Hello,
Impossible to know how to delete connection in the theme, not visible on the theme but visible in the source and google webcache, disaster for SEO and speed
This is what google finds in the webcache when the mobile version is not activated?

As well as in the source while the mobile plugin is not even activated.
How to correct the problem, and improve the speed, Largest Contentful Paint much too slow
Hello
I have a problem with the TagDiv Composer and TagDiv Mobile Theme plugins. These plugins disable themselves every day.
I activate them and the next day they deactivate themselves again.
I’m going crazy
And another current issue is that the mobile site has code on the home page (https://blondeintheair.com/), the website has a different theme look overall, and some pages don’t have content at all (https://blondeintheair.com/destinations/) which has the header, the title of the page, and the footer.
Please help!
Thanks,
Katharine

@larane It seems to be working for the mobile version, when you but pinterest hover code in the custom html section of the mobile theme. It’s a little bit strange but it doesn’t work if you put in the javascript section.
Greetings Kathrin
Hello!
From what you describe it seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. When you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Thank you!
I didn’t remove Pinterest from the mobile theme, it stopped working after the last update and I don’t know why? I need the Pinterest Hover Buttons for my Blog. So how can I get it work?
Greetings Kathrin
I don’t want to remove all featured images from my site, but it would be nice if they would be provided in proper size when using the mobile theme. This would improve SEO and loading speed.
Greetings
Hello!
I checked your website page and it seems you haven’t active the Mobile Theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
I just inspected the mobile version and now the ad is no longer there, if is there it means that I miss it, please provide a screen to can identify it.
Also make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict to have problems with tagdiv Composer, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hi Topfgartenwelt, the mobile theme plugin is using the options from tagDiv standard pack, therefore, you need to enable the plugin, remove the facebook save the settings and disable the tagdiv standard pack. The settings will be saved in database and will not be affected if you disable the plugin.
Thank you!
Hi Topfgartenwelt, for the moment on mobile theme is use the same featured image as on desktop, there is no option to change it, it can be done only in code.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi Topfgartenwelt, normal if there were no theme update theme, plugins, WP updates, then it should work.
I see that right now you remove it from your mobile.
Thank you!
Hi,
Right now I see that your website is working correctly and for mobile, you are using the mobile theme plugin.
There are still some problems ?
Thank you!
Hi winipnews, I just inspected your website and now the CORS errors are gone and the mobile version is ok -> https://i.imgur.com/n8Y8sGN.png -> https://i.imgur.com/NWCGwm8.png
Our theme requirements are -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ as simchris said you can double those values and see if there are still some problems.
Let us know the results!
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
The mobile theme editor can be found at the bottom of any pages when editing them: https://www.screencast.com/t/wfKibLOjYg
Thank you !
I was using the mobile theme, and there was no difference between one or another. I’ve made the change when you guys introduced the option to do the mobile version of the pages, without the need for the mobile theme (that was only adding space and resources)…
Nonetheless, if this problem is related to me not using the mobile theme, then it is your fault, as you (the team) proposed us costumers to use the mobile pages version, in mid October.
Hi josp, I understand what you are mean, but please notice that the support team can provide only support and no implementation of code. Usually those problems appearing when you are using the responsive version of theme, using the mobile theme plugin you’ll get better results.
Also since now all is around on Largest Contentful Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift our developers will try that the coming them updates to have better results in lighthouse.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi, While I’m activating the mobile theme then the mobile theme is showing up in the desktop mode after clearing the cache also the issue is not fixed.
Website: https://www.the-electronics.com
Is there a way to remove facebook from the mobile theme? I have deactivated the standard pack.
Thank you very much!
Greetings Kathrin
When I do the Google Page Speed Test the pictures which are used in the related articles in the mobile theme have a wrong size? I have activated all thumbnails for the mobile theme but that doesn’t help. Also there is no change when I activate all possible thumbnails for the newspaper theme. What can I do?
Greetings Kathrin
I have tried to deactivate the featured image for the mobile version in the theme panel (mobile plugin), but the featured images are still shown – there is no change. But why they are loaded for the mobile version in the whole kilobyte size of the desktop version? Isn’t there a way to slim down the featured image for the mobile version?

@Larane I took the code which is offered from Pinterest itself and put in a html under design –> widget –> individual html. In the theme I integrated a widget-sidebar in the footer and that worked.
I hope that helps.
Unfortunately it stopped working again on the mobile theme after the update…

Hi Topfgartenwelt!
How did you manage to get it working on mobile too? The theme is blocking images to be pinnable for pinterest…
Thank you und schöne Feiertage,

Can’t seem to find a way to get rid of that button or the the footer. I’ve been in the theme panel and toggled things off but nothing has changed.
I thought your theme was mobile compliant?
