Hello edivaldobrito,
Do you are referring to the Infinite loading at the homepage? You should use a block with more posts and add it load more pagination from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rCDA1LUSc7yu
Thanks for the message!
Hello friends, from yesterday to today TagDiv Composer stopped working suddenly for no reason.
When you try to edit any page or even a new page, it tries to load, however it enters infinite loading, without opening the visual composer editor blocks.
In the inspect Chrome browser console function, the following error appears:
x Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘next’ of undefined

Remember that I tried everything, accessed through several browsers, disabled all the plugins and even tried to go back to the previous version of Newspaper, but nothing worked.
The only thing different that I remember doing yesterday, before the problem, was to test the new function to save sections (shortcodes, rows) the templates, to use them on other pages. However, I do not know if this may have influenced the error.
I hope you find the fault.
Thank you!
i’ve created this new post
but i’ve got the same problem in an older post :
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tag-div-composer-infinite-load-since-update-from-8-5-1-to-8-6-today/#new-post
SINCE
i’ve tried to switch to main-theme and :
.disable/delete TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.6 file
.downgrade WP 4.9.1 to 4.9
.install TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5.1 file
.clear cache (wp super cache)
.disable/delete TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5.1 file
.downgrade WP 4.9 to 4.8.4
.install TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5 file
.clear cache (wp super cache)
= all this manipulations = no change
BUT, from there (WP 4.8.4 + TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5 file)
i’ve just upgraded WP 4.8.4 to 4.9.1
(without disable/delete & reinstall TD-Composer)
and at this moment, TD-Composer works again !!!
i said to myself “great, i succeed’ and decide to touch anything anymore
i was able to make some changes with TD-Composer
and close it after, normally
after hours using my WP for my website
(i didn’t install or remove any plugins or whatelse during this time)
i just decide by curiosity to launch TD-Composer (clearing cache before)
and there TD-Composer collapse again, infinite load, etc..
from there, i just tried to :
disable/delete/re install TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5 file
(clear cache)
and TD-Composer works again, until now
I don’t understand what happens, all i constat it’s all my WP is very very slow after using hours (because of my subscription on my provider, that’s ok) but TD-Composer too since upgrade to 8.6, i can’t explain it. All my ‘Newspaper system status’ is green with 128mb/request of WP Memory Limit.
when i click on ‘Edit with TD composer”
= always infinite load
with loading circle in the middle of the screen
impossible to access to the display of the menu,
the screen stay always blank and loading.
but when i move the mouse on screen,
like if i saw the menu, all the buttons are there,
but i can’t see them,
i know it because i only see the popups of the menu
when i move the mouse on this zone
and when i click on :
“Close the composer and switch to backend”
the screen change to dark gray color
now the circle is inside a turning blank cube
when i examine the component, it’s in fact the question :
“Are you sure you want to close tagDiv Composer?”
I choose “Yes” on the left zone side
and there i return to the normal windows of my WP Page,
without any bug
If i choose “No”, i return to the infinite loading blank screen of TD Composer
So, when i look at the source code of this infinite loading blank screen of TD Composer,
i see a unique red line :
</head>
<body class="wp-admin wp-core-ui no-js tdc td-theme-Newspaper post-php auto-fold admin-bar post-type-post branch-4-9 version-4-9-1 admin-color-fresh locale-fr-fr no-customize-support no-svg">
does it mean something for you ?
Hello cemmildon,
Unfortunately, the infinite scrolling on posts is not available in our theme. We do not have a plan on adding this yet as we have not found an easy method of implementation for it at the moment but in future, it’s possible to implement something else.
Please check this link, here is detailed a possible implementation:: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/implement-infinite-scroll-on-single-posts/ If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard and if you want to develop the theme in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi, I need to infinite scroll for my posts. I tried many plugins for this they didn’t work. What is your opinion about it ? It is important for our news website.
How to make the page scroll clicked to the next page. But it is not infinite scrolling on Ajax. Right go to the next page.
Hi,
At the moment infinite scrolling for posts is not available in the theme. Maybe this feature will be available in future updates, but I cannot say for sure.
Thanks
Same issue, same block 12, same ‘load more’.
To replicate the issue:
Install wordpress, theme, visual composer and other required plugins.
Insert at least 10 posts or w/e.
Try block 12 with load more or infinite loading, or w/e.
It will duplicate 1st next post after ‘load more’ or w/e you use.
Hello,
The block pagination will show up if you have more posts to show. If for example you add a block 11 and have it show 5 posts, the rest of the posts from that particular filtering will be loaded in an infinite loading way. This type of pagination is best kept for the bottom blocks of your page. If you do not have more than 5 posts to show in that block based on your post filter, then no pagination will show up .
Thank you!
Hi,
when I add a block title and text with TD Composer and click on edit content appear a window with infinite preloading

I have a block on the homepage which is set to use infinite load but stop at 72 (6 loads). The shortcode:
[td_block_3 category_ids="34,37,36,33,74,38,49,30,53,42,50,51,40,41,39,31,32,10466,10468,10999" installed_post_types="post" limit="12" block_template_id="" custom_title="Latest Articles" ajax_pagination="infinite" ajax_pagination_infinite_stop="72"]
The infinite load never stops. You can check the page here: http://gnn.to/temptagdiv
Can we fix this? We need people to be able to get to the footer but want the infinite load working.
Hi IamLegend,
Are you talking about this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-load-more/ ? Does it work out of box or do we need to do some extra settings inside?
Also, Can you please tell me whether you think that the issue of infinite loading for high traffic site is only with this plugin or you are talking about otherwise as well. I mean, how do you see the impact on speed due to infinite loading or ‘Auto load next post’ on sites using ‘Jnews’ ( Demo here )or ‘Publisher’ theme ( Demo here ) functionality?
Thank you.
I just noticed that one of my original newspaper websites was not updated for ages. In fact it was running verion 4.6.x So I knew I had to start over completely. So I renamed the themefolder to .newspaper and re-uploaded the latest version.
Unfortunately there are a lot of inconsistencies on the homepage and menu’s.

Is this salvageable?
[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_slide_big limit=”8″ sort=”popular”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][td_block1 category_id=”6″ limit=”5″ header_color=”#81d742″][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id="td-homepage"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block2 limit=”1″ category_id=”5″ header_color=”#e74c3c”][td_block4 limit=”2″ ajax_pagination=”load_more” hide_title=”hide_title” category_id=”5″ offset=”1″][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block2 limit=”1″ category_id=”7″ header_color=”#00aef5″][td_block4 limit=”3″ ajax_pagination=”load_more” hide_title=”hide_title” category_id=”7″ offset=”1″][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block2 limit=”1″ category_id=”8″ header_color=”#f39c12″][td_block4 limit=”3″ ajax_pagination=”load_more” hide_title=”hide_title” category_id=”8″ offset=”1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_block6 limit=”5″ header_color=”#444444″ custom_title=”Latest posts” ajax_pagination=”infinite” ajax_pagination_infinite_stop=”1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Or do I need to completely recreate the homepage and broken menu items?
“infinite scroll” of home page elements to load ‘more news items’ is not the same as ajax loading entirely new posts infinitely from bottom of a post page. Theme has had that for loooooong time.
Hello,
Sorry but there is no simple solution that can be provided through the theme support If there was a simple solution, it would be already part of the theme. Due to the way the theme was built there is no simple and viable way of implementing the infinite loading posts. We are aware this is one of the most requested elements but unfortunately we have not found a proper solution for it yet.
Thank you for your understanding
Hi,
The tag pages pagination cannot be changed, there are no options for infinite loading pagination on tag pages.
The number of posts displayed are directly related to the number set here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kpBJh6MGjF
Thanks
Why only apears 10 post in a tag list?. Is not posible “infinite loading” or mores than 10 post?
Hello morebusiness,
Sorry but the theme does not allow you to make an infinite scroll for Woocommerce page products, sorry! Only available type pagination for this kind of page is numeric pagination, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SKAc517MtnVN
The mega menu has not been designed to display the shop pages but only our posts and default pages.
If you want to hide the ads for the Woocommerce page you should use a bit of CSS code for this and target your page desired by page ID.
Notice that our theme has the own sign in/login functionality and does not use the Woocoemmerce’s functionality in this case. The Woocommerce log in should be applied only for Woocommerce elements. You should check the plugin’s documentation here -> https://docs.woocommerce.com/?s=login&post_type=documentation&search_in=3
If you do not like the design of it you should create your own style using a bit of CSS code but notice that it have to do by yourself because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Check the plugin’s settings to enable or disable all of the specific plugin’s elements, sorry!
Sorry but that question regarding on Google Translate is not theme related! If you want to know how this can be done, please google it. As a hint, you can take a closer look at this tutorial -> http://nationbuilder.com/google_translate_widget
Sorry but please notice that the standard position of social sharing networks cannot be changed very easy because the theme layout will be damaged, sorry!
.td-default-sharing .td-social-sharing-buttons {
border: 1px solid #ebebeb;
border-radius: 20px;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/R5eWwNSa
I guess that you are using the Footer template style 1 which comes by default with these widgets. If you want to change the content of it notice that you can do this only by the code. So, if you want to create your own Footer template style, I recommend you to use the Footer template style 5 according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Notice that the Editor Picks is just a simple block style 7 sorted by some default parameters as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/me51SX6Vj6h
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello, I just purchased this theme after getting positive replies to my pre-sales questions on Envanto. After trying to set up the theme to replace our current one, I’ve come across several issues that I can’t figure out. These are blockers to our porting our site to Newspaper8.
How do I set up infinite scroll for WooCommerce products pages, including the main /shop page and product category pages?
How can I set up the Shop page as a mega menu item showing featured products (and a “more products” option) in the main menu bar?
How can I make ALL WooCommerce pages have a different sidebar than the main posts pages? The Theme Panel only seems to allow 2 WooCommerce pages to use the WooCommerce sidebar. Example: Checkout shows the default sidebar, not the WooCommerce one.
How can I disable ads from being displayed on the WooCommerce pages?
Will the WooCommerce social login extension work for only the WooCommerce section or all other actions that require a login, such as posting comments?
The styling for the WooCommerce pages does not look very attractive. The buttons from your Default Theme are black, not blue like the Read More buttons on the posts. How do I change the WooCommerce buttons and product category/tag text colors?
How do I set up infinite load on the WooCommerce product (main shop and product category) pages like we can do for the post categories?
How can I disable the More Stories bottom right popup on WooCommerce pages?
Some other questions:
How can I put the Google translate widget into the very top menu bar? And can I preset it to only show certain languages?
How can I change the shape and position of the social media share icons from boxes below the article headline to sticky circles on the left side (in the background outside the boxed section)?
How can I change the default content in the 3 footer blocks from your Default Theme (currently Editors Picks, Popular Posts and Popular Category)?
How are Editors Picks selected?
Hello,
i want add infinite scroll in my post page.
How i add this?
thank you…
Hello majorfuss,
2)Please notice that if you setup your Category Page with Infinite load+Load more pagination as pagination type, the Load more button will appear after 3 loaded pages because this is the limit set up by default in our theme. You can change the limit post number for one-page loading from Readin section, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lI2X3hBz22gp Here is just an example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CfY45XJ7Ev
3)Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do that, sorry! You can change the background color for this button only for the entire website.
6)Sorry but the theme does not have any such an option for this!
Thanks for your understanding!
2. I added 10 more posts to Music, but the “Load more” button still wouldn’t appear. The posts only had infinite loading. Perhaps this is a bug?
3. I want to change the main menu background colour for “MUSIC”, but only on all Music posts.
This is a mock-up of what I want: https://snag.gy/lYRmj1.jpg
6. I turned off Breadcrumbs’ Show Article Title in the Theme Panel here https://snag.gy/FrZhlJ.jpg
As a result, my posts don’t have an article title in the breadcrumbs, which I like http://majorfuss.com/music/news/sampha-mercury-prize-winner-2017/
But, this means the Parent Category in the breadcrumbs now doesn’t link to anything. Is there CSS I can use which makes it link to the parent category?
Hello majorfuss,
2)If you will use the Infinite scroll+Load More you will see that the Load More button will appear on you frontend after some few posts.
3)With above code, notice that you can change the main menu background color, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/f0TQMMya8rM if is not what you mean, please provide more details or some useful screenshots.
4)Sorry, but please notice that is the default theme behavior. You should optimize your images for a fast loading of theme and this thing depends only on your coding skills and not theme related, sorry!
6)I have inspected your website and I saw that your breadcrumbs structure is not good on your side. It should look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/UffEvsYffmcK Try to disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello SW1988,
If you want the infinite scroll for the page, notice that you can achieve something like this from Block Pagination, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ (check the block pagination section) Also, if you want the infinite scroll for post pages, the theme does not have any such an option for it, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
