Hi, try all the options mentioned above, but still not working. Also used different browsers to view and not working. Please let me know of any other option, before I delete the VPS instance and start a new install. Thanks
During November / December, my site (www.maxmynorm.com) was doing very well with monetization from AdSense, ContentAd and Advertise.com, but I had a security scare just before Christmas. I was advised to update to the latest versions of Newspaper and WordPress (which I did), and since then, regular profit-making articles have all run at losses every single time I run traffic to them (driven by Yahoo Gemini).
I am well aware that the time of year would have had an impact, but I am concerned that my site has been compromised in some way – not only due to the sudden change in revenue performance immediately after the updates, but also it now seems to take much longer for the pages to load.
I have tested running traffic to numerous different posts on my site, and every one of them – including new ones – has performed badly.
Sadly I am not a techie by any means, but is there any way of testing the site to check its integrity, or to validate that the updates installed have been correctly dealt with?
Hello Atakanyildiz,
Please make a fresh install via FTP by following this tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Your settings will not be affected as they are stored in the database. Simply download the latest version of the theme and install it directly. Also, please install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme, clear all cache and try it again and see how it work for you.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi
I tried to deactivate the smart sidebar on all the posts from the theme panel, but it didn’t work. I then cleared my cache using WP Super Cache, but that didn’t work either. Is there any other way I can do this, e.g. reinstall the theme? In case I do decide to keep the annoying smart sidebar, how do I customize it’s size and content to display certain categories, e.g. ‘featured’?
Also: How can I change the font colour of a sidebar widget’s title fro black to white?
Hello, i am using frontend publishing plug-in on my site. (pirigibi.com) after latest update of theme, posts submitted by users don’t appear on posts list. I can see total number but i cant see posts. I deleted the plug-in and reinstall it but nothing changed. Can it be caused by the theme?

Thanks for your answer.
I solved the problem when i installed another plugin for RSS.
Rule #1 is NOT to update all plugins as many times they have bugs, are broken and cause issues. It’s only wise to update to TESTED versions of plugins, and check the support pages for any plugin for issues PRIOR to install. Often the latest versions of VC, SliderRevolution, Yoast, etc., have introduced major major problems with new versions (Yoast often rushes out 5 bug fix releases the first week to fix “problems” which have done things like break sitemaps, demolish meta data, and break other plugins!).
So, good to perhaps plan a little better for how you approach “updates” as the “latest” is not always the “best” — it’s better to be wary, and savvy of NEW updates, and not fully tested/mature versions proven to actually work with WP, themes, other plugins, and best practices.
You can update plugins which are bundled for free with theme each time the theme is updated. Also note over past 2.5 years, TagDiv has been on top of releases patches/updates for every security issues raised.
You might want to look at things like the Securi WordPress blog and other resources which stay on top of all the vulnerabilities in WP and related tech.
Good to be wary, but it’s super safe around these parts! I’m an #infosec expert, so totally part of my daily routine around here. 🙂
Hi
I’ve tested a post from your site and the more article box does not show up after it’s closed once:
http://screencast.com/t/WwdobzTYMy I am not sure why the box appear again on your side but you can try to clear the cache memory, also deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and test again.
Also you can try to make a new local install on your computer, with the latest version of WordPress, the current version of the theme available on themeforest, V 2.3.5, Visual Composer plugin and test again.
The theme don’t have any sort order filters for posts displayed in more article box. If you chose to display posts from same category, the display order will be random. To change the display order you have to edit the td_more_article_box.php file and add this parameters like here: http://screencast.com/t/5vwNrQuRZnM
Thanks!
Hello Samron,
In most cases this issue is due from mobile theme module from Jetpack. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It is necessary to follow this steps because some untested plugins used by you could cause some interference between theme and these plugins and create this kind of issue. After this, try to enable your plugins one by one and find the culprit. If your problem is still there after my advice, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com whit your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect the issue. Also, please provide the link to this topic so we know who you are and what the issue is.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi,
It seems something is wrong on your side as the td-modal-image class gets applied on the td-post-content which is not the way it should be. Plus i see you have multiple div’s with the td-post-content class. Something is definitely not OK there. Maybe some custom modifications are in place that affect these classes. Please try to create a fresh install of the theme if you do not have custom modifications. If you do, then you can create a testing sub-domain and install the theme there to test it out and see how the classes are supposed to be applied. You can also compare your code to the demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
If you need further assistance with this, then please request it via email as there is only so much we can do before accessing your website and inspecting the back-end.
Thank you!
Hello,
can the images of demonstrations are used in public?
or in other words:
Do I have to purchase the theme “Newspaper” the Lizenses for the images of the demo installations acquired?
greeting

Hello Kohram,

Hello everyone!
I recently installed Newspaper on my blog (www.mirumors.com). Adsense ads are showing correctly in all the pages except the home page. I checked with 10+ computers and the problem is the same.
Anyone can help me?
Thanks for your time!
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no option to do this. You can only load one demo on one instance of the site. It can be done however with multiple sub-domains all having the theme installed and different demos installed on them, then adding redirects to the links. It’s a bit of a hassle, but unfortunately there is no simple option for it. Sorry.
Thanks.
Hello grharis,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clears all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the ability to be conflicting plugins. Also, please try to improve your system status according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Yes, it is recommended to disable the plugin and delete files before installing the new version.
You can follow this guide to see how to do it. This is for visual composer but the method applies for all the plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello letenkyzababku,
I have checked your website and I saw that your post content does not have padding-left in mobile mode. This kind of issue could cause by the conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clears all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict. Also, you can try the code below and add it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
@media (max-width:768px) {
.td-post-content {
padding-left:20px;
}
}
Hope this helps!

Hello,
If you need to reinstall the theme to bring it to the default values, you can simply delete the theme and install it again via ftp as the settings/ posts/ pages are kept in the database and will not get deleted.
You can follow this tutorial to install via ftp. You can update the theme with this occasion as you use an older version that has a few issues with the current version of WP. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and use the ftp method.
You also need to check the theme panel – custom code section to see if there is no custom code st in there that you might not want anymore.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello Kohram,
I have checked your website and I saw the issue with your smart list. Please try to change your permalinks and set it by default like this -> http://screencast.com/t/xC1fVYimrY Also, if your problem is still there after this changes, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clears all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict. It is necessary to follow this advice because your untested plugins that you are using in our theme cause some interference between our theme and these plugins.

Hello,
The sorting option works as expected. We have no reported bugs with this method. If no cache is installed then the posts with the most views from the last 7 days will be displayed. DId you enable this option in the theme panel? http://screencast.com/t/aaarhvqy3Gkm (without it the sorting options will not work: https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/)
Please follow the guide and test the sorting option again.
Thank you!
