Please keep in mind that all your content and settings are registered in your database, of course if you use the same database in your project and after installing the demo you will see your old content, along with that of the demo.

There could be a problem with receiving data from our server. Try to uninstall the demo then install it again. Check if during install process appear any errors like this one Ajax error. I just purchased newspaper 6 and I am trying to install the demo when I started installing default demo, It went to half way fine, and then after my net connection was gone. So when then when I am retrying it, I can’t even get any access to that plz help with this.
Hi,
The theme settings will be kept. They will not be removed by uninstalling the demo. You can try to export the settings just to be safe, but the demos do not affect any setting from the theme panel.

I installed a demo and develop my website based on that, I read this in the documentation:
If you decide to change the demo or uninstall it, the import system will make sure that you website is clean: no additional sidebars, menus or content. It will leave you website just like it was before you installed the demo.
My question is: Now that I want to delete all the content, categories, menus, etc that came with that demo, if I uninstall the demo all my customization are lost?

I cannot instal the theme, when I try to upload it on wordpress using the Newspaper-tf > Newspaper.zip file a “bad request your browser sent a request that this server could not understand” message shows up.

I did everything and it seems to be fine.. Now my only question is regarding installing the demo.. If i install the demo as is (to mimic the newsmag site) how can i make it look like the newsmag site? Where can find i image sizes etc.

In my version, it’s the same place you would have installed your demo(s) for testing.
It used to be
main theme panel
import predefined styles > go to import > “Factory Restore” …
might have moved in your version, but it’s on one of the content import screens.

I have few other blogs hosted on the same server. Had no problem while installing them.
I had installed Newspaper theme on the blog I am referring to. I deleted the complete theme folder, and tried installing it again, and that’s when this problem is coming up.
What could be the possible reason for it.
Hello, I have installed the demo but it has some errors on Header.
The problem is that the header is showing a blank space (I have already removed ADs so that Blank space does not correspond to an AD) on top of it and also the Trending Now Label should be stuck to the Menu as Demo. I have installed the theme on MAMP and it works perfectly fine but when I do it on my live site the error appears.
I have tried re-installing the theme but no luck so far.

By installing a new demo the content from your site won’t be lost. If you install the theme with content then all posts from that demo will be added to your site among the posts you already created. The posts from demo can be removed by uninstalling it without losing the post that you created.
Note that if you install a new demo all settings from theme panel will be replaced with the demo’s settings so as @Chris suggested make sure you do a full backup before installing the new demo.

Hello,
Unfortunately we cannot say for sure why the sidebar created this issue. It could have been a caching issue that got resolved when reinstalling the demo. It could also be a plugin compatibility issue. Some plugins tend to rewrite some of the theme css and create issues. If you encounter the problem again, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer to see if one of them is the cause.

Hi… I am newbie. After installing default demo. I checked there is blank block above menu and header. How to delete or fix it?
After installing newspaper theme i have installed Default Demo, then edited all pages and posts and created my sites, now newspaper status menu shows “Default demo – demo ID: default | install type: full” installed and its showing an Uninstall button near to it how can i remove my Demo installed status?

When I tried to install Classic Blog demo after uninstalling Newspaper default demo, it failed saying some Server error. The same thing happened while installing another Demo also, so I removed the whole wordpress installation and installed on another directory.
