We dont know how bud the images are back and we did notting to the site, but ist the seccond time it happend after an theme update. The firste time we endid up remaking the homepage (we have a back-up tool for the page. And that worked
I’ve had the same issue – can’t work out how to fix it so far. Not just on homepage, but all pages. I have regenerated thumbnails, but that hasn’t helped.

Thank you both for your answers. Well, homepage is created, but I get some problems still to have it working as it should. And I did check all links you give, and by the way all videos given in tutorial videos on youtube.

To built a homepage you need to use Visual Composer Plugin, which comes with the theme, so make sure you have it installed. With that plugin you can insert blocks, grids, widgets etc: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

I ran my page through googles structured data validator. It returned 30 validation errors, all for posts on the sidebar. I then decided to run it on the homepage and got 124 validation errors. All of the Article rich snippets are missing a headline and dataPublished. These fields are required, yet are not present and google doesnt like it. Is there a way for me to add these fields

Well, beginning to discover the theme since some days, I find really difficult to do some things and mastering it…So, trying some things and searching solutions, I get some questions, hopping someone will be able to help me.

And now, here are my questions :
1) where to put the [rev_slider Home] code, in order to have the slider ? Because in widgets there are only newspaper default (which seems to be the slidebar ?) + footer
2) Article show in the position (type blog 19), but there is no picture with it : where can I choose a picture for it ?
3) Is it possible to modify the size of the slider in the revolution slider options ? Cause I did not find it
4) The slider does not show anything ; but I get like 9 articles, and all categories are selected in the slider options. Any idea ?
5) How to remove the two words in top left corner of the “homepage block” (in case it is useful to keep it) ?
6) Why the block talking about social medias is only showing “td_block_social_counter custom_title= »STAY CONNECTED » facebook= »envato » twitter= »envato » youtube= »envato »” and not links ?
7) What is supposed to be the “homepage post” block ? Cause it appears like it was a slider (without content for me, by the way)

You need to use the Homepage with article list. To add content after the pagination you need to add it manually in page template php using do_shortcode https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/ and add your content created from VC.

Seems like the visual composer add that record for each post and page that you have. You have 10k posts? I’ve deleted a registration for my homepage and the homepage works fine, if you want to delete them, you can make a database backup and delete them.

Everytime i install your theme and i make a homepage it goes to latest articles instead of whatthe home page showing like in your demo even if i change in settings.
and the next tab is the one which then starts showing the settings i made for the home page whats going on. its really wasting my time instead of just displaying the homepage. ive created abt 4 homepages now.

If you want you can update to latest version 6.3.1. Also you need to regenerate your thumbnails, now your images are full on your homepage and need to be cropped. Use AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild plugin to solve this.

I would like to use the output of a category page on the homepage, including the page navigation.
I’m trying to get the effect of the “Homepage with article list” template, but in the “Homepage blank” template because I want to have something before and after the article list.

I´ve read your documentation and look it up online an there is nothing about my problem. When I am trying to create my homepage with visual composer i do not have any themes to upload so i can not costumize my homepage, i do not know if i did anything wrong with the install. I have themes in the other cap of default templates but i select one and it does not take effect. Please help and thank you
I don’t think I explained myself properly.
I cannot control excerpts from Theme Panel because unfortunately for the last few years I have been writing excerpts via the WordPress facility. Now I have discovered that they are too long for this theme, as you can see in this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/cMu09dXshzH.
I need a way to automatically shorten my excerpts on the homepage. I have recreated your default demo so I am using quite a lot of blocks. My problem is where to add the code.
I had the same problem in the categories page but I added this code to M16 and it resolved the issue:
