Well you cannot have a big logo AND the header ad. There is no space for both. The space is limited. You can increase the logo a bit, but not by very much in it’s current position.
Try this code:

I would like to check if it is possible to achieve a desired look for the website I am working on.
I am looking to have social media icons identical to the reference image (Image 2), at the top right of the page above the main menu. However, as I realise Newspaper menu themes given are many, but I would prefer if only the social media icons are on the top right of the page. Inline as the same row as the website’s logo.

– No, they are not fine. Please look closely. https://www.dagonline.nl. The quality of the thumb is way lower than the one in the post. Also it crops it badly. So the only way to fix this is to upload an image 324×235? But that is to small for laptop and Facebook.
I just want the same size and quality image as the one in my post, or at least the same quality. Please help me out here

When i go to Yoast (SEO-titles and meta’s-homepage) to fix this, i cant add my meta data there. Instead, in directs me to the static homepage again (in my case Voorpagina) again. Why? On my other domains i can just add my meta data there.
How can i fix this?
– Also, i wanna keep the colors of my blocktitle tabs, but i dont want the categories and posttitles light up the same color. I just want them to be black. How can i do this?

I uploaded my logo, normal and retina, and it seems fine at first. But when i scroll down on mobile and go back up, the logo is nog bright anymore. The edges are ragged. Why it this?

I can’t modify my existing home page or create one using either Visual Composer or TagDiv Composer. With VC, I just get the constant hourglass on the logo, and none of the elements or layouts can be clicked on. On TDC, I just get the hourglass icon on a grey screen. Nothing his happening on Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. What am I doing wrong?
Hi There. I am trying to insert my logo into the middle of the menu bar in the header. I am using the travel guides demo. There are 12 templates for the header but I want my logo in the middle of the menu bar. Check out this website to see what I mean: Nomadicmatt.com I am completely new to this and am trying to get my site published but after uploading my logo, I don’t like any of the locations that are available. Is there a place I can change the code to accomplish this?

First and second issue is resolved.

I wanna modify header 7 for better look and spacing. I’d like the logo to be smaller similar to the menus height so that the header isn’t too tall. As you can know, the header has three elements, logo, main menu and the search icon. I want these elements to be parallel to each other. In other words, the logo remain on the left but smaller and the menu in the center. Also the search icon should be with the menu, not far right..

Note – the freezing happens on various sites to lesser degree I noticed the other night myself, even on my own website … only happened when I first turned it on — and I’m now thinking that maybe the iPad was doing some kind of background refresh like getting iCloud photos or something — but not sure on that.
On a simple page with 100/100 pagespeed score, two logos, one photo, and font awesome, I noticed the slight freeze going down page at a certain point. Odd. On my page all the above fold CSS loaded up front, and using native ipad fonts other than FA.
Not theme specific — I also noticed this issue on LA Times where the page just died, and went blank partway down.
Later on, both worked fine — so I suspect some background process on iPad, but I don’t have a fancy “activity monitor” installed, and have not turned on the developer mode on my new iPad (had that on for old one). Need to connect to my computer to activate that.
But it was temporary — then worked just fine. Very weird.
Just adding to the “bizarro world” topic … nothing to do with this theme specifically, as I notice the “twitchy” behavior on multiple sites the other night — all around the same time; but then no issues later on (and I have a smooth scroll jquery thing too, so yeah — super noticeable)…..
Might actually be an issue with jquery — hm.
I posted some help info on this awhile back, you might want to search for.
Basically, you will need to do search/replace in your mysql dbase to replace all instances of http://yoursite with https://yoursite in posts
You should change the logo and favicon links in your theme panel
You should consider adding explicit paths to https site in your wp-config.php file (see wordpress.org codex/docs on how to edit that — good thing to learn)
You should also see Google’s own docs on moving from http to https as you should make sure your host theme panel has a setup to auto-redirect all http requests to https automatically with 301 redirect (or you can do this with htaccess file; but all modern web servers like Plesk Onyx have this option built in on the domain management page).

Please keep in mind that the header style 9 uses the logo in full size of it and the positioning of it cannot be changed in this template style, sorry! Please try to find a useful header template to satisfy your goals and if you do not find it and if you want to edit it, notice that you should do it yourself because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Hi, is there a way to change the logo positioning (I’d like it on the far left)? I’m using header style 9 (because of logo size restrictions), but I’d be curious about the positioning in both header 9 and header 3.

I have the problem on the theme I bought from you and I do not understand why.
I bought your news8paper theme, each theme is more beautiful than the other.

When I go the header settings, then logo and favicon and I change the image in the logo upload the image is not the size of the original that I put, on the contrary, it gets very small.
The image of the logo I created was the same as the previous one in question of size, but even so it still does not work. After that any image I put, it is the same size, in the very very small case.
A note on the size of the logo I put the heading style 9, 10 and 11, in case I choose 10 and there it says that these header styles will show the logo in the exact dimensions in which you send it. You can choose any image size. And unfortunately that’s not what happens. I’ll send the photo of the demo and the photo of my logo when I put it in the settings, so it’s going to make you notice the difference. I look forward to your response.

Just a few more questions …
1. I’m using style 7 for the Header and I would like to reduce the white space above my logo and menu. Can I do that?
2. I would also like to get rid of ‘More from Author’ next to ‘Related Articles’ at the bottom of my post pages. Can I do that?
3. I would like to change the max_execution_time and WP Memory Limit to reflect the recommendations of the Newspaper theme under System Status but I don’t understand where to go to change those things.
