1. Yes, you can import only the demo settings and yes, your content is safe, but notice that if you import the demo with content and you make changes in this, after you uninstall or change the theme the changes made in the demo content will be lost -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-installing-demos/
2.Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme plugins and child theme ( if you are using ), clear all cache and try again.
Please make sure that you are using the latest theme version and make sure you Instagram account is correctly added, you can make a test and try with a different id to make sure that the Instagram is working correctly ( Instagram id: cocacola ).

Yes, the demo look different because on that demo is use the responsive version of the theme, not the mobile theme, installing a demo will not activate/deactivate theme plugins, this need to be done manually, if you want the same layout, please deactivate the mobile theme from plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/j9ELUIo020m clear all cache and check the layout.

After installing the ‘Say What’ template it appears that the font (and font sizes) don’t match with the beautiful demo as shown on the Newspaper demo site.
Could you please take a look at the template as installed on my site to see what I might have done wrong?

Hi,
Uninstalling the demo, or installing a new demo should remove the previous demo completely. The website should be as it was before installing the demo

So the homepage should be removed as well. Maybe it’s a caching issue, try to clear the cache, also force refresh the page in the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R). Let us know.

1. Seems that your trending news ticker display is a smart widget that can have desired parameters preset. However, we just transferred some posts from another theme in the past couple of days, and the entire display disappears when we set it to content added in the last 7 days. Any ideas on why that would be?
2. Do you offer a similar ticker system for Breaking News? Seems that breaking news are just set by recently posted, and is just a regular category. However, that doesn’t seem practical since breaking news are temporary and assigning a category is on the permanent side since they have to be changed manually. Is there a breaking news system that’s able to be customized the same way the trending news are?
3. How do we implement the reviews feature and what is it exactly?
4. Same question for the ‘gadget score’ on your theme demo.. what is that feature and how can a news website like ours utilize that?
5. Is there a way to let authors sign up and create an author’s account and profile themselves, or does admin need to approve and add them through the usual wordpress process? And in any case, will the theme automatically generate an author’s page for them, or is that also done by an admin?
6. Does fastnews have any type of team page where the staff is highlighted with their photos, bios, etc., as you see on many websites?
7. The other issue is the links below the main navigation on your fastnews demo isn’t quite lining up as the fastnews theme demo, after installing your recent theme update.
Since installing the update, we’re seeing this error message:
Received a response code !=200 while trying to contact the templates API server.
Hope to get some help with all this.

WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.

You have more possibilities, you can import some demos and edit theme, but be carefully, if you edit one demo page and you’ll install other demo, or you’ll uninstall the demo, that page will be remove, so will be good to make a new page and set the content in it.

The simplest way to achieve a full width is to use a template from tagDiv Cloud Library. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

With customisation the update process is somewhat painstaking.
Among other things, Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies are no longer working – even after rebuilding and references the tagDIV API documentation (which previously successfully allowed this).
• Is the API documentation current?
• What is the recommendation for getting Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies working in the 9.7 update? Following the API documentation – this is not being recognised in 9.7.
• What is the recommended process for identifying and installing any further files – Specifically, there are certain cross-references such as:
'used_on_blocks' => array('td_block_11', 'td_block_18'),
This refers to php in shortcodes however the entire shortcodes folder with contents was not part of the update. Is copying across from the old version the correct approach to restore or recreate?
