I try to add some cache to my site. Using QUICK CACHE or WP FASTEST CACHE i get 42/100 on mobile and 50/100 on desktop on both, and without cache plugin too on google page speed test.

So I installed W3 total cache.
Following the video from anterior posts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0G6pk2mX4M when i enable minify with newspaper 4.4 i get blanc page. Hard times today… with only page cache from W3 I still have 49 / 100 … pff.
I disabled W3, installed speed-booster-pack.2.6 adn disabled td-speed-booster. Like in the video, when I activate Load CSS asincronius and I load site… guess what. Problems. Is loading with tabs list or something, can’t explain, and then loads. Issue anyway… will try more settings.

About duplicate loading of the articles, i’m not sure what could case this, i have also tested this and didn’t happened for me using the latest theme version 4.3
Please make sure you disable all plugins, the load more feature uses javascript to get the articles and could be in conflict with other plugins.
Also make sure you disable and empty cache of any CDN or cache plugins.
If nothing works please make a backup of your current theme installation then update the theme to the latest version.
Please let me know what you find.

Not sure this helps; but one tip I often recommend for webdevs, is to setup a sub domain for your main business site, like wpdev14.mysite.xyz and make sure your WP install is set to not ping the pingomatic service, and also hidden from search engines from the WP setting. This allows you to install any number of themes and plugins on an actual live host running server grade php/MySQL with all the “actual” elements of working site, which don’t always work with local dev box on PC or Mac (I gave up on that due to wonky gremlins with WP and whatnot …).
Some services with social media do IP checks back to the server for DNS and geolocation checks and may not work at all off a local ISP owned IP, or a machine without DNS registry (e.g., ns1.sitenap.xyz), etc. This is a VERY COMMON issue with any local hosted apps not being loaded off “real” server with reverse IP lookups, traceable DNS, etc. – with various APIs, due to folks like Twitter and FB dealing with huge bandwidth and very savvy network admins.
Your mileage may vary, but this is how we do it to ensure “what we see” will be what a client sees, and can also be very helpful in testing collisions/conflicts, and avoiding the “it works on my PC, why doesn’t it work on client server?” — and can save huge amount of headaches at deployment.
If I install the plugin (social counter) having other theme, should be function?
If yes, I can try to install on the actual website with my current theme to see if happens the same.

How come after the 4.3 update, the buttons (specifically Button 2) on visual composer are not styled according to the settings? http://i.imgur.com/yFJoNX0.png
On the front end, it would only show as links and not the styled one.
I tried reinstall the theme and accompanying plugins and clearing the cache, but it’s still not showing properly.
Note that the buttons were styled fine before the 4.3 update.

I have made tests with the tagdiv social counter plugin and found no issues with it, please make sure that you get the latest version of tagdiv Social Counter plugin (Version 2.2), you can get it from themes latest version files in plugins folder, remove/delete the old plugin the install it from the plugins folder.
Should work fine, if still dose not work after installing it again please make sure you use the latest theme version also and that you deactivate all plugins when testing it to make sure that there is no plugins conflicts.

I have a few problems with the menu:
1. I have the boxed layout, but there are white lines extending from the menu both sides over the bg.
2. The menu items are centered. I have no idea how this happened, but ever since I installed the theme, the items were centered. I would like to have these left aligned.
3. The line underneath the menu items when hovering over an item, is not appearing.

Another problem I’m having is the parallax is not working on the big feature images. Also on the pages where I have the big feature image, there is a space between the menu and the image.

Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and install the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin from the plugins folder that came with the theme files.
Then please disable all plugins and then regenerate thumbnails, also remember to empty cache.
If this dose not solve this issue please send your wp-admin user and pass at contact@tagdiv.com so we can check this, also send a link to this topic or specify your issues details.

Should work, please also make sure you have installed the VC plugin from plugins folder within the files that came with the theme files, like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Are you using child theme, make sure you try this using the main theme also make sure you have updated the theme right and you have uploaded all files.
You can also try to make a backup of your current installation and re-upload theme files via FTP.

Try deleting the visual compser and install it again.
Go to appearance > install plugins
For the logo, you need to specify the logo url in theme panel > header 🙂

I’m having difficulty in changing the header logo. I’ve uploaded the logo into the template and save setting and use image but my site still uses the newspaper default logo.
Can anyone help me out? I’ve installed the demo data which I assume allows me to change the logos and etc.

All images were working fine, until I installed the Media File Renamer plugin by Jordy Meow.
After going through the renaming process, all images were still working fine, except for the 100x65px images (the ones in block4).
When checking the URL, it is still linking to the old naming of the images.
Example in sidebar: http://www.nonstopdestination.com/lorem-ipsum/
Any ideas how to fix this?

I have:
- Theme Version 4.3
- Visual Composer Version 4.3.4 (deactivated, uninstalled and reinstalled several times from your package)
- Child theme running (I also tried to activate the main theme)
- I deactivated all plugins and tried again but it doesn’t work
Anyways, in your screenshot http://screencast.com/t/h8547NHbMdVa Button 2 is not stylized like Visual Composer edit page does, but they come out both with your own style. Instead I’d like to have both different styles, Visual Composer’s and yours.
In your example what should be the actual difference between “Button” and “Button 2”?
