Hi there,
So we have updated to a mobile theme a few weeks ago and never really noticed until today, but whenever I click any page on the mobile it does not have any content. Posts and the website is shown accordingly, but if I choose a page, the site is just empty.
Is there anything extra I need to do?
The webpage is hqb.news, links at the bottom.
Sorry sort of beginner here, thanks
Hi,if you are using the mobile theme plugin, your mobile version will use a different mobile theme and the mobile version will be faster, but you have only few options for editing. For example there will be no sidebars and pages made with builders, those need to be made using the mobile editor more the bottom of each page -> https://i.imgur.com/Qi90hhn.png but the posts will be display, but without sidebar, also there are no extra options to add extra post content, sorry! All that you can do with this mobile theme plugin can be found in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also now we provide a new option of mobile page -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ where you can make your mobile layout like you want, maybe this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi Lalit Joshi, this https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_animals_pro/2019/03/14/td-post-adorable-remorseless-killing-machine-is-worlds-deadliest-cat/ is a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can get it from there and edit it after your needs.
If you want in amp to display the most custom filed then use only the amp, without mobile theme and use this option -> https://i.imgur.com/5Un15Ip.png
Thank you!
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.
Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2

Hello, I have installed Mobile Theme to make my version of my website for mobile devices. (Attached photo Mobile-1)
https://www.radiomarcabarcelona.com/goodnews-design/Mobile-1.png
And I see that my home now in the mobile version, I only see several online publications. I do not see it as in the web version (Attached photo Web-1) https://www.radiomarcabarcelona.com/goodnews-design/Web-1.png
, there are advertisements and blocks on my website and advertising images, which in the mobile version, do not appear. How can I build in my mobile version with the same blocks, as in my web version, to have the same advertising banner and the same news blocks (Big Grid Slide, Block4. Single Image, Flex Block5, etc …)? I hope your help. THANKS
Hi,
The mobile page is a new option, that we hope it will be better then responsive eversion and why not then mobile theme (for the moment this part is in developing), now the only difference is that you can create with tagdiv Composer the mobile pages and cloud templates for responsive version. Therefore is recommended to be use for the users that want to have a different mobile content/layout.
Thank you!
Hello!
Access Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/search background and change the image from here https://www.screencast.com/t/v09SIpC5I

Hi Che@1985, this can be achieve only if you are using the responsive with a cloud header version or mobile page. Those can be edited using tagDiv Composer and add in mobile view port the mobile menu, like this -> https://i.imgur.com/UqjJ6T6.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/RaJsCLC.png -> https://i.imgur.com/nhHIC0b.png -> https://i.imgur.com/naRVzis.png
Hope this will help you!

Hello!
It seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
1.Yes, that is one of the most recommended option to use the mobile theme only for amp.
2.I just try to see this problem on your website and this is what I get -> https://i.imgur.com/wR8E7tc.png
Thank you!
the workaround for this is to disable the mobile Theme plugin, make the changes to the Newsmag theme and re-able it. Than it works, but you might want to look into this conflict.
Hi, I have tried and there is a conflict with the theme setting and tagDiv Mobile Theme. When this plugin is set up, and you change setting like showing author post, etc. it doesn’t save the setting changes. Please can you look into this issue and let us know?
Hello!
I checked your website page and it seems you have installed Mobile Theme plugin.
Please verify you put the logo image for mobile in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Header.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
A demo theme you should be able to edit with TagDiv Composer or set from Website manager which header or footer you need right there. Read more about TagDiv Composer here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hi, the logo is not showing up in the mobile version. Please check the-electronics.com.
Thanks
I have installed a demo theme with content. I have made edit changes in About Us, placed in the footer. But those changes are not reflecting on the website. And on my mobile it is still the dummy text, not changing.
Infact, if I change anything in the theme on desktop. The same is not reflecting on mobile on any other device.
Hi Calin,
I do not use mobile page already it is mobile theme.
I am new and using your theme at that time.
I hope you will help me and solve this problem. Thanks for your support!

If you want to display the responsive version on your mobile exactly like on desktop design, then you need to uninstall Mobile Theme plugin.

Hello !
Have you created your pages in the Mobile editor ? If you are using the mobile theme plugin you need to create your pages in mobile editor as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/7u8yeSoKVPll

Hello !
On a mobile template you can include it. Please note that you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin in order to work with mobile templates. Mobile templates can be edited like desktop ones using tagDiv Composer.
Thank you !
Hi @patrick93
1. Yes, I am using Imagify on some of my and my client’s websites. It is very useful if you have multiple authors and publish multiple stories a day. If you have a single author and have a good knowledge of Photoshop, I recommend using Photoshop to optimize images and make them progressive before you upload them on your server.
2. Yes, if you have local traffic, then there is no need to use Cloudflare. I believe having a Cloudflare free plan in combination with a premium hosting provider is a bad idea.
7. Unfortunately, you can not overwrite mobile theme files using a child theme. You can find style.css file for mobile under /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/style.css
Tip: If you have the same modified CSS code for both mobile and desktop versions, you can add it to Live CSS. You will not lose this on every Newspaper theme’s update.
I hope you will find this helpful.
Hi,
Unfortunately using the mobile theme plugin you have only few options, for example you can set the grid on homepage and you can filtered and sort it, after that it will be display the “latest articles”.
Thank you!
