If you have install add your custom ad options then I think you have to use some plugin. I dont see any option to add more then 5 custom ads.
@developers Suggestion it will good to add/create our own ads like sidebars.

I did everything and it seems to be fine.. Now my only question is regarding installing the demo.. If i install the demo as is (to mimic the newsmag site) how can i make it look like the newsmag site? Where can find i image sizes etc.

I need to upgrade from version: 6.3.2 to 6.6.4.
How do i do this easily without affecting the all customization i’ve done to my theme already?
is the upgrade worth doing? is it important?
is there a way you can provide me the changelog showing which files were changes/added/removed? so i can easily replace or update specific files, because when installed the new version over my old one it totally messed up my customization, so i had to revert to my backup.

I have installed the latest version of newsmag for a project and still having the same issue/problem with according and tabs.
The theme is not compatible with visual composers features in it’s current form.
When will you be solving the problems? There are a few now including the anchor link menu item problem (other post) and at this rate it does not seem like these problems are going to be resolved.
as i have no experience, i’m not able to implement that code, but i’m presuming there are plug ins available for this theme that will enable me to have people register their email address with us? do you have any recommendations? or do i just choose any plug in available on the market? is it easy to install – get the plug in up and running? i used site ground to install the theme for me, as i’m a beginner, so worried i won’t be able to understand the plug in process either?

That issue occurred after WordPress released V 4.4.1. but in last theme update we fix it. You can use theme’s path and update only the modified files. I’ve noticed that you’re using V 2.2 of the theme. In this case you need to go trough every path from 2.2 until 2.3.5 and update the modified files.
Before making any changes make sure you do a full backup to the current wp install and also the database. This is a security measure, in case something goes wrong you can always get back to the previous install.

Checking your site I found some errors in browser console. This errors are directly related with theme’s blocks that’s why the site is not displayed fine: http://screencast.com/t/DIRsU1DWWUHu Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ also during the update process deactivate all plugins then enable only Visual Composer and check the site again.
Theme’s code it’s tested and does not contains any malicious code so as @Chris suggested it may be a false positive. For more details about this please check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/virus-detected-in-the-theme-2/ While you install the theme consider deactivating the Avast antivirus as this may affect some of the required files.

2. You can use one of the templates included in Visual Composer to obtain the same layout as on our demo: http://screencast.com/t/ZVtz5lbfWp
2.a If you you install the demo without content then only the style and colors will be imported, not the post/pages. So you can install any demo: http://screencast.com/t/aDinojMips0f then add your own posts.
3. Try do deactivate this options from theme panel > template settings then test the page again: http://screencast.com/t/LPPZ7xr7m If the link is still there please provide your site url so I can inspect it closer.

You should use. I prefer WP Super Cache, it works best with Newspaper theme. You can download it from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/

The theme has nothing to do with it. You need to clear your site’s cache. Once a day, is a good practise. Also, do try re-installing your browser.
I installed Yoast SEO but now status says incompatible with newstatpress plugin. 🙂
I installed newsmag theme and it was working fine, after some days later ifound out the site is scattered. please what caused this as i havent loggrg into mt admin until now to see what i can do and all attempt has failed. Also the theme is not compactible with avast antivirus as i have to disable my webshield for this theme to work and this is not right, please i need help.

I just purchased and installed Newspaper on my site. For some reason, the site will not display any images when this theme is applied (featured images or images in posts). They appear in preview, but do not appear when they theme is applied. When I reapply other themes, the images show. I tried reinstalling the theme, but that did not fix the problem.
Also, changes made in the settings for the various blocks do not apply either and some of the image based blocks are not appearing.
Any help would be appreciated. I spent a lot of time narrow my theme selection to this one and am disappointed thus far.

Hi,
I disabled the WP generic comments and installed a plugin for Facebook comments. However, on single post pages I still see a line “No Comments” from the generic comments template. I tried to locate where to edit or remove this on comments.php and many other places, but I couldn’t.
