Hi

Replace all css with this one, now the border should be displayed fine:

@media(max-width: 768px){
.td-menu-mob-open-menu .td-mobile-nav-wrap{
width: 100%
}
.td-menu-mob-open-menu .td-content-wrap {
left: 100%;
}
.td-header-style-9 {
border-bottom: 3px solid #D60D0D;}
}
}

Thanks!

Hello firetoss,

There is an option for it and if you want to rename the word CLOSE from the mobile menu, you can do that from Theme panel->Translations, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/sujG6ucjqYV

Thanks.

Is there an easy way to rename the wording on td-mobile-close so that Close can be changed to something else?

Hello,
I have checked your website and you are not doing anything “wrong”. It’s just the way your menu is set up. You have it set to a custom menu that links to ‘#’. Even on desktop, if you click on “Angebote”, it will do nothing (exactly as on mobile). The difference is that on desktop there is a mega-menu and on mobile there isn’t such an option. So the simplest solution for this is to recreate your menu item and set it as a category item, not a custom link so when you click, it will lead to the specific category.
Thank you!

Hi,

could you look at our mobilmenu please? http://www.vizavi.de

The catagorys “Angebote” and “Termine” are not displayed correctly.
What are we doing wrong?

thx Tom

Just to share some experiences improving site speed for the many who post here to discuss…

What I’ve also done (My site is an independent ‘hyperlocal’ news site – slightly bigger than hyperlocal really) which I think is good practice given FB Instant Articles and AMP (Already on Apple News for almost a year now) is almost ‘forget the desktop’ exists.

Due to 75%+ mobile visitors it seems good practice (if a ‘live’ news site with say 100+ articles per week) to get the site as fast and safe as possible – this may help others

– I’ve removed all home page blocks except ‘ticker’ – a lightweight grid with no slider- and a sidebar
– Removed all plugins or deactivated ones no required all the time
– Implemented Chris S .htaccess and functions.php tips exactly as described – inc image resizing
– Paid Cloudflare with page rules to remove wp-admin etc- following TagDiv recommendation settings except RocketLoader ON – Mirage in ON
– Removed my subscriber pop-up and won’t use one – promote subscriptions via another route – FB ads – Twitter ads perhaps
– Removed SumoMe and anything that fetches CSS externally
– I do run UberMenu on main site and ShiftNav on mobile (for a better user experience) – But run NO mega menu or dropdowns
– Currently RocketLoader (Cloudflare) runs and doesn’t break anything
– Only added Google Analytics via YoastSEO not on Theme Panel box – it’s there and working
– ADDED a user text box to point people to how to navigate the site – believe it or not saying ‘Press load more or click coloured category labels or main menu’ actually gets visitors to do that!

Results –

Before – GTMetrix – PageSpeed B YSlow C Page size (Homepage) 3.2MB Requests – 187 – Load time – about 7-10 secs
Pingdom 5-7 seconds

After – Page Speed A (96%) YSlow B (82%) Page size (Homepage) 1.2MB Requests 96 – Load time – 2 secs
Pingdom 700ms-1.3 secs

The theme still looks great on desktop but it’s not worth getting caught up in the aesthetics if the visitors aren’t looking at the pretty views – it looks brilliant on mobile and that’s what matters.

Good morning friends!!!!!
I’m with some small problems with my website on the phone
I would like to resolve these small details if possible.

1 – It is possible leave the color, the submenu items category, with the color different from color of the main menu, and with black color with different hover?
The color here is confused with the background with black color
How to change the color of the box?
http://www.screencast.com/t/tZAjY1GTJ

2 – exist very white space above the menu in model 1…
I removed the box of the ADSense. I want to leave the fixed menu at the top.
You can leave the Model menu 1, fixed bonded at the top 100%,
Same as example in model 2 – image A (www.globo.com?
http://www.screencast.com/t/L7jBynrDat

Thanks for attention

Hello Andrei,

Thanks for the above.

Yes, the email that was last sent was the one I am referring to. Please let me know if there has been a reply as there is usually a lag with my emails.

Looking forward to the next update.
In the meantime, could you point me to where I can find the CSS for the Mobile Menu? I would like to make changes to the style.

Thanks.

Hi

That was the original implementation for mobile menu, whenever the user click on menu icon the page scroll up to top. We will change this in next theme update but at the moment I can’t provide a solution as this task require many changes in theme’s js.

We always answer at all messages from the oldest to newest. On our email address we have only this message from your mail address: http://screencast.com/t/VxiQlew5YXkhttp://screencast.com/t/fwwSaaxuiup Please make sure that the message was successfully sent, also try to send the message again and we will get back to you in shortest time.

Hello,

I would like to know how to stop a specific function of the mobile menu.

Whenever you’re on the site in mobile, when you click the mobile menu toggle, the site will revert back to the top and load the menu.

This is quite frustrating for a user especially if they are quite far down the site and click the mobile menu only to be taken all the way back up.

Is there any way to stop this function? I just want it that no matter where you are on the mobile site, when you load the mobile menu, it loads and does not scroll all the way to the top.

P.S I sent an e-mail to contact@tagdiv.com around 10 days ago and did not receive any reply.

Thanks,

Hi!

Just as my topic title says:

I want smart snap on mobile, and on a desktop i want it to always stick.
This is done by simple picking “Smart snap – (mobile)” from the main menu options.

The problem is, when i do this, my logo only shows on mobile, not on desktop?
On desktop it plain and simply shows only a sticky meny row when i scroll down, no logo.

How do i make the logo show on the desktop with this option, without removing the function that its always sticky on desktop and on mobile its Smart snap.

Thanks.

Hello,

I wanted to reach out for advice on setting up the mobile view for my new newspaper site- http://www.livingtosmile.com. When I visit the site there is a blue menu at the top that shows the site pages and then text that says “home [_td_block_1]”

If I click “Visit Full Site” it looks ok.

Thanks!

Hi Catalin,

I have applied this code and my top menu appears on mobile. When the device is vertical – on the home page and posts, the menu is aligned left. On regular pages, it is aligned center which is preferable. On categories, it shows only the social.

Any way to apply CSS that would make the home page and posts have the centered menu? And also for categories to show the menu items instead of social?

Hi

The theme does not have an option to make the menu always sticky only for mobile devices. You can use this option from theme panel > header > main menu: http://screencast.com/t/KJ1Yf3P3 but it will make the menu always sticky on all devices.

Thanks!

on my site on mobile view
if you scroll down the page the the menu strip (search bar and the logo) goes away . and if you scroll up slight a bit it comes back

so is there any way that i could get the the stikcy menu so that in any which way i scroll down or up the menu should stay sticky on the screen (only for mobile).

Hello Bogdan,

Thanks for your revert !

Can you just tell me the files in which I have to make the changes. I am ok hardcoding the codes. I am using Google DFP to get my codes placed. I was searching across the forum and found this link :

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/several-config-questions/

The person here also wanted a similar kind of a functionality. I want the Ad to come from the top of the site. In his site it is coming below the menu. As mentioned in this link I tried placing the codes in header.php but it din’t worked. Please let me know how can this be achieved.

Also in the advanced CSS section there is just the Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile devices option. Suppose if I want to restrict my ads to display only on devices having width more than 1024px then how can that be achieved.

I wish to a click-able mobile icon (16×16 or 32x32px) next to the search icon so it can redirect to Google Play Store of my App. Where do I make changes in the source code?

Hello Team,

Please can you help with mobile menu layout issue?

Hello,
At the moment, our theme uses the same menu for both the mobile and the desktop versions. You can have different menu items with a css trick (without the use of plugins to make the site heavier) to hide specific items for a specific viewport. For example if I want to show a particular menu item on the mobile version but not have it on the desktop/tablet version I would use css like so:
http://screencast.com/t/Imc40ktOxkQ then you can use the advanced css area in the theme panel to hide it on the desktop and tablet version: http://screencast.com/t/6bMol3cjNy
result: http://screencast.com/t/udclPfONn4http://screencast.com/t/c1aMafVY
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi

My site is:

  • http://www.womensgolf.com
  • A couple of hours ago I resolved an issue I was having with images not showing on mobile by turning off LazyLoad animation. The issue I had is described here —

  • https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/images-not-displaying-on-mobile-2/
  • Every since I turned off LazyLoad, the menu and search feature in mobile are not functioning. When you press the icons in mobile nothing happens.

    Actions so far:
    Deactivated all non-tagdiv plugins except Visual Composer.
    Installed WP Super Cache and cleared cache. CDN is not enabled.

    Thanks
    Richard
