Hello.

Well, on the main page, I have the comments icon visible. If the user clicks on it, the extension “#respond” is added to the URL of the article in question. The problem is that this extension doesn’t work (I think as a result of the De:comments plugin).

However, if the URL extension is “#comments”, the browser accesses the comments section directly. So my question is: can I change the default extension “#respond” to “#comments”?

first of all thank you for this amazing theme, one issue i find that mobile theme is not running in mobile i have installed the required ts mobile plugin and then configured it but it’s showing the message like
“The Mobile Theme path couldn’t be set. Please check if you have another mobile theme pluginactive and disable it (ex. jetpack Mobile Themeor Similar). If you use cache plugin clear it before checking the results”.
even if i have disabled the plugin then also it’s not running. Please Help me otherwise i have to go for other.

The newspaper theme has a lot of homepage content. I want to remove some of the pre-loaded sections that came when I did a demo install.

I can’t seem to figure out how to do this. I assume it would be with the drag and drop features of tag div, but I can’t get tag div to show up when I am on the homepage. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi friends, I have issues about speed of site (despite dedicated server),
in particular I cannot: enable gzip, minify Javascript, leverage browser setting, minify css, despite dozens of attemps of different scripts in .htaccess . My provider say server is well configuration. We already use WP Supercache.
Said this, can you to suggest a plugin “Newspaper compatible” than can make enable gzip, minify Javascript, leverage browser setting, minify css, automatically?

After last security wordpress 4.8.3 update, my website is using all my hosting resources and slows a lot my newspaper theme website. Is this a know issue!
Before this update all runs smoothly. I am using newspaper theme since last year with no problems on this server. I have not install anything else and I am running only native theme plugins.
I am the only one?
Is there any fix we can do!

Hi there. I recently reinstalled Newspaper after a botched update attempt (I tried migrating our current site’s database to the test site with the intent of migrating everything back over to our real server with the new theme and updated database. This went badly). I downloaded and installed the latest version of the theme and am trying to rebuild my site; specifically, the homepage. When I use TagDiv Composer, I’ll drag an element onto the page (In this case, a Big Grid) and nothing happens. The “rows” appear to be generated, but there’s no content in them. Small blocks do appear (however, none of the graphics show up in them). This was working just this morning.

I’ve already deactivated all of the plugins but the TagDiv ones (again, all of these plugins were working fine with the theme this morning). I’ve essentially lost six months of work (not your fault; this was all me), but I can’t rebuild anything I had for some reason. Am I missing something blatantly obvious?

Hi. When I click on the theme panel, the default page displays as text only, no formatting. There is a constant rotating box in the upper left corner, and a check mark next to it. I need to modify ads and I cannot get to them as the links are not responsive.

On a related note, I have tried to update to the latest version using the Envato app, but it also doesn’t do anything when clicked. I have downloaded the install and tried to update through the regular ‘appearance’ ‘themes’ area, but it won’t let me since Newspaper is already installed. I’m reluctant to delete and reinstall from scratch.

I have installed the tagDiv composer, but it is not possible to drag and drop – even though the edit page is visible.
What might be wrong?

I am trying to install the Newspaper theme. While uploading I’m getting redirected to a WordPress Failure Notice which says “Are you sure you want to do this?”

Below that is a link: “Please try again” which takes me back to my WordPress Dashboard.

Please assist. I purchased Newspaper8 and have installed the revolution slider plugin. Unfortunately when I activate the plugin it says Revolution slider error-slide with alias newspaper-politics not found. I am using the Politics template.
