This is usually from you changing your permalink structure and not creating 301 redirects to the original content; or you have something being loaded from your site out of the Newspaper folder which is not found. Often reinstalling theme will fix this kind of thing, as a file didn’t fully upload the first time.
At least that happened to me once. I made the mistake of using my FTP software to decompress the zip, and files were missing.
Here is another awesome plugin that every one should have install it’s called “Query Strings Remover” i’m using it as well and it works great.
What this plugin do is remove the query strings from your static resources like CSS and JavaScript files to help improve your cache performance and overall score in Google PageSpeed, YSlow, Pingdom and GTmetrix.
The plugin name is “Query Strings Remover” by the author Atul Kumar Pandey

Hi ppl, in a bit of a stress since i’m on the eve of launching a website using Newspaper :). Hope you can help me out.
When i installed the theme the tag feature worked fine. Now, that i’ve inserted content and prepared my own homepages suddenly the post tags are not working: they forward to the 404 template (unless when a tag has the same text as a category, in those cases it works).
Any clue on what is happening? thanks in advance for the (if possible urgent help).

Yes, I have the plugin installed (with the update that came out today). But I am still having this problem.
I see in the demo does not have this problem, and in some cases here, is very small.
Should I combine the scripts?

I understand what you have said, but not sure on exact “element” to fix.

the left margin or padding has been set in each element on the page through Visual Composer modules.
Now as per this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/CSGN7h8ID that there is no padding etc in each Visual composer element.
Is this a bug within the theme?
If tested the theme on a brand new WP install and it does exactly the same. I hope i do not need to apply a fix every time the theme is used.
As to a fix i understand the @media query setting for css. I am wondering to which class i would apply padding or margin too.
Would it be the body??? as it seems to be only the page elements, not the header etc??

also you can try to disable all plugins to be sure no conflicts may appear between the theme and the plugins.

If I purchase visual studio and install it, so I can use some of the Visual Composer plugins, will this break the theme? will I have the theme shortcodes in Visual composer or will I have to manually install them?
Yes, I have always worked with WP Super Cache, but I installed W3 Total Cache by the recommendations of the creators of Theme (I do not agree in this case). I had problems with W3, I switched to WP Super Cache and, for now, everything is correct.
Ok, I’m a bit lost here!
This is a fresh new install I did today as I had to change hosts and I just can’t find the sidebar manager anymore. Where should I be looking for it?
I tried to deactivate all plugins and nothing happened
I do not have this “define(…” piece of code in my config.php as I saw here in the forum
I can not create or use any sidebar other than the default. Any hints?

Ever since I updated to Newspaper v3.8.4 I’ve had a notification on post and pages in my dashboard that says: “Hola! Please activate your copy of Visual Composer to receive automatic updates.”
Thought maybe I updated it incorrectly. So I deactivated the plugin, deleted it. Then I switched from my child theme to the main Newspaper theme, and reinstalled the js_composer.zip plugin.
But I’m still getting the not activated notification on posts and pages. Is there anything I can do about this?
Again checked still same problem. Jetpack showing 640 views of a post. You theme views and plugin views ( you asked to install ) showing less view around 34.

You can install the child theme, is available in Themeforest zip file, but was not tested if work with that file, but you can try it if you want.

I have problem with post views. Post views are not updating correctly. I have jetpack installed. Jetpack is showing 600+ post views for one day of a post wheres your theme only shows 74. 🙁 Please help

Hello, I really need a help with bbpress. I recently upgraded to this theme as it support BBpress with nice look.

Issue is that I have reinstalled the old bbpress but I can still see the old table frame styling, I cannot push or I dont know how or why it is still using old style.
Funny part is that when u click on a actual topic or open a topic the style are OK.
Only the main INDEX page is somehow not right.
