Hi, usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please check the rest of settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Let me know the results!

I downloaded the theme and tried to use however, I could not use the tag Div. Even if I try to add elements, it’s loading and never completed. I checked the Newspaper system status and I believe I need to update WP memory limit.

It says:
40 MB/request – We recommend setting memory to at least 128MB. The theme is well tested with a 40MB/request limit, but if you are using multiple plugins that may not be enough.

Could you tell me how to update WP memory limit? Is WordPress and the URL is finishing with .com but not with .com/wordpress

Your help is much appreciated!

Hi,
Sometimes we have error Resource Limit Is Reached.
Sometimes because of Live Search, probably because of insufficient resources (so we removed it), or because of something else.

Our site is https://www.savetilekara.rs/
We have about 50K to 60K total visits per month, around 2K per day. More than 200 posts, and mor than 120 WooCommerce products

There is some other web sites using your theme with much more content and visits per day, and they do not have that problem and Live Search works perfectly fine.
We have better scores than them on GTmetrix and PageSpeed. We optimized our web site as much as we can from your guidance on your forum.

So is it posible that this is happening because of our server, we are on some shared hosting plan, so should we move on VPS or some other solution?

Our server:
20 GB disk space
400 GB monthly bandwidth
Entry Processes 20
Physical Memory Usage 1GB
I/O Usage 1 MB/s

Usually we have problem with CPU Usage, Entry Processes, Physical Memory Usage, or I/O Usage. Enters in red zone 100%, and our server temporarily disable our website.

So what is your advice, what should we do, should we change our hosting plan? Is it your theme to much heavy for our hosting plan?

Thanks a lot

php_admin_value[post_max_size] = 10M
php_admin_value[upload_max_filesize] = 3M

php_flag[allow_url_fopen] = on

Hi,

Ok, we’ll take a look.
It was good if some access to the host was possible to check the settings and theme files and if all the requirements are sett correctly including wp memory and other parameters..

Thank you!

Hi chellofr, in most case this problem can be solved double the wp memory limit, make sure that you have set all the theme requirements as in our guide and set the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT 512M if the problem is still persists with 253M.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Here is the detail of the error that I received by email directly from WordPress:
Error details
======================
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 2264 of the /srv/data/web/vhosts/*****/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php file . Error message: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 40960 bytes)

I followed the recommendations in the post above, but received this email a second time. I went into recovery mode and systematically TD Composer is disabled. I do not know what to do.

My site is still under construction and I just imported a theme without making any big changes.

Hi,

Usually allowed memory size is when the wp memory limit is to low, make sure that you have set the theme requirements as in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ also because you have some many tags is possible to need at list double of wp memory limit.

If there is sill a problem and you are using WordPress v5.5 or v5.5.1, you must use the last version of Newspaper theme too (v10.3.6.1), only this will work on last version of WordPress.
Also if you already have Newspaper 10.3.6.1 and you have this problem, then try the below steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).

If the problem still persists, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Also you can use the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper in some cases this can help you to make tagDiv Composer to work.

Hope this will help you!
Let me know the results!

When i try to edit my homepage using the TagDiv Composer option the page freezes and i have to close out of the browser window to continue.

I then receive an error message email that reads:

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 491 of the file /home1/footbbt6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/templates/frontend.tpl.php. Error message: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 28385280 bytes)

How do i resolve this ?

Hi,

It may have been something temporary, please check again. In case it is still not working, please check the value of the wp-memory, it can be seen in the system status panel https://prnt.sc/ucv6pv
If needed increase that as mentioned in the guide https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/ then check again. Increase all the other parameters as well if they are lower then the recommendation.

Thank you!

Hi,

That is the whole error message? I would suggest to begin by checking the requirements guide https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
Increase the wp-memory if needed and the other parameters mentioned in the guide.

Also note the code at the bottom, enter it in the htaccess file https://prnt.sc/uctmex Then check if the issue is solved.

Thank you!

I found that define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ ); was missing at all from my wp-config.php. It’s working fine now, I think.

Hi afuentessa, this is quite strange. Did the problem persists when you try only with tagDiv plugins?
If yes, then try the below steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).
Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please check the rest of settings from our guide.
Also make sure that all theme settings are as in our guide ->
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hello!
If I try to update a page, created with tagdiv composer, it is not saving the changes. The error “Request Entity Too Large” is shown.

The problem just exists, if I want to save changes I made in the WordPress editor (for example changing of the meta-description, the page title or the link). Changes I do in the tagdiv composer can be saved without a problem.

I set the WP Memory Limit 256 MB/request and the WP_DEBUG to false.

So… what to do to fix it??

Hi riminisparita, as long you do not made changes in theme files or theme plugins, there will be no problems to make the theme update, the theme panel setting are saved in database.
If you made change you can use our guide for child theme, also there are more methods to update the theme, you can check our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/

1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
Also make sure that you are using https not http, also make sure that you have a good connection to internet.

Let me know the results!
