Hi Calin,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, i managed to turn off the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin so it follow the desktop layout.
Here are some questions i would like to ask:
1. I would like to know how can i show my ads inside my post page on mobile & desktop? (currently the ad is only appear on index page). And on mobile, the 728×90 ad does not appear.
2. Inside my post page, the section above footer is not the same as on index page. I would like to change the layout to 3 columns same as index page (currently is 1 column, top down scroll)
Thank you.
We are using Mobile Theme just for AMP (with transitional mode on AMP plugin). At the end of the articles the “related posts” section does not show any thumbnail.

Hi Guys,
I want to add Jetpack Subscription widget when using tagdiv mobile theme.
Is it possible, right now i cannot see my Subscription newsletter box i can see it when i open the site from PC.
Hi,
Usually the layout is different when you are using the mobile theme plugin, now is look that the mobile version is the same as desktop version.
If there are still some problems, let me know!
Thank you!
Hi andxtagdiv,
There will be soon a theme update that will bring some more improvements for mobile devices, I think that this can help you, unfortunately for the moment I do not know what news will be and how it will work, maybe will include this featured with Google Web Stories.
The update will be in October, hope in first week or at least in the second one.
Than you for your understanding!
Thanks Vlad,
Sorry but you did not answer below:
Official AMP Plugin for WordPress -> I have used the wizard to configure it and selected Standard instead of Transitional and Reader Mode. Which one should i use and whats the use of this plugin and what it actually does. ————–>>>> Still Pending
>> So it means Widgets won’t show if i use tagDiv Mobile theme ?
Hello !
1. The retina should not cause any performance issues.
2. I personally would go for the Mobile Theme + AMP option: Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
3. The mobile theme is a very light version of Newspaper Theme. Unfortunately many “features” will no more be available.
Thank you !
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Thank you !
I have chosen to ignore AMP and your Mobile Theme because for me, there are more disadvantages than advantages. But now Google Web Stories is at the horizon and it seems that I would love to use that for some of my original content.
Are you thinking about Google Web Stories and what that means for your (mobile) theme functions?

Hi,
unfortunately for the moment this can be done only if you hide the content per devices, but this is not a good practice because the page content will be very large.
There will be soon a theme update that will bring some improvements for mobile devices, I think that the mobile version should be more flexible after this theme update.
Thank you for your understanding!
So I figured out the solution. Some of your suggestions worked. I turned off the mobile theme. I couldn’t use the plug-in suggested because it’s incompatible with WordPress.com. Instead, I turned off some features in the AMP plug-in. The pages might load slightly slower but all the content is there. It would be great if the next mobile theme would allow us to keep our desktop theme intact, or at least give us that option! Newspaper 9 didn’t seem to have this problem and worked perfectly for the most part. Thanks for a great theme. I hope to not experience any more errors until next year’s update. <Gulp>

But I have enabled the Retina Blocks as well. Should i enable it does it cause any performance issues ?

Hi Guys,
I have just enabled tagDiv Mobile theme and Official AMP Plugin for WordPress. My site is very new without any external plugins (except jetpack). I have few queries if you can help me with as below:
> My website format on mobile was perfect but i wanted to use AMP Theme and Plugin to take advantage of performance improvements but when i enabled the tagdiv mobile theme, it changed the layout (which is fine as its by design) but why it does not show featured images on the site when using my site on mobile phone (Techpress.net can you please check).
> Mobile Theme shows 3 drids on the home page and can go upto 6. is there any way i can change the grid layout. Rightnow its just stacking the featured image one on top of another.
> Official AMP Plugin for WordPress -> I have used the wizard to configure it and selected Standard instead of Transitional and Reader Mode. Which one should i use and whats the use of this plugin and what it actually does.

Thanks,
as páginas do menu não estão abrindo, aparecem apenas o título
I only use the Mobile Theme on AMP. Is that a thing?
https://wordpress.com/support/incompatible-plugins/#caching-plugins
They said to share that list with you.
Here’s what else they said, “I’m not sure what you mean exactly. Why is the developer saying you need to install a caching plugin? Since we have built in caching, I’m not sure why they’d tell you do that.”
Also, if I disable the mobile theme plug-in, the photos with stories won’t load.
The mobile theme plugin is too inflexible for my content because it is – at its core – date based but my site is not.
So, I was talking about the switch in TD composer, where I can set different content for various screen sizes.
Hi andxtagdiv,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then you’ll use a different theme for mobile devices, this one is more simples to make the content faster, therefore the page content need to be set in mobile editor.
If you want to have the same version, then you can disable the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
When the mobile version is displaying on desktop as in your screenshot, then the problem is from a cache plugin, because you are using the mobile theme plugin, the mobile layout will have a different design and most of the cache plugins do not recognize this and provide the mobile version for desktop. We recommend to use WP Super Cache plugin with the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And yes, if you want to have the same layout for mobile version, do not use the mobile theme plugin or use it but only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/rpyGetE.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try this custom css -> https://i.imgur.com/6XlBNVm.png
.td-post-sharing-classic, .td-post-sharing {
text-align: left!important;
}
Set the code in theme panel> mobile theme> custom code> css.
Hope it will help you!
I reinstalled the theme, and that seemed to fix the missing icons.
However, the navigation items no longer function in any way. This is on desktop and mobile.
Regarding the retina image, the Composer no longer allows me to add images. Clicking on “remove” works, but the upload button does nothing.
Hi,
We are fine, thanks!
I’m happy for the results you achieve using our theme!
The thing is that when you are using the mobile theme plugin for mobile or amp, then you need to use the mobile editor to set the content for pages to be display on amp and mobile version -> https://i.imgur.com/XbaeEsq.png
Another solution is to disable the mobile theme plugin and use this option from amp -> https://i.imgur.com/SsgnGDY.png
Thank you!
