Hello,
Previously I was using another WP theme, and my custom page made by WP Pagebuilder was working fine. Now, after activating Newspaper 9, my page is not showing in mobile devices, and in PC, te page appears with issues.
I tried to install new pre builded page, but it appears with the same issue, so I think that it is a compatibility problem with Newspaper theme. My page is http://motoristes.cat/club/
Thanks
See, Open all the footer pages from the desktop browser, all the page of the footer and the updated theme is opening in the desktop.
but in mobile the updated theme is not showing likewise you can see on the screenshot, also in mobile, the footer pages content is not showing in the mobile
I mean to say the changes I have made on my website pages, content is not showing in mobile

Hi,
thank you! Yes, the question was about this.
But if I need to place analytics script code inside footer?
It do works fine in desktop theme if analytics code was placed in footer.
And I could see test code if it was placed in header.
But no test code in mobile theme at all if it was placed in footer.
Put the code at header and will check how it works there.
But the question still exist why it doesn’t appear if placed in footer…

Hi,
Please try this custom css for mobile arrows, set the code in Theme Panel>Custom code>Custom css and
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: block;
}
For AMP option
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ00jNoM0
If the problem is still there, please provide me a link were I can inspect this problem, in this way I will be able to provide you the right answer.
Also please check this topic about mobile theme plugin and mobile editor -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/the-content-of-the-pages-in-mobile-is-not-visible/
Thank you!
Hi,
Seems that there is still a demo image set somewhere in the theme panel, that was not changed. This image causes a mixed content warning – http://prntscr.com/nyqslz
Try looking for it here – http://prntscr.com/nyqsyt remove it or change it with one of your images.
I checked the website on mobile, looks fine. That is how the mobile theme looks. If you don’t want the mobile theme, you can deactivate it as it is an optional plugin. Then the same content from desktop will appear on mobile.
The latest articles section will appear at the bottom of the page, if the required template is selected for the respective page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
To remove it select a different template, like the default page template for example.
I believe you are using the code for changing the review star color from here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-cant-make-use-of-your-theme-yet/
I made it so that it applies only in posts, but I can modify it to apply everywhere.
– http://prntscr.com/nyqy5h here it is – https://pastebin.com/bUBrVBKB
Remove the previous code and enter this one.
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme will load the general theme panel analytics as well, so any code or script entered here – http://prntscr.com/nypsqz will be loaded in desktop and also in the mobile version as well – http://prntscr.com/nypu2g
If I misunderstand let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
Let me know if you have more questions!
Hey! I have been facing an issue with AMP ever since I updated the theme to 9.7.3. The pages in search are not appearing as AMP anymore. Those which were visible as AMP before are also now not working. I have tried to clear cache and done the plugin check. It doesn’t work. Please help. I’ve seen in the forums that other people are also getting the same problem. I am using the Mobile + Amp option and I don’t want to stop using the mobile theme.
Hello,
I use AMP and mobile plugin. There are three options in the settings. USE MOBILE THEME FOR
1) Mobile
2) Mobile + AMP
3) AMP
If I choose the first or second option, the menu is ok. The login option is displayed, the submenu is displayed.
The third option (AMP) makes the mobile menu simpler. No sign-in option. Only the main links are displayed. No submenu is visible.
If I choose the second option, mobiel + AMP, I have to duplicate the page content. When editing the page, just paste the content into the mobile page editor to the bottom. This is very impractical. I use the wpForo plugin on the web. If I paste the shortcode wpForo into a mobile page editor, the forum will appear on the web, but its style is totally scattered.
I need to use option 3) (AMP), but with this option to display the classic, simplified mobile menu, as with option 1). Is this possible?
The problem is that setting (3) (AMP) does not work (
MAIN MENU, FOOTER MENU, SHOW SIGN IN / JOIN. The mobile menu is always displayed as the main menu of the site.
Thank you for your help.
I have finished creating the website but it is not showing on mobile. I want to see exactly the mobile version of my desktop version. This is my site https://insideeko.com/ Further more my site loading is terrible slow as the lock at the https:// area shows warning sign and this happens only with your theme. I tried a different theme and the locks shows green content loaded fast. Please can be causing the extremely delay load?
** Please can you help me remove the last section of the site before the footer. it is titled LATEST ARTICLES. It is showing differently from every other part of the site I arranged and I have tried to remove but couldn’t find a means.
*** Please the Rating Star only show yellow colour when I open a post, but on Home, they show black stars. Please I will like the Rating Stars to show yellow on Home.
Hi,
as I understood there could be 3 kinds of pages:
1) for desktops (Yandex Metrika code do exist);
2) AMP pages (Yandex Metrika code do exist);
3) mobile theme responcive pages for mobile devices (no Yandex Metrika code exist).
Where should I place Yandex Metrika code for Responcive pages (not AMP pages)?

Hello !
In order to remove that you wil have to edit the: TD_CATEGORY_TEMPLATE_MOB_1.PHP wich can be found in the theme folder: mobile/includes/category_templates/td_category_template_mob_1.php and remove the line 12: https://www.screencast.com/t/AsYm3T5L. After the modifications please make sure that you have cleared your cache.
Also please note that support team is answering the topics from latest to newest. So if you keep replying to your topic you only make the waiting time longer.

Where i should paste Google adsense auto ads as codes so that it works both on desktop and mobile theme.

Hi,
Cloud headers will be displayed only if the mobile theme is not active. The mobile theme is designed to work without using or requiring composer elements. That is why it is much faster. It has it’s own predefined header template which is used.
Settings are kept to a minimum to maintain performance. We will however add more settings for the mobile theme in future updates.
So you would like to use a text logo in the mobile theme, at the moment that is not possible unfortunately. It might be possible in the future. Currently only an image logo can be used.
I see this logo at the moment – http://prntscr.com/nya5a7
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme which displays a different layout on mobile than the desktop. For more details about Mobile Theme functionality, please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Also, if you do not like it, you should disable that plugin and than, the theme will be automatically switched to general responsive mode.
Thank you!
Hi,
From what I can see there are no posts and a static homepage, set at the moment. The mobile theme looks like this demo website that has it enabled, you can check it with a mobile – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
Some documentation about the mobile theme here – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
If you use the default WordPress blog page, the mobile homepage will be the same, a list of posts.
But if you use a static page, the mobile homepage will have a top grid displaying featured posts, a latest articles section, and extra content if you enter any in the mobile editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Our theme have A big grid Slide, a post slide and revolution slider, unfortunately those will not work on AMP, only on desktop, and in responsive version of Newspaper Theme.
-> How to install Revolution Slider v5 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
Import Revolution Sliders on demos -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
You can add more ads in amp only if you are using mobile theme, the ads set in mobile theme ads will be show in amp too -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fR5Xka4z
Using other ads -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
In the mobile version is not showing the Modified Date because you are using the mobile theme plugin, unfortunately this do not have for the moment the Modified Date option; in order to have this option on mobile, please deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
4. When the mobile theme is enabled, you will have to create 2 versions for each page. One for desktop with the composer or in any way possible, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor (can’t be built with the composer)
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Mobile pages will be empty if no content is added in the mobile editor found in the page edit screen (should be at the bottom)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sE6as7bJLAq
An exception is the mobile homepage which will show a top grid displaying featured posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Below it there will be a latest articles section.
If the mobile theme is not active, then the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobiles as well.
5. The issue with the logo seems to be caused by the speed booster plugin, after deactivating the check. The desktop logo shouldn’t appear on mobile. I could give you a quick fix for it – http://prntscr.com/ny8l6j
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo {
display: none!important;
}}
The code can be entered in the theme panel, custom CSS section.
The scroll to top arrow displays when the mobile theme is active. In the default responsive version it doesn’t appear – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/scroll-to-top-mobile/
I believe this will be changed in a future update, so that it will appear by default in the responsive version as well.
Hi,
If you want to make these changes, you need to use a bit of CSS code for that. Use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/F2FgLyIZ5HsK
.td-header-wrap, .td-mobile-footer-wrap {
background-color: red;
}
Thank you!
