I bought this theme because I tested the live and it looked very good. but in practice I’m not having a good experience. After installing the menu in the mobile version does not work, we already sent messages to the support and nobody helps us. My site is live and I’m having a lot of complaints. very disappointed.
Hi,
I added an adsense ad (style=”display:inline-block;width:320px;height:100px”) to header ad in mobile theme, but the add that appears in mobile version is bigger.
With the smartphone in horizontal the ad shows at right size, when i turn the phone to vertical the ad shows bigger.
I need the ad with the right size.
It is possible? Or the theme is resizing the ad?
Hi,
As per the AMP specification, logo should be 600*60 but Newspaper theme is supporting 140 x 48px logo for a mobile and the same is being used in AMP pages. I need to add 600*60 logo for AMP pages alone. Please provide me a solution to achieve it.
Regards,
Sathya
Hello,
My mobile menu is working well but the background image of the menu that I set using the theme panel is displayed in low quality. I set the background image to 692×1094, it gets a little better but it’s still quite pixelized.
Is it possible to display a HD image ?

OK, that’s ok. But can you explain me procedure when I want to downgrade the theme from 9.7.2 to 9.5 ? Only with that theme version, I don’t have any problem, all after having some bugs. Now in 9.7.2. I try to write some custom CSS in theme panel-mobile theme-custom CSS, and theme just can’t remember settings after savings.
Do I need to delete first theme folder, or first to deactivate plugins and delete them and after that to change theme with old and install plugins?

This has been bugging me for years on this theme. The mobile menu doesn’t work. The three lines are there, but when you click them, the screen just shrinks a bit but the menu doesn’t actually drop down. It has worked on occasion but not often. Same on your demo – it only works sometimes.
When I create a post with WPBakery, the contents of those posts will no margin both sides on the phone with Mobile Theme, but if I use the classic editor, there will be. How can I solve it? Thank you

Good afternoon,
We just updated our theme to the latest version, and we went to re-add our codes from google ad manager (formerly Double Click) the mobile header file as we have in the past but we can no longer locate the folder/files. It says the plugin is activated, curious, did the location of files change?
The code we are trying to add is needed to display ads on mobile.
Thank you!
Hi, I updated to the new newspaper theme version and my mobile menu is just gone (houseremedy.com) and I have tried already disabling all of the plugins and it doesn’t bring the menu back.
Hi I have read this version 9.7.2 update
fix: AMP works properly when using child theme.
Does it mean that I can activate AMP with Costomizzazione on thema child but not the mobile plugin?
Thank you
Hi team,
Not OK, the file is not in the path you showed, I found it in public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/front-page.php.
Even I found the file, I changed as you said, changed name of category as the same name in the file too.
As in result : It’s not OK.
Please double check.
Thanks,
#1 can you address the following question from above?
I’m really confused now, you walked me through a process above to get a different header on a category. The theme has the ability to format category pages in the admin. So are you saying that i can create a header for the category page, but that does not extend to the posts in that category?
#2 I’m trying to get a different logo for mobile, not the site wide logo. If i am in the admin for the Laval header settings, it seems like you can adjust the various views. So here’s my desktop view: http://www.westislandblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/desktop-view.jpg
and here’s the mobile view http://www.westislandblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/mobile-view.jpg, you can see i’ve changed the menu to be the mobile one, gotten rid of the ad zone, and it’s the laval logo, all shows in the admin view. It all looks like that on the phone view in terms of layout, but the logo doesn’t show as laval, it shows site wide.
#3: I also have an issue with ipad in the layout. As it loads, it’s great, once it is loaded it is not.
Hi,
I can’t see that ad at the moment – http://prntscr.com/ngri2j
Maybe something could be done with CSS. Could be the same issue as in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-menu-issue-2/ so that code may work.
Thanks
Hi,
Using mobile+amp you’ll have the same layout for mobile posts/pages and amp, but you’ll need to make a new content in mobile editor for pages and amp.
Using Amp you’ll have the same layout on mobile like on desktop, but the speed will be lower, and you’ll still need to make content for pages in mobile editor, if you want to have amp on pages.
Please check our documentation for mobile theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/ and How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
If you are using mobile theme you have for the moment only few option to customize the mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Msv4Q7Ka9H

Aha! I just noticed, that it is possible to use the mobile theme ONLY for AMP-pages. So it would be the best way, to install the mobile plugin, but only to use it for AMP pages, so that normal mobile-users see the responsive layout of the normal Newspaper-theme?
Hello,
I know, that AMP seems to work best with the official AMP-plugin and the mobile theme of newsletter. That’s the recommendation.
But I do not want to use the mobile theme, because it has too much limitations.
Which are the best AMP-settings for the normal Newspaper-theme?
Right now in the AMP-plugins settings, only the template mode “Reader” seems to work with Newspaper. The other more promising modes “Native” or “Transitional” mess up the AMP-layout. Is it right, that with the Newsletter standard theme only the “Reader” mode is working? It would be great, to have a more individual layout for the AMP pages even when not using the mobile theme of Newspaper. The Reader-mode is quite boring 🙂
Greetings!
Please try to not reply multiple times in your own topic, it will only delay our answer because it will refresh the topic date. We reply from oldest to newest.
When a theme is updated, the theme package will contain the latest versions for all the theme plugins. So if you use the latest theme, this will use the latest plugins. On themeforest always the latest version of the theme will be available for download.
If you are having problems with the mobile theme, please explain in more details what is happening.
Regarding the grid you mention in the screenshot, if you want to customize it edit the page with the tagDiv composer – https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Each element that can display posts can display the posts you want, they can be filtered and sorted. Simply click on the element and use the settings in the composer to configure it.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Hi,
If you want to have the first and last page in mobile you can use this custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/zu88VFUMGLN you need to set this custom css in Theme panel> Mobile theme > Custom code> css
.page-nav .first, .page-nav .last, .page-nav .extend {
display: block;
}
Unfortunately in order to set the load more button on mobile you’ll need to do some custom work, you need to do it yourself through the code and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take, in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Unfortunately in Newspaper v9.7 the child theme is working only for style and functions files from theme, the child theme will not work for mobile plugin, please check this article for more details -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/important-new-update-newspaper-9-7/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi, I would love some help with the mobile theme.
1. Currently, I have selected “Mobile + AMP” in my theme panel. But, I am actually not clear about the differences between “Mobile + AMP” vs “AMP”, could you briefly explain?
2. What is the right way to check if my website is AMP ready?
3. Also, I am unable to locate any mobile editor or where I can make some changes to my mobile theme. For example, I would like to add my website title on the mobile menu, remove the article view count, comment count and author image in the mobile article page.
I am currently updated to newspaper 9.7.
Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!
