve been battling this problem all day with the social counter widget added via JS composer on my homepage………… It wasn’t until I added the facebook details into a widget to be used in another page sidebar that the facebook details magically started working in both widgets.
Maybe it was a coincidence? But I’m relived it’s working 🙂

I have checked my website SEO on “quixapp” site, and a red advertisement like this appears to me:
“This page’s canonical link element points to another page, which might prevent this page from showing up in the rankings”
First of all, I have asked to google support forum and someone have answered me that this mistake happens because the canonic URL includes “/” and my homepage doesn´t include it. All URLs of my website includes that bar, so I should revise the configuration, he said.
I understand that probably is not a question related with Newspaper theme, but he suggested that I must check setting template, permalinks and Seo By Yoast, which I use, recommended by your tutorials.
It´s a problem that I am really worry about.

I have checked your site but did not found any issues on homepage. As you said that some thumbnails are not loaded on modules but all the thumbs are loaded on your homepage and also I have checked your console for errors but did not found any(even if you said that the images are not missing, they are just unloaded), so I’m not sure where I should look or what suggestion to give you if I don;t see the problem. You could test this also with wp default theme and see how it works.
If you still get this issues please provide more specific details via email at contact@tagdiv and we will take a look but if we don’t see the problem we cannot make any suggestions. Also paste a link to this topic if you send the email.

I’m not really sure what you are trying to do. Do you want to display latest articles after the pagebuilder content? If you do you can set Pagabuilder with Latest Articles template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ You can control the latest articles section from page settings – http://screencast.com/t/nO73WuxSqgU

I purchased the newspaper theme recently. I am currently working on my test subdomain. I am trying to make a home page using the default theme template and i am facing a strange issue. If i add more then one “block 1” content to the homepage and publish it, i am just getting a blank page. Whereas if i am using only one “block 1” content then all seems OK.
What could be causing the issue? I need to fix this before i update all the changes on my live site.
How do I remove the yellow box that the date sites in? or change the colour of it?
I am using Block18 on the posts section on my homepage and the date is now appearing in a yellow box after I installed the theme.

I’m considering changing themes to Newspaper, I have purchased and installed the theme and required plugins and demo content onto dev server http://128.199.171.193/.
Unfortunately I’m just getting a white screen when I try to hit the home page http://128.199.171.193/, I’m not really sure what I have done wrong, but I’d like to try to sort this myself without involving my dev because at this stage I’m just testing it out.

If you want to add the Slider in your homepage, you have to use Visual Composer the Slider element and insert it into your page, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/HeO2mR7wd

When I tried to install Classic Blog demo after uninstalling Newspaper default demo, it failed saying some Server error. The same thing happened while installing another Demo also, so I removed the whole wordpress installation and installed on another directory. Correct! It is not necessary to set a background image to use the above code. If you want to add this code for another category, you have to replace only the ID number with the category number for that category.
Notice -> you must have the same category template number 6

I have checked your mobile menu on homepage – http://screencast.com/t/zd9ZacyJJi but did not found any issue but on article page it seems that the menu button link is affected – http://screencast.com/t/72VnzE4Mt I suspect that it comes from a script that you use or it is added by a plugin- http://screencast.com/t/dNrLlglwyQP Please disable all the plugins except Visual Composer, clear all the cache, purge your files and remove any custom modifications that could cause this and see if you still have this issue. I could not found any issue on mobile menu, also you can try to do a clean theme install on a subdomain or local and test it only whit the plugins provided with the theme and without any custom modifications and check it.

My homepage does not load automatically when you visit my website. You only see a list of all my articles but the the already set home page which is at http://www.nafric.com/home. When I visit my website at http://www.nafric.com, I see only a list of all my previous articles which is totally different from http://www.nafric.com/home where you have all the customization of a home. I’d really like to “pin” a featured post (actually a particular category of post) to a specific location in the grid layout … in this example, I’d like to have the “Featured Property” always appear in the lower right corner.
How may I accomplish this?

Hi, I’m sure this is really simple to do but I have searched and cannot find out how.
I want to set a featured image so that it appears in the post preview on the Homepage, however I don’t want it to actually appear at the top of my post/article.
The only way around it I have found is when creating a page you a article format, Standard or Video. If you set video the featured image doesn’t appear at the top of the article, however a play symbol unfortunately appears on the post preview image on the homepage.
How do stop a featured image appearing in the post article?

If you want to deactivate the last article in homepage you have to use another page template (default or pagebuilder+page title). You have control over these settings from your page set up, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/nNxniWXm
