What’s the best way (CSS) to have the logo remain left justified with the navigation?

Header Style 9 with a centered logo.
Logo is 400×122 standard, 800×244 retina.
Using Header > Logo and Ad Space – Stretch container and 1200px content.

https://cubanarts.xyz/

I’m currenting using the following CSS:

/*! LOGO ALIGNMENT PADDING – STYLE 9 */

.td-header-style-9 .td-header-sp-logo {
margin: 20px 765px 20px 0px;
padding-left: 0 !important;
}

@media
only screen and (max-width: 1140px) {
.td-header-style-9 .td-header-sp-logo {
margin: 20px 765px 20px 0px;
padding-left: 0 !important;
}
}

If you want the logo bigger, try this code:

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full, .td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap, .td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu, #td-header-menu {
height: 100px !important;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle,
.header-search-wrap {
top: 23px;
}
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height:100px;
}
.td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix {
transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px)!important;
}
.td-header-style-6 .td-main-menu-logo img{
max-height: 100px;
}
}

Thank you!

Hi, I’m using Newspaper now. I tried the code that you gave to lukehodge but doesn’t work. I made the container bigger. But I want the logo occupying the whole height.

Hi, Much thanks. The logo thing needs to be working but the height of header menu also needs to be reduced as mentioned in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/iohb83

Check this example: https://news.rambler.ru/money/39287957-sberbank-nachal-vydavat-malomu-i-srednemu-biznesu-kredity-onlayn/?updated. As you see – if you share it through social media, messengers – you’ll see preview image with shadow picture, title on the front, logo, categories. But when you click on the post, you will open website and there will be just picture with no title, logo, category on it (which we usually add as thumbnail in WordPress editor). QUESTION: How can I add a preview image with your theme?

Hi,

I’m working on a site for a company that works with some other clients.
I need to creat a logo slider in order to show all the logos of the companies my client work with.
I know there’s a “client” element, but that doesn’t work for me because i need to show more than 4 in a single row.

How can i make this?
Is it possible to add a custom plugin and insert it in the page in order to show a logo slider? i tried with the raw html element without sucess.

Thanks!

Hello,

The menu is not implemented by default in amp but the logo should be there.
Here is how the amp template should look:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ripple-ceo-and-ethereum-co-founder-bash-ico-industry/amp/
If you still cannot get the logo to show, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you very much for your appreciation. We try our best to provide a good theme for our users.

1. That seems to be a CORS problem, the loading of the font is denied
https://www.screencast.com/t/dNU3i3AYa
These are some similar topics you can follow
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co/

2. I don’t quite understand what you are referring to. This is how the main page looks
https://www.screencast.com/t/gAXqiwNF
From what I see there is no background used. Under the header menu is a big grid, but I don’t know what you want to do with it. If you could provide some more details it would be helpful.

3. That is not possible with the options in the theme. The header logo is set once in the them panel and displayed on the whole website. It would only be possible with modifications in the theme files, like creating conditions based on category
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/display-different-logo-on-specific-category/
An image would be possible in the category description if needed, if you have the Yoast SEO plugin this will add some more options in the category screen here

Thank you!

Try a code like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/bJb8E0Vpt2O
Enter the values you want in the code, then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section (default values are 130px)

.td-header-style-9 .td-logo-wrap-full {
min-height: 100px;
line-height: 100px;
}
.td-header-style-9 .td-logo-wrap-full .td-logo {
line-height: 100px;
}

You will have to find a solution for the issue. The theme has options to login/logout based on WordPress functionality. If you choose to not use this and use a different login system, then you could find solution online based on the modifications you made.

Hello,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the autoptimize plugin which can break some theme functionality. Disable this plugin, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, you can use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area as a quick solution.

.td-header-style-5 .td-main-menu-logo img{
max-height: 48px;
}
.td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:0px
}

Thanks for the message!

Hello! Chose your product and was not mistaken – the best in the market. Thank you for your excellent work!

During the installation, there were several issues that could not be resolved independently. I would be grateful if you would give me answers.

1. I use a template with the plugin “WP Super Subdomains”, publishing categories on subdomains.

All functions and blocks of the theme work perfectly, except for the elements “td-icon-font”. On the main page, information pages, pages of archives and tags, icons are displayed (http://www.gorod-ok.info/).

And on subdomains of categories and on pages of posts – is not present (http://mendeleevo.gorod-ok.info/).

In which file should I specify the exact path to the library of this iconic font?

2. On the main page between the main menu and the content block, news from a specific tag is displayed (in my case, the tag ID = 9). And the picture of this news fills the main background of the site.

How to change the settings, that there would not be anything at this place, that is, immediately after the menu the content started, or the advertising banner was placed?

3. Is it possible to set different logos in each category (in my case – city emblems) or add a category image before heading on the category page?

Thank you.

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to have the menu be transparently on top of the logo image, like this page for example: https://satoristudio.net/bento/awesome-blog-post-with-header-image/

Also, there is a small white gap between the top bar and logo image. I have used the code,

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

and that has not corrected it. Let me know if there is a setting or code I am missing. http://courthousemagazine.com/

Thank you,
Will

Hi,

@kame

https://www.screencast.com/t/xIdNFlH2Ut

Thanks

Hello,

I think you mean the logo. The post title shows up properly. It is your site logo that does not seem to be working. Please disable all plugins except the page builder and amp plugin, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

When uploading a logo, please make sure you select the full size and not a thumbnail of it: https://www.screencast.com/t/GVcrc1VZcZD
As for the sidebars, please make sure that you have a sidebar selected for the post. A post will grab the sidebar from it;s primary category. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/

Thank you!

The logo doesn’t seem to be blurry from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/WHMDlguBj
You could use a bigger logo size, it will still be limited in size but it may look sharper. For example this is the logo size used in our AMP demo page

Hi,
I am trying to select the header style 6 but when I do, the logo becomes bigger and height of the main menu also gets bigger like this screenshot http://prntscr.com/imv5pa
however, the logo size and main menu height should remain like this screenshot http://prntscr.com/imv64p but it only happens when I select style 5.

How I can keep the logo size and menu height smaller as in style 5 but the menu items move to extreme right as in style 6

Hi
Is possible to show a different logo in a page? I need to create a different section inside the site and the logo is also different. How can I do it?
Thanks!

The favicon option is just below the retina logo option. What you are showing in your screenshot is the logo.

Hello,

I’m having a problem getting the logo size on my website to show correctly. I’ve created the logo in the size that was recommended in the theme panel, but it doesn’t show correctly.

Second, on the post pages, the sidebar isn’t showing.

I’d share the link to the site itself, but we are currently in maintenance mode sorting out the problems that we are finding.
