The “Sidebar Elements scrolls” can be set using those options: Smart sidebar and sticky sidebars, but if you are using the infinite loading option, the smart sidebar will work only on the first post.

I have a blog with newspaper them on it. The infinite scroll option is enabled and the next pages are properly being loaded by the theme but when I visit the second post or the next ones, the URL remains the same as the first post.
This was not the problem a few days back but recently, I’ve been facing this issue. Can someone please suggest me how to solve this?

The url for the post is not changing when I’m scrolling down to the next page.
Infinite load seems to be working and I’m able to scroll down to the next article, but the url is still showing the previous page I landed.

Things I’ve tried already:
1. Deactivating all other plugins
2. Cleared Cloudflare cache and switched to development mode.
3. Rolled back Newspaper to older version.

That can be disabled. Edit the post template with the composer and disable it. For example, from a post page these are the steps

Most newer demos have infinite load active for posts, but that can be disabled if it is not needed. Please try it.

I said in my reply to Calin above that his advice had fixed my problem. But I’ve now discovered that the same solution does not work with the mobile version of the same category 1 template.
I made certain that the box that hides the row with pagination is not ticked.
I set the post loop to limit post number to six.
If I set pagination type to “Normal numbered,” I have the same problem that I detailed in my original post on any page after page one. Pages 2 and above are hidden. On the normal full page template with the same exact settings, pagination works fine.
I set pagination type on the mobile template to infinite or load more, etc., everything works fine. But numbered pagination is hiding pages after page 1, even with the hide row on pagination unchecked.
Is there something different about the mobile version that normal numbered pagination will not work?

I read all these, but come on, I’m not talking about page speed, I’m not talking about big images, css files etc. The theme makes too many requests to the server, it requires too many power and if I knew it was so I would have not upgraded to version 10.
Your themeforest page said the version 10 was better, and it is not at all. I bought the theme for all those good things like ajax loads, infinite post scroll etc but now you are saying to me “Do you see how many beautiful things you can do with my theme? Great, but sorry if you want your site keep alive online disable everything! Hi Calin, after acquiring the right permissions, the theme is now updated to 4.9.5 using method B! Most, but not all things have migrated over, save the fact that preserving the settings key didn’t actually do anything, but it’s still magnitudes better than what was before.
There still one glaring issue, which started this whole thing. tagDiv Composer still loads infinitely, even with updating all of the plugins as suggested from your link, and with your new patches.
In the developer-mode console when trying to use the composer, this error is prevalent:

Hi Calin! Boy, I showed up to the topic I almost posted about!
I was hired to make changes to the frontend and solve editing issues, but I have the exact same problem by going into developer mode and noticed the JQuery is a little deprecated, so I enabled Migrate Helper and started to work on fixes. I also found out despite any of that, the Theme itself is meant to automatically update and is trapped in v4.5 and not v4.9.5, so it’s missed a few runs.
I also deleted tagDiv and reinstalled it, it’s stuck in the same infinite load… now I am here!
How do I bring our theme to the future?

Question: to implement it, their implementation guide explains that you need to place their shortcode within ‘do_shortcode’ method as explained here: https://connekthq.com/plugins/ajax-load-more/add-ons/next-page/#implementation-2
This plugin allows you to have infinite scroll within a single post with multiple page break so that the user doesn’t need to click next or select another page from the pagination, but rather the page auto-load it as you scroll. (they also added another feature that allows to not even using page break but simply their plugin would convert every H2 automatically to page break)
Where do I need to place this code within the Newspaper themes, as the files that the theme is using are not standard? if you could help that would be great.
Request(Q): when would you have this feature (or maybe you do and I just don’t know how to make it in your theme)
