Hi, I have an odd problem with the google adwsense code. Ads are being displayed on Firefox & Chrome but not Safari. I don’t have any kind of ad blocker installed. Thanks so much! I didn’t realize I could install the plugins from that theme area. The issue is OBVIOUSLY with the VC plugin, and I’ve reached out to them for help. The 4.9 that is bundled with Newspaper has a bug as well as the 4.10 standalone version they’re selling. Once I upgraded to either of these versions my grid is gone and everything is one long column.

I have installed the Chorme Cast extention, which got rid of all the jscript errors on the console. I don’t thinks that’s the issue.
This is a production site, I am not willing to take all the plugins offline to try your solution. To be honest, I’ll forgo having a link to a search page. But I’m not too happy about it.

Unfortunately as the other version was definitely a pirated one (there is no free version of the theme), the code could have been altered so the best thing to do is to reset your database using the wp-reset https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/ and delete your old wordpress instalation just to be on the safe side. Then you need to start over with a fresh database and fresh wp-install.

2) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.6.5 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
3)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:

Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours.
Once you followed all the above steps properly and made sure you have not missed anything, (and the social counter still does not work), then you can send an email to contact@tagdiv.com with your login information so we can further inspect the issue.

I suspect this issue comes from the interference between your untested plugins and our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please try this advice and see after if your problem is still there and if the theme’s behaviour persists in this case.

This usually happens because of lazy load animation which’s script conflict with one of your installed plugins. Try to deactivate the animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/YfRwIXkEWam7 clear all caches and test again. Also you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and check if the problem is still there.

I was having issues with my visual composer plugin so I followed instructions by Emil G to update the plugin. At which point it screwed up the columns and row grid I had established. Then when trying to get support from Visual Composer they said I should contact you guys.
The issue is because there is an inbuilt version of Visual Composer (or the related code) present in your theme which is overriding the standalone plugin. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Kindly check.
How can I fully delete the plugin and then reinstall it?

im not sure whether it is the same issue.
this happened to me after i installed the wp super cache plugin.
after i found out this problem, the plugin actually cache the hits..
u can modify it from there. it says something like hit count cache. then untick.
after the untick you will get the same flow of hit counter that u used to get.

I have a big concern regarding the theme…being a “genius” I’ve installed a version of Newspaper6 available for free online, so that I can check it out and see if I like it or not before I purchase it. I decided that I love it so I went ahead on themeforest and purchased the theme and started working on my site. I’ve deleted the old one and installed the new, original one. I am concerned for the safety of my site…in case maybe something is still running in the background. I’ve scanned everything for malaware and nothing came up. I know I was retarded not to test the dummy theme on my localhost, but i was too lazy to set it up.

i finaly found the problem, your theme is not compatible with this plugin (simple tags) : https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/simple-tags/
it’s a problem , for me and i think for all +100 000 people have that plugin installed 🙂

Hi i have same problem. I have installed only wp super cache plugin. please help me. I have deactivated all plugins, i have done all the things that Prezla have done but nothing happened. My vps server meets all the requirements and newspaper theme has the latest plugins installed and its latest version of the theme.
Social counter stopped working (not updating Fb count) a few days ago. I deleted the plugin and installed it again (a few times) but it’s not updating Facebook count – now it’s showing zero. It doesn’t work with other Facebook IDs either.

I cannot instal the theme, when I try to upload it on wordpress using the Newspaper-tf > Newspaper.zip file a “bad request your browser sent a request that this server could not understand” message shows up.
