Hi,
I have Version: 11.5.1 REGISTERED
I have define PLUGINS’ SETTINGS – MOBILE THEME
How can I edit the mobile theme?
notes: When I try to see the mobile version on desktop adding /?AMP it returns to the desktop homepage
Hi,
Unfortunately, the Newsmag theme do not have this option, the only type of menu that you can have on mobile is the hamburger menu.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
I just checked, and it seems you use the mobile theme plugin, which is why are not displayed all the posts.
Also, the problem with the menu and logo is caused y the LiteSpeed cache plugin which minify the css and js. Please disable the options and purge the cache a few times.
Thank you!
So weird, I’m on A2 Hosting, which has a WordPress optimizing program, plus Litespeed cache, and this only happens on a few pages…and the one I referenced is down AGAIN today…crazy.
https://remember.org/komski/komski-paintings1-001
I am seeing that the last script before the blank page is Litespeed cache, Lazy Loading…that’s my current guess that for some reason the lazy load impacts this.
Did notice I was wrong though about what page shows up: I get the title of the page, but the template doesn’t include my header and footer.
My Newspaper theme does have a Mobile theme, which this might be showing as well…so weird it’s only on these 2 pages, as far as I know….will go through the site again and see if other pages are showing, but tends to be only these two…
Those are two of the most popular though…so might just be getting notified about them and not the others.
Default Pro Header on Mobile theme, the logo keeps going to the left on homepage, category pages and some articles but not all. Only happen on mobile devices, and not happening on desktop emulating mobile.

Hi,
I believe that you are using the mobile theme plugin and not the responsive version from the theme. If is so, then please disable the mobile theme plugin, clear all cache and check again. The mobile theme plugin has it’s own layout and it’s allow only a few changes.
Let me know the results!
Hello,
To change/remove the background image for the menu on mobile, please access Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/search background and change/remove the image from here https://www.screencast.com/t/ATV1Jr7s
Thank you!
Thanks. I have now loaded a theme from the Cloud library. It looks good except for the title and the header logo which are tiny.
But I’m wondering what is a good size for the header logo and website name. My desktop header logo is much too small when it’s used in the mobile page. It’s about 450×200 on the desktop but the text (title and tagline) becomes much too small in the mobile version.
Here is a screenshot that shows how my website looks like on mobile:
https://www.screencast.com/t/TG09m1VRxv48
But when i click on an article the header menu gets changed to this picture:
https://www.screencast.com/t/4mp6Xamjev
how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
I have 8 different sites that use the Newspaper system. I have been recently updating websites from the oldest to the newest versions and switched to renewed templates with cloud builder. So far I had no problem and all changes were successful except for the Fast News PRO template. It added 6-8 seconds loading time for both HP and single article. I don’t understand what has influenced the performance of both mobile and desktop so much. During the update – I removed all unnecessary plugins, removed the cache plugin, regenerated the thumbnails by deleting unused formats. This is the only site that causes a problem. The problem does not apply to hosting, because on the same server I have a different domain on the Newspaper system and it loads like crazy.
Theme version: 11.5.1
PHP: 7.4.30
Max_execution_time: 300
WP Memory limit: 256mb / request
thanks i will check that
a last question and we consider this topic solved thanks to you
If I supress the 2 “official AMP plugin” AND “tagdiv mobile theme” plugins … the rest of the theme is still responsive ? do I still get the 4 size icones in the tagdiv editor and nice responsive page? or do I loose much more ?
Hello,
I just checked and saw you have h1 on the mobile sticky header; please go here and check the logo -> https://i.imgur.com/5dsEs9n.png.
Also, please let me know how you set the logo with tagdiv Composer and logo text tagline or if you set the logo in Theme Panel.
Also, both are mobile friendly; you choose the one you want.
Thank you!
I don’t want to use the mobile theme plugin. But Google is now delectating mobile usability issues – though my site is perfectly working on all mobile devices.
Can you please help me this Google’s mobile usability issue?
Hello,
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, then the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. Check the case here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-shown/
If you use the Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with tagDiv Composer.
There are no settings to customize the pages.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in the Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Recently google detected mobile usability issue on some of my articles. I installed and activated mobile theme and AMP plugin but I can’t use the same template for header and footer that I’m using for desktop version.
Can you please help me to use the same template on mobile theme as well?
Hi there! My site, https://fitbabu.com/, is working fine. Google also showed that my site and articles and other pages are mobile friendly and viewable on mobile.
But yesterday they detected one article is not viewable on mobile. Though my articles are perfectly viewable on mobile and small screen scenes.
I don’t use mobile theme or AMP because the AMP and mobile theme makes my site look completely different on mobile devices.
I use one mobile template (mobile version of desktop version) for each page or article on my site. Everything was fine, even google never detected any mobile usability issues until yesterday.
I don’t want to use the mobile theme because because it makes my site look completely different on mobile, including header and footer.
Is there any way I can use newspaper mobile theme and make my site look exactly like how it looks on desktop?
Please help?
see my previous post, I got some more explanation on the 2nd part:
the text shown at page start, is the text from the “Header Logo” block, specifically the Logo Text & Logo Text Tagline … but as soon as you move the page down and up again to show the sticky header, or go to smaller width, this text is, only then, replaced by the text in the theme pannel>header>logo & Favicon
… definitively a bug for your teams
As a workaround I will now replace one text, to be the same as the other one, but clearly misleading in the theme
on the first question, about mobile … any answer please ?
Hopefully you figured this out considering how old this post is but to change the mobile navigation menu colors, as of this post, go to Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/Mobile search. This panel lets you change the gradient applied to the mobile menu.
Hi,
It seems that this problem is only on mobile, on desktop everything seems to be ok. Also the post I believe that its made using the elementor -> https://i.imgur.com/wVGVu4p.png
Using the Newspaper theme we recommend to do not use extra builders for posts, only the WordPress editor (Gutenberg and classic editor).
Please notice that we do not tested the elementor with our theme, so we can not say if this is working correctly, also we can not interfere with it since it is a premium plugin.
Thank you!
Hello Fabrice,
You have the mobile theme plugin activated, and sometimes the plugin for cache doesn’t recognize what version should display desktop or mobile.
Also, I notice that you edit the page and remove the h1 and now you have only one H1 on the page -> https://i.imgur.com/dgIR10y.png
Thank you!
Hello,
To have the same design,n then you need to use the responsive, so please check if you have the mobile theme plugin activated, deactivate it, and if you have a mobile page, then unassign it.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hi,
As I can see in the screenshot the mobile theme is used, but looks is not apply. Did you disable it from some pages or posts?
If you want we can take a look at it, but for this you need to contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide temporary wp-admin access.
Thank you!
how do you access this tagdiv title block ?
I have no, or not anymore, or I do not see it, this block to edit it like in your 1st screencapture
related to that, I see also very likely a theme bug here: it looks that the theme is using the content of that field sometimes, and sometimes using the tagline text of the logo: look at the change of the tagline in the sticky menu if you scroll up or tag (the wording itself is changing). Look also the tagline when moving from desktop to mobile; the tagline text is changing !
Hello,
Yes, the Newspaper is AMP compatibility. We also have a guide for amp -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Please use the amp with the mobile theme plugin and you can choose to use the mobile theme plugin only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/5k5Pc09.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi FinPrepper,
It looks that you are using the mobile theme plugin and this is not configurated. If you want to have the responsive version, then just disable the mobile theme plugin. IF you want to use it, then please check our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for how to configurate it.
Thank you!
